I knew there was a shop here for a long time, but I visited for the first time. The interior of the shop was smaller than I imagined. The curtain was more worn out than I expected, and it was even hanging upside down (laughs). The menu posters on the wall were all messed up. I ordered the spicy ramen for 850 yen. An old man in shorts and a t-shirt made it. He brought barley tea from somewhere. It was served over the counter. I think this might be tantanmen? The taste is like tantanmen. The noodles are thin noodles, just like the ones I eat at home. Maybe store-bought? There's a lot of noodles, too. It's not just one serving, is it? I think it's well-balanced as tantanmen. I feel like I understand why this place has been around for so long. Thank you for the meal.

I'm not sure if this was a restaurant I had bookmarked, but in the end, the noodles weren't my preferred low-hydration type. The old-fashioned ramen had a nostalgic feel to it, though it may seem disrespectful, I don't understand why they chose to open a shop in this kind of location.

I was drawn back by the friendliness of the head chef! I was wondering what to eat this time. I felt like having rice. I wanted to eat white rice. So, I ordered a fish set meal. It was a lot of food lol, but I got a bonus of a Japanese-style cream croquette! I also got some seaweed tsukudani! They always give some kind of bonus, I feel bad (;´д`) I finished it all in one go! The soup was not miso soup, but it had a sophisticated taste and was delicious. I think I'll go back again. Actually, I'll go back again!!

Sushi, sashimi set meal, fish set meal, pork bowl, katsu bowl, tempura, ramen, fried rice - this place has everything! And then I discovered the meatball miso ramen. The photo showed a raw egg floating on top. This is it! I ordered the meatball miso ramen. While waiting, I couldn't help but be curious about the menu. The staff thoughtfully warmed the ramen bowl in a separate pot. Finally, it arrived! Oh, there's a raw egg floating on top! The owner said it might get hot, so I should take off my jacket. What!? It must be packed with stamina! I quickly took off my long sleeves. I took a sip of the soup. Hmm, delicious. I never knew such a place existed! I debated over what to do with the raw egg. I decided to crack it and mix it into the soup. Oh, it's tasty! I also ordered rice! When I asked for rice, they asked if I wanted garlic to go with it. What!? Garlic is my favorite! The rice came with garlic! The friendly owner made me a fan of this place. I want to try more than just ramen here. The barley tea was a nice touch too.

I have passed by this place many times before, maybe hundreds of times. It always caught my eye because it's in a noticeable location. But usually when I pass by this street, I have something else to do, so I couldn't stop by. Well, today I had a bit of time, so I decided to drop in. The interior of the small shop was empty! It was just me and the owner. I ordered the soy sauce ramen. The menu on the wall had a wide variety of options. I thought it was a ramen shop, but they also had pork cutlet bowls, sashimi sets, tempura bowls, and even sushi menus on the counter! They even do sushi delivery. Quite impressive, considering there's a sushi specialty shop right across the street! (laughs) The food arrived in about 10 minutes. The soup had a rich color, a tonkotsu and seafood broth. And man, it was really salty (laughs). Not that I don't like it, but it's quite high in salt and rich in flavor. There were two slices of char siu, one made from belly meat and the other from thigh meat, both well-seasoned. The bamboo shoots were seasoned, not sure if they season it here. And there was lettuce! Crunchy texture, but I wonder if it really goes well with ramen? Also, there were naruto and green onions. Well, ramen has a wide range of flavors, so most of the time it's enjoyable. If you keep coming here, you'll understand and appreciate the taste. The owner was friendly and engaged in random conversations. It would be awkward if he didn't say anything despite it being just the two of us. No, I quite liked the conversation with the owner. If I have the chance, I'll definitely come back again.

▷Located in Minamisawa, Minami-ku, there is a ramen shop called "Daishin". If you head towards Kosekiyama from Monan Park, you will find this shop on the bus street running through the residential area of Minamisawa. I had always passed by, so I was curious and decided to visit. *Visited around December 2013* The place was surprisingly crowded when I entered. It seemed like mostly families were dining. I spent quite some time deciding on my order... ▷I ordered the "Vegetable Ramen" because ramen is the best way to make up for a lack of vegetables (laughs). The wait was about 15 minutes. First, I took a sip of the soup... Hm, the soup was surprisingly lukewarm. And it had a strong fishy and unpleasant taste. The freshness of the tonkotsu shiratama-based soup was not impressive. Next, I tried the noodles... Slurp... They were unexpectedly thin and low-hydration noodles. I actually like the texture of these noodles, but the low quality of the soup and sauce dragged them down... "I can't find anything appealing about this, it's a rare mediocre dish." Even with this hearty amount of vegetables, it felt wasteful. The Vegetable Ramen for 850 yen... expensive, too expensive. I was disappointed with the quality of the chashu as well, and at this point, everything about this place seemed "nothing special". I'm close to conquering Minami-ku. ...The Sapporo Minami-ku area is filled with tough competitors. There are still challenging moments waiting for me. ◉ In short, it's a disappointment. I doubt I'll ever visit "Ramen Daishin" again. ...Goodbye. ~Afterword~ I am a BAD CHILD I have been brought down to this corrupt ramen shop How do I eat on such a taste? I didn't pay money for something like this ♪

This is a place in Minamiku, specifically in Minamizawa. It might be a bit troublesome to explain, so please check the location on the map on Tabelog as usual. This restaurant has had reviews for a long time, so it's my turn to share my thoughts. I visited on a holiday because it's quite far. Upon arriving at the front of the restaurant and parking my car, I headed inside. The restaurant has a rare light blue noren curtain. Inside, there was no one, and a sign instructed to ring the bell for service. I rang the bell, and the owner and his wife quickly appeared. I ordered the usual "shio ramen." The soup, which was supposed to be tonkotsu, turned out to be tonkotsu shiratama. It had a creamy texture with a slight seafood flavor, which I personally felt was unnecessary. The saltiness level was a bit on the salty side. The noodles were slightly overcooked, white, medium-thick, curly noodles. The toppings included two slices of chashu, menma, naruto, half a boiled egg, watercress, and green onions. The crunchy texture of the watercress was particularly enjoyable. Trying the shio ramen reminded me of the ramen from "Ajiko" that used to be on Hondori 8-chome, even though the atmosphere is no longer the same.
