Asahikawa City, Suehiro 4-jo 3-chome 1-14, popular soup curry restaurant "Curry Queue". I used it for lunch on Sunday. I left home early because I had the image that this place is always crowded. I arrived 7 minutes before the opening at 11:30, and there was already one person waiting. The restaurant opened 5 minutes before the opening, and by then, the place was already full. The system is such that customers leave their phone number and are called when a seat becomes available. I ordered the "Crispy Chicken and Vegetables" (1,380 yen) with "Mountain Soup", spiciness level 7 (very spicy), and "Kurodake" rice (200g). I also ordered a "Mango Lassi" (350 yen). The Mango Lassi was served first. It is a lassi made with Indian origin "Dahi Yogurt". It is easy to drink with a mild acidity and no strong flavor. It is refreshing and goes well with curry. The soup curry was ready in a little over 10 minutes. The Crispy Chicken and Vegetables soup curry had a soup base made with chicken and seafood, rich in flavor and umami. The spiciness level 7 was enjoyable (but maybe even level 8 would have been fine). The ingredients included pumpkin, eggplant, okra, broccoli, asparagus, lotus root, mizuna, potatoes, cabbage, among others. The fried pumpkin, lotus root, and broccoli were particularly delicious. The chicken leg, when ordered crispy, is served with rice. The outside was crispy while the inside was quite tender, easily coming off the bone. I was very satisfied with both the soup and the ingredients. I'm glad I went early knowing that it gets crowded. It was my first visit, but the soup curry was definitely worth the popularity!

Soup Curry with Vienna Sausage and Vegetables for ¥1380. On weekdays, you can add toppings like broccoli. Located on the outskirts of Machihiro, this soup curry restaurant uses a unique variety of spices and prepares the vegetables well, resulting in delicious flavors. The soup is light, making it easy to finish. The fried broccoli, in particular, is exquisite.

Chappytsum is enjoying a slow summer vacation in 2022. Since Tarou is not at kindergarten, the couple decided to have soup curry together without any kids around. It can be hard to go to a soup curry restaurant with small children, right? So, they chose "Curry Q" for their meal. It is located right across from the bookstore they often visit, "Tomikido Suehiro Store." In the past, they used to frequent a bookstore inside Harumitsu Ion, which was within walking distance of their home. However, Harumitsu Ion closed at the end of February 2022, so now they have to go to either "Tomikido Suehiro Store" or a bookstore inside Nishi Ion, which is not as well-stocked. Around 11:40 AM, they entered the restaurant and found about four other groups of customers already there. The restaurant has Wi-Fi available. However, after ordering, they had to wait for a long time for their food to arrive. With limited topics to talk about and growing impatience due to the long wait, the couple found themselves in an awkward situation as time passed. Finally, after an hour, their meal was served. They ordered the "Crispy Chicken" with Maunten soup, spice level 8, black rice (200g), and added lotus root for 1180 yen (tax included) as part of the lunchtime service. The soup was delicious, with a light yet flavorful broth. The vegetables were tasty overall. However, the chicken was not crispy as expected, but rather dry. Despite being generally delicious, making customers wait for an hour is unacceptable.

There is no parking lot at this shop, so it was hard to visit, but I was curious so I mustered up the courage to enter. I had to wait for 30 minutes before entering Illusion, so I decided to look around and do some shopping. When I received a call and entered, the first thing brought to me was "Pickles" as expected. My husband chose the chicken, so I went for something different. - Jerk Chicken 1200 yen Soup: Mountain (light chicken and seafood) Spiciness: 7th level (very spicy) Rice: Black (200g) I've had Jerk Chicken a few times before, and each shop has its own unique taste, right? This one has a strong spice flavor. I'm not sure which spice it is, but it's like incense. The boiled egg was nice and gooey. The curry ingredients include Jerk Chicken, potatoes, carrots, bell peppers, eggplant, pumpkin, and cabbage. The vegetables have a good texture with just the right amount of firmness. The soup has a slightly stronger acidity than I prefer. Next time, I might try the cheaper curry with chicken or vegetables and use the savings to try the back spicy menu item of pesticide-free chili peppers. However, there seem to be many options, so I'm not sure which one is best.

I have been to a recommended soup curry restaurant several times, but recently every time I try to go, it's their regular holiday. Finally, I was able to go. As always, the chicken was tender and the spiciness level was just right for me. The meat was deliciously tender and the vegetables were also tasty. I was so happy to be able to eat there again after a long time, even though I ended up eating too much and feeling full. It was a satisfying experience. I would like to try the braised pork next time.

