In front of the store is a road with quite a bit of traffic, but I hadn't noticed this restaurant until recently when I came to a nearby store for lunch. After returning home, I checked on Tabelog and found out that they serve lunch until 3 pm, and the lunch menu was posted on their website. The menu is reasonably priced. The reviews are mixed and there are no reviews from regular reviewers. The restaurant is located along the North 1st Street Miyanosawa-dori in the Enzan and Miyanomori area of Chuo-ku, Sapporo. For the exact location of the restaurant, please check Tabelog. Around 2 pm on a weekday, I visited for the first time with my usual companion. There were 2 customers in front of us and 3 customers behind us. The interior of the restaurant has 2 tables for 4 people each, and 2 small sunken tables for 4 people. There are also about 7 seats at the counter. The husband makes the sushi and the wife serves the customers, typical of a local sushi restaurant. The menu photos were taken by their son, and although they were slightly blurry, they had a homemade feel. Since I had looked at the website, I made my decision relatively quickly. I ordered the Oiri Sushi (15 pieces) and my companion ordered the Lunch Sushi Upper (10 pieces). Including the 2 orders ahead of us, we waited 16 minutes for the lunch sushi to arrive. We shared it between the two of us. The Lunch Sushi Upper included: scallop, surf clam, yellowtail, sea urchin, cucumber gunkan, salmon, flying fish roe, squid, shrimp, flounder, and miso soup with silk pods, enoki mushrooms, and green onions. It was a standard level for a local sushi restaurant, priced at 1200 yen. The sushi was served on a leaf, giving it a premium feel. Except for the sea urchin, the toppings were of medium quality but had decent flavors. The toppings were cut slightly long and thin. The vinegar in the sushi rice was slightly weak, but not to the point of being a concern. It was my preference, a gentle and rounded sushi without sharp edges, giving a friendly and unpretentious vibe of a local sushi restaurant. It would be nice if a salad was included with the lunch. The Oiri Sushi (15 pieces) included: squid, tuna, yellowtail, salmon, shrimp, flying fish roe, gunkan with egg, octopus, mackerel, and miso soup, priced at 950 yen. It consisted of common toppings, but for 15 pieces at 950 yen, it was an affordable price. The Lunch Sushi Upper (10 pieces) was priced at 650 yen. It's an easy-to-enjoy lunch sushi. The lunch menu also includes sets with soba or tempura, allowing you to customize your order according to your preference. The friendly wife served us and even replaced our tea with a warm one at a good timing. After the meal, I wanted to take photos inside the restaurant and have a chat with the husband to use for my review, but when I asked, I was told that photography inside the restaurant was not allowed, so I left without doing so. Thank you for the meal.
