[Takeout] A long-established butcher shop, Meat Shimizu, relocated from the area around Iwamizawa Station in November 2021. The new shop is located in the same building as 29DINNER, which produces and sells side dishes and bento using Meat Shimizu's meat. The shop is located about 420 meters from the intersection of 6-jo-dori and Nishi 10-chome-dori in Iwamizawa City, heading towards Ebetsu. I visited the shop around 1 pm on June 7, 2022, and was surprised to see that Meat Shimizu had moved. The arrangement of the meat in the store had changed, and the seasoned items were in a different place. I realized this after paying and decided to buy them next time. I bought pork tongue (1 piece), which was slightly thick and had a satisfying chewiness and delicious taste without any unpleasant smell. The meaty flavor was strong, and the texture was firm, giving a sense of satisfaction. I look forward to trying the seasoned pork sagari by lightly seasoning it with salt and pepper and grilling it. I want to try the seasoned hormone and Jingisukan from Meat Shimizu again soon.
