I stopped by after visiting a hot spring in Ebetsu. They are currently not serving food or drinks inside the restaurant. When I ordered takoyaki, the owner started cooking it right away. Some students who came later seemed like regulars, ordering casually by number. The crepes had a wide variety of options, ordered by number instead of menu names. After about 10 minutes, my order was ready, with the choice of sauce, mayonnaise, and bonito flakes. I took the hot takoyaki to eat in my car. The large takoyaki balls were crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside, and while the octopus pieces weren't very big, they were delicious. Next time, I want to try the "mochi takoyaki" with rice cakes inside. Thank you, Takoyoshi!

Near JR Oimachi Station, along National Route 12. The crepe and takoyaki banners are the landmarks. I happened to be driving by when I suddenly noticed the crepe banner... I turned back and found the shop haha. Inside the shop, there is a kitchen space on the right as you enter, and there are tables and chairs so you can also eat inside. The takoyaki is being made by the owner. They use locally sourced wheat and eggs from Ebetsu for the ingredients. I felt like having takoyaki, so I ordered the "Cheese Takoyaki". When it was ready, the owner asked if it was okay to put on seaweed mayo. Of course, I asked for it to be put on all of them. Since I was on a drive, I ate it right away at a nearby parking lot! Wow! The takoyaki is quite big! The batter is fluffy and gooey. It's hot! It feels like I might burn myself because it's so hot. The cheese is not overpowering, and the variety used has a mild saltiness that goes well with takoyaki. I'm happy that they use the head part of the octopus, which is soft and easy to chew. If it were the tentacles, they tend to get stuck in your mouth until the end. Clever choice! The batter seems to have dashi in it, so it's quite delicious even without mayo! Personally, I find this takoyaki tastier than the one from Gindaco. The area seems to have many students, so the prices are reasonable. As a local, I'm happy about the concept of using locally sourced ingredients. The variety of crepes they offer is amazing... haha. I really hit the spot with this takoyaki! I want to come back for more. Thank you for the meal!

Cheese Takoyaki for 500 yen. I stumbled upon a takoyaki shop while passing by. It's located along Route 12. You can park a few cars in front of the shop. They offer 3 types of takoyaki, and I ordered the Cheese Takoyaki. They make it fresh after you order, so there is a bit of a wait, but it's nice to have it piping hot. It's a soft and gooey type that you can't eat with a toothpick. I really like this type. It's filled with plenty of diced cheese and delicious. It's quite large, but 6 pieces for 500 yen might be a bit expensive. This shop also has a wide variety of crepes. They seem to be particular about using locally sourced ingredients like eggs, flour, and milk from Ebetsu. I'll try the crepes next time. Thank you for the meal.

While passing by a recycling shop and a red brick store next to the station (I can't remember the name), as usual, my son said he wanted to eat a crepe. Casually looking around, I noticed a takoyaki and crepe shop, which seemed a bit suspicious. Crepes with a 50 yen discount? Quite bold. We decided to go in. The shop was spacious and had seating available. They had photos of crepes and takoyaki with numbers to choose from. An older lady came out to take our order. We ordered crepes for me and my son, and takoyaki for my wife. The crepes had a firm texture, making it easy to eat without the filling spilling out. The filling was decent and satisfying. The takoyaki looked delicious, probably because they were freshly made. I'll definitely try the takoyaki next time. By the way, they don't have many operating days, so it's best to check on Tabelog. Thank you for the meal.

This is a takoyaki shop located along Route 12 in January 2016. I decided to buy some as souvenirs. The shop has two table seats, self-service tea, and a variety of magazines and manga. In addition to takoyaki, they also have a wide variety of crepes made with locally sourced ingredients from Ebetsu. I ordered two takoyaki balls. The owner skillfully made them. The shop has been in business since 1989. The most popular item is takoyaki with mochi inside. It was a very large takoyaki with soft and creamy batter. The surface was also soft and it was my favorite takoyaki. The octopus filling was not too firm and well balanced. Thank you for the meal! ✿ฺ(๑´ڡ`๑)✿ฺ.

Welcome! Located in the Omasu Station area of Ebetsu City, along the R12 road, just a short walk from Omasu Station towards Sapporo, next to Sekoma, you'll see the fluttering flag of "Ebetsu Komugi"! Oh, it's not the owner, it's the father! This place offers takoyaki and crepes, with the option to take the takoyaki to go. After ordering, they take their time to mix the batter and leisurely cook it with a sizzling sound. It seems like they are a bit nervous when customers come in. Oh, it's the father again, another customer! Seems like they have regular customers here. "Sorry for the wait, do you want mayo on it?" I nod in agreement and receive the takoyaki with mayo, six piping hot pieces. They are made with 100% local wheat, giving them a chewy texture and a creamy center. The small octopus inside is tender and bouncy. The takoyaki is quite filling, even though they are large in size. The crepes, made with Ebetsu wheat, come in a variety of flavors. The prices are student-friendly, and the warmth of the locals is also felt. Thank you for the delicious meal!

On a certain weekday, I remembered a place I had never visited before and decided to stop by for lunch. It is located in Bunkyo-dai Higashi-cho, Ebetsu City, and seems to specialize in crepes. There is parking space for about one car in front of the store. The interior of the store is spacious, with a counter and one table at the back, although it cannot be used due to the current situation. From the menu, I was interested in the takoyaki, but this time I decided to try the "Fresh Strawberry Whip Crepe (350 yen, currently on sale for 300 yen)." I took it home and took a bite... The crepe had a textbook-like yellow color, and the texture was chewy. It had a sweet and rich flavor of whipped cream with cut strawberries placed throughout. Considering the price, it was quite good. I couldn't help but think that the place seemed to be targeting students, but with many university students currently attending remote classes and not going to school, I hope they can get through this difficult time. Thank you for the meal.

At the Ebetsu Shrine Grand Festival, they set up a stall in the community center parking lot. I buy from them every time they participate in events in Ebetsu city. I have never bought from their actual store. My favorites are the takoyaki and crepes with caramel sauce. I order three crepes: caramel with double whip cream and custard, caramel with whip cream and custard, and chocolate with double whip cream and custard. I put the two crepes I don't eat right away in the freezer. The crepe batter made with Ebetsu wheat is thin, yet moist and chewy with a great texture. You can really taste the texture of Japanese wheat. When the caramel sauce mixes in, the sweetness of the wheat and sauce spreads in your mouth. The person at the shop said, "We participate in events more often than having an actual store. It's more profitable that way. Many customers have trouble finding our store location." That's why I always buy from them when they participate in events.
