We tried the Margherita and the Genovese (a basil sauce, sausage, and mozzarella cheese pizza) which is limited to 10 servings per day. The authentic stone oven cooks the pizza in about 60 seconds, so there is no waiting. The Margherita's tomato sauce is simple yet delicious, paired perfectly with the White Kushiro cheese, and even my wife, who eats lightly, enjoyed it. The Genovese pizza has a unique salty and flavorful sausage topping that gives it a satisfying taste, unlike any chain restaurant. The pizza dough, with Dalmatian spots, is crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. When you bite into it, you can taste a hint of sweetness. The owner mentioned that letting the dough rest enough brings out this sweetness. The interior of the restaurant is clean and tastefully designed, with the impressive stone oven in the center. I would definitely like to visit this place again! Next time, I would like to try the homemade smoked bacon pizza, recommended by the owner. It would be a great drive route to shop at the newly opened Montbell store nearby and enjoy delicious pizza here.

Located a short distance from Lake Kanayama, this shop has a spacious, bright, and stylish interior with a high ceiling. The large wood-fired oven at the center of the shop is quite impressive. The pizzas baked in this wood-fired oven are delicious, with a crispy exterior and a soft and chewy interior. The limited special menu "Genovese" with homemade basil has a wonderful aroma, and the homemade sausage also has an outstanding flavor. The Keema curry, although it does not contain minced meat, has a perfect balance of curry, Vienna sausages, and cheese, with a generous portion that leaves you fully satisfied. It seems to be run by a couple and has a lovely atmosphere, making it a very charming place.

The highway, Kari-kachi Pass, and Nichi-kachi Pass are all closed. It's a bit of a hassle, but let's just eat pizza. We found a trendy cafe with a cozy atmosphere. The place is run by a husband and wife team. The husband cooks while the wife handles drinks and service. They offer 7 types of pizza, and we ordered the Keema Curry pizza with shredded cheese and sausage. I had an iced coffee, while my companion had an iced cafe latte. The pizza arrived piping hot within 10 minutes, with a crispy crust, spicy Keema curry, stretchy cheese, and juicy sausage. It was delicious! I wish they had a lunch menu with smaller pizza options. This is a delicious restaurant that serves pizza with a great crust. If you can't finish your meal, they provide aluminum foil and paper bags so you can take the leftovers home. As they say, "It's still delicious when cold." I reheated it a bit at night and the crust became even chewier, offering a slightly different texture from when I ate it at the restaurant. This is the place to go for lunch in Minamifurano.
