I was in Kushiro for work and had lunch at "Shokudo Iroha" today. I really wanted to write a revisit review for this place. Actually, I was stationed in Kushiro from autumn 2011 to 2014, and I visited this place a few times back then. It had closed down in 2014, but it reopened later. I wanted to update my review since it was still showing as closed. The closure was due to a change in management. The menu here is quite extensive, so it took me a while to decide. This time, I went for the Hamburg and Shrimp Fry set meal for 900 yen. It was ready in just over 5 minutes. The set meal turned out to be a bento box, which is common in such diners. The Hamburg was the typical type you would expect, and the shrimp fry, though slightly cold, was still good. The tamagoyaki didn't need much scrutiny either. Overall, it was a satisfying meal. I'm glad I could write a revisit review!

The inside of the restaurant is nothing special, but it is bright and clean. The service is efficient, with the auntie handling things briskly. A few minutes later, the ordered dishes arrived. There was a hamburger curry and a double meat spaghetti with a sunny-side-up egg on top. The portion size seemed just right. I started with the hamburger curry. The curry sauce was neither good nor bad, just average. The hamburger also lacked any special flavor. The meat spaghetti was next. The spaghetti was cooked to a nice al dente texture. The meat had a taste similar to what you would find in a bento box. It's hard to judge based on just this one dish, but overall, the taste was safe and typical of a casual dining spot. What caught my attention was the variety on the menu. With so many options, it seems like you wouldn't get bored easily even if you visited frequently.

Visit date: August 26, 2019 For dinner on this day, my companion and I visited Iroha. We arrived around 18:30. The parking lot is located next to the restaurant, with space for about 5-6 cars. The surface is a bit bumpy, so cars with low clearance need to be careful. Inside the restaurant, there are 4 counter seats, 3 raised tatami seating for 4 people each, 3 tables for 4 people, 2 tables for 2 people, and one irregular table for 2 people. There was a group of 3 customers in the raised tatami seating area. We chose a table. There were 2 male and 1 female staff members, all of whom were friendly, especially the young male server who provided excellent service. We ordered: - Bravo Rice for 1100 yen The Bravo Rice menu includes "meat and curry with tonkatsu and shrimp fry." In reality, it came with miso soup, salad, and was quite substantial. The meat pasta was slightly firm, and the sauce seemed to be commercial-grade. It had a lot of minced meat. The curry was medium spicy with only one piece of meat and no other ingredients. The tonkatsu was thin but crispy with a slightly tangy sauce. The shrimp fry was decently sized without too much breading. The salad consisted of vegetables and macaroni. The miso soup contained seaweed and green onions and was on the salty side. Overall, the dishes were on the salty side, making it hard to judge. We finished everything and left feeling very full. The portion size was good, and the cost performance was quite high. It's surprising that despite having a wide variety of menu items, they don't offer ramen. Nevertheless, it's a satisfying restaurant even without ramen. Thank you for the meal.

Visit on June 19, 2023! Bravo Rice for 1,200 yen. This dish had an impressive volume and was truly excellent.

I had a deliciously thick pork cutlet.

It's a takeout meal. It's a greedy bowl with pork bowl and meat sauce set with a tonkatsu topping. With the tonkatsu topping, it becomes the Kushiro specialty "Spa-katsu." It has quite a volume and is satisfying to eat. The rich meat sauce is quite tasty. It's like a dream collaboration between Tokachi's specialty pork bowl and Kushiro's specialty Spa-katsu.

During lunchtime, the nearby restaurant was packed with office workers. The staff were working efficiently with smiles on their faces. I ordered the recommended double lunch set for 800 yen, which included pork bowl, meat spaghetti, and a sunny-side-up egg all on one plate. I was completely satisfied and my stomach was full! I had been curious about this restaurant for a while and finally tried it out.

I finished work early on a Saturday night, so I decided to visit a restaurant that had caught my eye. The restaurant is located off Route 38, just past the Shin-Kushiro River when coming from the Tottori direction. As I entered the restaurant around 6 pm, I noticed that there were already two groups of customers inside. The menu had a recommended dish, so I decided to try the Spakatsu Meat. When I ordered it, the owner mentioned it was a large portion, and indeed, when it arrived, it was a sizable dish. The taste was light and different from what I expected, but I enjoyed it without feeling too heavy. As I was eating, I heard the fireworks starting outside, and I wished I had finished my meal sooner to go watch them. Overall, the restaurant had reasonable prices and good value for money. I would like to revisit and try other recommended dishes. Thank you for the meal.

When it comes to Kushiro's spaghetti cutlet, there are many famous shops, but the spaghetti cutlet here is also very, very delicious! Menu: Spaghetti Cutlet Price: 800 yen Noodles: A serving of pasta plus a generous amount of volume! The noodles are chewy and they are coated in meat sauce. Cutlet: The hot and juicy cutlet is thick and satisfying. Meat Sauce: As the name suggests, it is packed with meat, making it a meaty pasta. Impression: The hot spaghetti cutlet was delicious and satisfying!

Lunch... What should I eat... Oh! I haven't been to Iroha in a while, let's go there and eat a lot! So I went there but... it's closed!!!! What a shame! If only I had taken a picture... The pork cutlet and curry were delicious and the portions were generous... I'm so sad! The last time I visited was on the last day (Monday). October 2013 Edition: I've been wanting to go here for a while now. Today's horoscope said, "Eat until you are 80% full," but I completely forgot and ordered the large size at this shop. It was ridiculous... I ordered the "large" size and almost couldn't finish it (maybe due to my pride as a big eater?). I ordered the Special Curry (large) for 950 yen. It was brought to me and oh no! It was a huge portion. The rice alone would be enough for 3-4 people at a regular curry shop. It also came with a fried egg, 2 large shrimp tempura, 2 pork cutlets, salad, and pickles. It was overflowing with toppings. Oh no, I ate too much again. The taste was pretty average, but I enjoyed it. The restaurant was crowded. It seems to be quite popular! The menu includes soba, ramen, curry, tempura, and even Kushiro's soul food, Spakatsu. It's a shop with a variety of dishes.
