There are about 10 parking spaces next to the restaurant. Even if one car is parked there, it's okay to park in front of it. Sometimes the staff may ask you to move your car, but let's all get along. The interior of the restaurant has all table seats and counter seats, with a maximum capacity of around 30 people. It was a weekday, but by 11:20 am, it was already full. The menu is quite extensive. I wondered if it would be crowded on a Saturday as I headed there a little before opening time. I arrived just before 11 o'clock, and there were no other cars parked in front of the store. The parking lot in front of the store seemed to be of a moderate size, with space for two cars parked in a row vertically. To avoid having to ask someone to move their car if parked in front of another, I decided to park in the middle of the two spaces. However, a staff member came and pointed out that I could also park in the parking lot of the adjacent hotel, where parking side by side was not an issue. I quickly moved my car and entered the restaurant. I was the first customer as the opening time arrived, but soon other customers started to arrive in groups. I sat at the counter in the back and ordered the "Japanese-style hamburger, size L (270g)" that I was looking forward to. It cost 1380 yen including tax. I hesitated a bit about getting extra rice, but decided against it. (If it was a free extra rice service, I would have probably gone for it...) After ordering, the dish was ready in about 10 minutes. Being a Japanese-style dish, it came with chopsticks instead of a knife and fork. However, the rice was oddly served on a plate. The salad was just a small portion. The side dishes for the hamburger, stir-fried bean sprouts and potatoes with carrots, had a good volume. It felt like they were compensating for the small salad. I started eating, and the rice was just delicious. As for the hamburger, I was expecting it to be juicy, but unfortunately, it was not as juicy as I thought. It seemed like there was a bit too much filler, even though they claimed to use the minimum amount. The hint of bread flavor was noticeable... which might have affected the juiciness. However, it was still tasty! The sauce complemented it well and enhanced the flavor. The 270g portion was indeed a bit small with the regular rice, so I ended up with over a third of the hamburger left and no rice. Well, that's how it goes... I thought to myself as I savored the remaining hamburger. The carrots in the side dish were soft and delicious, and the potatoes were not bad either. By the time I finished eating, the restaurant was almost full. If you go right after opening, you should be able to get in easily.

There were only three parking spots available! I've never seen that before! I happily entered the restaurant. Oh, it looks like they've updated their menu? Well, it's been 5 years after all... The menu items seemed slightly different too. For some reason, on this hot day, I ordered oyakodon and shrimp fry, while my husband got katsudon. We ate with sweat dripping down our faces, but the shrimp fry was delicious with natural shrimp as stated on the menu. The side of spaghetti had a flavor that made the rice go down so easily! It was moist and had a good amount of ketchup, just the way I like it. No matter what I eat here, it never disappoints! If only they would make it non-smoking! I hope for it dearly!!! You can choose between Japanese-style sauce or demi-glace for the hamburg, and scallop or shrimp for the gratin. I chose demi-glace sauce and shrimp for the gratin. After a short wait, the food arrived. There was powdered cheese in a cup that you can sprinkle on top. The hamburg steak had cheese on it, which was delicious. When you bite into it, the juices flow out and it's very tasty, especially with the demi-glace sauce. The shrimp fry with tartar sauce was also delicious and paired well with the dish. The side potatoes, carrots, and snow peas were also tasty, especially the sweet carrots. The gratin was hot and the combination of macaroni texture and juicy shrimp was interesting and tasty. The salad was a bit too cold, probably pre-made. Overall, the food was quite delicious. Just a note, the restaurant is not smoke-free, so if you're sensitive to tobacco smoke, it might bother you. Today, I visited Altair for lunch. I was introduced to this place by a colleague, and upon looking at the menu beforehand, I sensed a bit of a B-class vibe, which got me excited. As soon as the restaurant opened, customers started pouring in one after another. It's definitely a popular spot, just as rumored. I quickly scanned the menu and found some interesting B-class items like rice porridge with fried shrimp, rice porridge with gratin, pork cutlet with meat sauce, and more. But what caught my attention the most was the stew spaghetti, so I ordered that in a large portion. It arrived in about 10 minutes, and let me tell you, it was delicious! The color and texture of the stew were just perfect. The beef was so tender that it easily fell apart with just a fork. The beef stew sauce was rich with the flavor of beef and red wine. Enjoying such a high-quality beef stew with pasta really gave me a taste of B-class gourmet. I have found something truly delicious here.

Today, when I ordered a half size garlic toast, an elderly female staff member asked loudly, "Do you want to order both the regular and half size garlic toast? Which one?" It was unclear if she misheard me or thought it was a set. Before I finished ordering, she abruptly said, "Please wait a moment," and left. I also noticed that the way they placed the plates was a bit rough. Additionally, there were some things that were difficult to address with other customers around (leaving some of the food uneaten...). Despite the good taste, it's a shame that in this day and age, you can still smoke inside the restaurant, and the cigarette smoke can ruin the dining experience. The beef stew was served in about 13 minutes and it was quite a generous portion. It had mushrooms, green beans, potatoes, carrots, and hearty beef neck, making it a satisfying stew that stands well on its own. The salad had delicious dressing, and opting for the large size was the right choice. The garlic toast was also satisfyingly large and tasty. Surprisingly, the turnover of customers was quick, and I didn't have to wait long for my meal. It's a testament to the staff's efficiency. It arrived in about 10 minutes and was quite a generous portion! It came with rice, miso soup, and a small salad. The taste was really delicious! The katsu was well seasoned and piping hot! It had a good amount of volume, so it was great to eat it on top of the rice or on its own. The portion of rice was quite large, and the salad was a nice addition, so I was really satisfied.
