Home delivery kamameshi from Kamatora. This shop seems to be affiliated with the home delivery sushi chain Gin no Sara. When I ordered for delivery, I also received a Gin no Sara flyer. For a little luxury during the company lunchtime, I had the eel and burdock kamameshi. The kamameshi came with broth and pickles. I first ate it without the broth, and then enjoyed it hittsumabushi-style. The delicious kamameshi brought out the savory flavor of the burdock. It was a great meal. Thank you!

Since I found out about this place last year, I have been wanting to try their kamameshi (kettle-cooked rice) for a long time! Unfortunately, my home is outside of their delivery area, so I couldn't order takeout. But recently, I found out that my mother's house is just within the delivery area, so we were able to have it delivered there. It's a bit pricey, but being able to enjoy freshly cooked kamameshi delivered to your door is a delight. They also offer lunch specials at a slightly lower price. I had the "Lunch Gomoku Kamameshi" (1004 yen), my mother had the "Lunch Grilled Mackerel Kamameshi" (1004 yen), and my companion had the "Lunch Chicken Kamameshi" (1004 yen). They come with a pot of soup, and you can enjoy the kamameshi as is or add condiments and soup to make ochazuke. I'm curious about their limited-time "Kakunosuke Hamburger," so I'll definitely order from them again. Thank you, Kamatora!
