On a Friday night, we went to an izakaya in Koini, a little late. There is also a shop on Nishi 28-chome, which seemed to have a good reputation on Tabelog, but it doesn't allow children, so it's hard to go. When my husband and I happened to go out for a drink, we went to the Koini shop. When we entered the store, the seats in front were mostly empty. There were several customers in the back. We were seated at a table next to the customers, and we were informed that we would be ordering through a QR code due to the coronavirus situation. We ordered right away. I ordered a half-size draft beer, which I like, and it came in a cute glass made of thin glass material. The appetizer cost 450 yen, which was a simmered dish with chicken meatballs. The chicken broth was well prepared and delicious. The chicken tataki, served with grated daikon radish and scallions, topped with soy sauce, was average in taste. It lacked sweetness and depth of flavor. The three-masu pickles with green nanba were served in a small amount and were slightly frozen when served. Is this intentional? It was just the right spiciness for a drinking snack. When I dipped the leftover chicken tataki in it and ate it, it was very delicious. I regret not eating it this way from the beginning. The zangi was delicious, but the presentation was lacking. Since it's a skewer dish, the skewers were neither good nor bad, just average. The liver skewers were cooked perfectly. The fried tofu and yam tempura snacks were also average. I ordered a fresh grape sour, which had a few grape fruits in it. The quantity was unusually small, and the taste was almost non-existent. It was unusual to be served like this. Maybe grapes are expensive now? The staff were young and handsome. I didn't feel their service spirit, but they weren't rude either, so the impression was faint. The total cost for the two of us was 5,990 yen. The cost performance was also not great.
