I stopped by after going to the nearby Aeon. It was still before 5 PM on a weekday, but the place was packed with people, including a lot of gentlemen who seemed to be coming from the horse races. The staff at the restaurant were all young and energetic, making the experience very enjoyable. I would definitely like to visit again.

I went with my daughter, so I ordered what she wanted to eat. We ordered a sashimi platter, crab cream croquette, shrimp meatball skillet, zangi (fried chicken), and seafood yakisoba. Everything was delicious, especially the croquette. It was not really a place to bring a minor, but it was busy on a Saturday and it took quite a while for the food to be served. One thing that bothered me was that when I checked the bill, a drink was missing from the receipt. When I pointed it out, they simply added it without much of an apology. The service was outstanding when I visited the store near the station, so I was a bit disappointed this time. Next time, I will come with adults.

Last night in Sapporo. Let's have a party under the elevated tracks at Kuwazon Station! Great cost performance, seats available on the day, and excellent service at Monkichi Shoten. The sashimi was cut into large pieces and satisfying. I drank a lot of Sapporo Classic and tea highballs to finish. Personally, I loved the crab cream croquette... I want to come back again! I was impressed by the cheerful customer service of the staff. There are plenty of menus with various unique dishes, making it hard to decide. It might be interesting for guests from Honshu to use. However, be aware that there are days when it can be too lively.

I have a hospital appointment every two months, and I love going to the Kabocha restaurant afterwards. Today, I had lunch at "Monkichi Shouten in front of the AEON store" in Kabocha. I ordered the "Salmon Fry & Zangi Set Meal" for 680 yen. The food was a bit tough, but it was decent for the price. Overall, it was a satisfying meal. I think this place would be great for drinks in the evening, so I might come back next time for that.

There are still hot days, but the wind is starting to cool down. When I went to the supermarket on the weekend for some shopping, I felt like having some fish and decided to stop by for a light dinner and a drink. As a solo diner, I was drawn to a limited-time offer called the "Monkichi Trial Set". I chose the buri tataki ponzu from the menu options. It came with a set of sashimi, zangi, and a drink. The sashimi included three types: hirame (flounder), kanpachi (amberjack), and salmon. There were two types of soy sauce available: kombu soy sauce and Kyushu soy sauce. The hirame was thickly sliced and tender, while the kanpachi was thinly sliced and quite delicious. The salmon had a good balance of fat and was complemented well by the sweetness of the Kyushu soy sauce. Next, the buri tataki ponzu had plenty of green onions and was lightly seared. The buri had a slightly off-putting smell, which was a bit disappointing. The zangi was big and crunchy, and the generous portion of lemon added a nice touch. Overall, the meal was satisfying and not too heavy, which I appreciated on a warm day. There were other menu options available, but I had limited time on that day. We used the restaurant with 9 people from 18:30 on Thursday, December 27th. We booked a course for 4000 yen online. The restaurant is located under the elevated tracks on the east side of Kuwon station. The interior is spacious and can accommodate quite a few people. The course includes a hot pot with all-you-can-drink option. Each ingredient is large and satisfying to eat! In particular, the octopus was delicious with its oily texture! In addition, there are plenty of dishes such as crispy fried chicken and hot seafood hot pot. The rice porridge at the end was also delicious, with a flavorful soup. It's a recommended restaurant!

After finishing a meal at a similar restaurant, I joined the offline meeting that I had said I would go if I could. It was in the opposite direction from my house again! There were six of us, including my dad. I ordered a highball, which turned out to be huge! Cheers! We were already feeling good from eating and drinking a lot. I wasn't sure what we had ordered, but what came out was salt-grilled shrimp soba and zangi (deep-fried chicken). They didn't overlap with what we had in the first round, so it was nice to enjoy them. The soba had a good flavor. And the mountain of zangi was hot and oozing with fat when you took a bite. Sanen off third place in the mulberry garden ... Five people wandering around the store under the elevated station aim at "Monkichi Shoten" ... I had lunch at the white stone "Monkichi Shoten" during the day ... This pattern is also rare when entering a store that doesn't seem too crowded on weekdays, with a capacity of about 50 people as far as I can see, I occupy the table near the entrance with six people. This is the third party of the Kuwanazon meetup in December 2018. Midway through, "Holy Father" from My Reverie joined us. So, it's "Monkichi Store Kuwanazon AEON Store". "I will become the Pirate King!!!!" Monki~Chi~Luffy, just kidding!! (laughs) We ordered "Seafood Shrimp Chashao Yakisoba", "Zangi for Corner High 3 people", and "Tachipon" - all perfect for sake. The seafood flavor in the yakisoba was delicious. The zangi was the size of an adult male's fist, so even one was quite filling. I haven't tried tachipon before, so I don't know. It's a convenient place to eat. I'd like to say "I'll visit again", but I don't have many chances to drink in my local Kuwanazon, so I usually end up going home and having a drink there instead (laughs).

Just before they served it and placed it on the table, they accidentally dropped one lemon, but the lost lemon was not replaced... Nevertheless, having more than the usual amount of lemon in the sour was delightful♪ I'm writing this review while reminiscing alone. Here comes the huge zangi - hot and fresh is always good, and the size also makes an impact! Just the visual alone makes me feel full already haha. Seafood and shrimp salt yakisoba - even without eating it, the seafood flavor is enough to be a great snack with alcohol. The seafood flavor and saltiness match perfectly, and this yakisoba made me think I would like to eat it again if they were open for lunch as a regular meal. Finally, with gratitude and love, one bottle of Chiovita Lemon aside, I felt like I wanted to come back to Monkichi because the staff's vibe was great. The third meetup was at Monkichi Shoten. The East Plaza at Kuwanazon allows for easy indoor movement between shops even in winter, which is nice. The organizer for the day seemed a bit hesitant about lunch being at a different Monkichi Shoten, but we all convinced them that it would make for a good story. The restaurant had two 6-person tables and eight 4-person tables, making it relatively spacious in the East Plaza. There were about three groups of customers already there when we arrived. Monkichi Shoten is usually quite busy, but the Kuwanazon branch was relatively quiet on this weekday. We each toasted with our preferred drinks - beer, wine, freshly squeezed lemon sour set, etc. The freshly squeezed lemon sour set came with a mountain of half-cut lemons on the side, which the group found amusing. The beer was a Premium Malt. One more person joined us, making it a group of six. The new reviewer was energetic and had impressive initiative - something to learn from. [Food Ordered] - Appetizer (choice of 3) for 390 yen: I chose the black pepper-seasoned bamboo shoots. The strong black pepper flavor went well with the beer. - Seafood Ebi Shio Shirayaki Soba for 680 yen: Salt-flavored soba with onions, carrots, bean sprouts, and two whole shrimp on top. Even without eating the shrimp heads, the seafood flavor was evident in the noodles. - Special Zangi for 3 people for 680 yen: Even though only one person ordered the "special" zangi, it came with 6 large pieces. The crispy coating was enjoyable, especially when paired with alcohol. - Tachipon for 680 yen: The freshness of the fish was decent, but the texture was a bit harder than usual.
