On August 30, 2015, it was a sunny day. Today, I had my first parent-child performance with my son at a music concert. Up until this day, I had been feeling heavy-hearted and irritated with my son, thinking it would be the worst performance ever. After the performance, I felt so low that I was wondering how I would go on living from tomorrow. I wanted to go home and sleep, but my son comforted me, and for the first time in years, I thought my son might be a good kid. We decided to visit a restaurant that we hadn't been to before, within walking distance from our home, considering the information on Tabelog (a restaurant review website) even though my mood was low. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was very nice, with counter seats and sunken kotatsu-style seating. We chose the sunken kotatsu-style seating. Looking at the menu, they didn't have a wide variety of dishes, but it seemed they only serve seasonal items. They had white wine, but they didn't serve wine by the glass, so we opted for beer. The appetizer was miso-glazed eggplant, which my son enjoyed a lot, saying it was very delicious and tender. The rolled omelet was fluffy and lightly sweet, very delicious! The crab cream croquette had a rich white sauce, plenty of crab meat, a creamy texture, and a very good light coating. The grilled eggplant was piping hot. The grilled steak was free of any beefy smell, with buttery fat. The bonito sashimi was delicious without any fishy taste, and the spicy sliced garlic paired well with the bonito. The grilled ayu fish was so delicious that I felt like I could eat as much as I wanted. The bones came off easily, the seasoning was just right, and even the skin was tasty. I ended up eating quite a bit despite not having much of an appetite. Each dish was carefully prepared and delicious. The atmosphere was great, and I would like to visit this restaurant again. Thank you for the wonderful meal! ✿ฺ(๑´ڡ`๑)✿ฺ.
