It's a restaurant. It's a feeling of paying for the dishes, presentation, and skill. The dishes that come in front of your eyes look beautiful! They look delicious! This is Japanese cuisine, I suppose. Especially sashimi and fish dishes are delicious, and I look forward to today's recommended dish. There are also various types of sake, so I end up drinking. This time, I had steamed fish in a pot, with just broth and later added sudachi. It was a place where you can enjoy the dishes and sake slowly.

It was delicious!

In Noboribetsu, Hokkaido, there is a fancy-looking and large restaurant in Wakakusa-cho. The interior is surprisingly beautiful and spacious. The menu offers a wide variety of dishes such as grilled skewers, fried foods, roasted dishes, noodles, rice dishes, hot pots, sashimi, and more. There are also recommended items on a whiteboard. However, the prices overall seemed a bit high. I ordered the "Daisuke-yaki", which is a type of high-quality fish, and a ramen salad. The Daisuke-yaki was soft, fatty, and delicious. The ramen salad was tasty with plenty of scallops, shrimp, and other seafood. The complimentary fried white fish was average. The service was lacking in attentiveness. It was not very crowded when I visited on a weekday, but there were a few regular customers. The food was delicious, and they had a variety of shochu, so I would consider going back if it was closer to where I live.

When I go to Noboribetsu for work, I sometimes stop by during the day. They only have two options for lunch: a tendon lunch for 500 yen and a sushi lunch for 980 yen. I usually order the tendon lunch. It comes with about two types of sashimi and miso soup. The tempura the other day was shrimp, eggplant, green pepper, and shiitake mushrooms, I think. The sashimi was tuna and shrimp. The miso soup had a strong bonito flavor and was delicious. You can get a large serving of tendon for an extra 100 yen, which just increases the amount of rice. Either way, I think it's cheap. It's nice that smoking is allowed. It seems like it turns into more of an izakaya at night, so the restaurant is quite spacious and I've never seen it completely full. You can also add coffee for an additional charge. I will definitely visit again.

This is a must-visit izakaya when stopping by Noboribetsu. It is popular among locals, with a cozy atmosphere, counter seating, private rooms, and ample space. The taste is always consistent. The chawanmushi is truly delicious, with plenty of ingredients like shrimp, chestnut, and scallop for a satisfying meal. It is my favorite chawanmushi to eat at a restaurant. It is delicately sweet, with a rich dashi flavor that I love. One thing that caught my attention is the service. It seems to be very busy, which I understand, but a little more attention to detail in the way orders are taken and spoken to customers could make the dining experience even better. However, I love the food at this restaurant so much that I still want to come back!

The interior of the restaurant has a calm atmosphere with jazz music playing. There are counter seats, table seats with partitions for privacy, and tatami rooms. The lunch menu is simple, offering options like tempura rice bowl and sushi sets. The dinner menu is a mix of izakaya and traditional Japanese cuisine, with attention to detail in presentation. The dishes are reasonably priced and delicious. The servers are all young and cute (perhaps the owner's preference?). The only downside is that beer is served only in glasses, so it may be slightly more expensive for beer drinkers. There is parking available in front and next to the restaurant.