Today's lunch was at Curry Queue, where I had soup curry. The soup was thin but flavorful, with a taste I really enjoyed. The spiciness level was at 6, giving it a nice kick that made me sweat a little. The pork belly was tender and there were two large pieces in the curry. The vegetables included potatoes, carrots, eggplant, bell peppers, cabbage, and pumpkin.

I wanted to try a place other than Furano-ya, so I did some research and found this place. It looked delicious. I happened to go on a Saturday around 2 pm, a bit off peak, but still quite busy. It's a popular spot. You can enter with your shoes on, which I remembered. There are only 3 table seats and the rest is counter seating. Maybe because it's a small place? The inside of the restaurant is extremely hot! I only wore a long T-shirt. The ventilation was not great. The person in the kitchen had dreadlocks. The restaurant played reggae music and had photos of Bob Marley. It looked really hot in there. Anyway, since it was my first time, I thought I'd go with the normal option. I ordered the crispy chicken for ¥980. I usually go for medium spiciness, but today I decided to try level 6. It took about 20 minutes, probably because it was crowded. The visual presentation was great! The crispy chicken consisted of deep-fried chicken legs. They were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The vegetables were also large and delicious. However, the curry was a bit too spicy for me! I couldn't stop sweating. The cost performance was good and the taste was also good. What bothered me was that everything was quite slow-paced. Both the kitchen and the service were slow. It was frustrating to watch. Also, in such a small restaurant, smoking was allowed. Seriously, in this day and age? It was quite tough being next to a girl who was smoking. I really hope they make it a non-smoking place.

Spice replenishment! I love Curry Queue's soup curry in Asahikawa too. Today, I had the chicken soup curry with simmered chicken for 980 yen. I opted for the black coconut soup base for an extra 50 yen and chose spice level 6. The rice was cumin rice from Shirakun-dake for an additional 100 yen. You can really feel the spices entering your body! It was rich and delicious. The chicken was tender and the black coconut soup made me sweat while eating. However, at spice level 6, I felt it was a bit lacking, so I added some extra spice powder from the table. It enhanced the flavor and made it even more delicious. I experienced the phenomenon of wanting more soup. The free pickles didn't quite match the soup curry, but after resetting my palate with them, the soup tasted even better. The cumin rice was a bit sweet for my liking. The usual 200g of Shirakun-dake rice with a squeeze of lemon is still the best. Maybe I'll try spice level 8 next time. Thank you for the meal. It's a part of my rotation now.

I like the soup curry here. It's delicious. I ordered the Chicken Stew with mild spiciness since I can't handle spicy food. (laughs) I tried the cumin rice this time. I like the chicken, vegetables, and soup here. They also have manga to read while waiting for the food. I will definitely come back again.

On a regular day off, I went to Curry Q in Suehiro for a curry lunch. I arrived a bit late, around 12 o'clock, and found only two seats available at the counter. It's a popular place! I looked at the menu and my hunger hit me hard. I ordered the braised pork and vegetable curry with black soup, spice level 5, and cumin rice for 1300 yen. The lunch came with a complimentary iced coffee, which was rich and delicious. I had to wait for about 30-35 minutes, but it was worth it. The soup curry arrived with a wonderful aroma and beautiful presentation. The soup was flavorful and rich, with plenty of vegetables and tender braised pork. It was a blissful moment. When I paid, reality hit me with a bill of 1480 yen, but it was definitely worth it. I also found out about the option for extra toppings next time, and I'm excited to try it out. Overall, it was a delightful experience.

This is Karelog {041}, an Alpine-style curry restaurant (not really). This time, I ordered the vegetable curry. It had deep-fried burdock root that resembled a coniferous forest, and the soup was Maunten spiciness level 6, served with Shirane-dake rice. In soup curry, I often struggle with the spiciness that makes my throat burn and cough, so I was worried about bothering others. But it was okay. The soup was delicious, but the highlight was the cumin rice, which was fantastic! I had never realized how tasty it could be. It was delicious even before adding the lemon. It was spicy and made me sweat a lot, but it was still delicious. It felt like I was climbing a mountain. The spiciness could be a bit higher, and I would like to try different soup variations. That's all! ^^

I arrived just in time for the opening and entered the restaurant, but it was full within a few minutes. You can choose the type of soup and spiciness level. Since it was my first time, I ordered the standard level of spiciness, which was a 5. I think I could handle a bit more spiciness. The aroma of the spices, richness, and umami made me want to come back again. Next time, I would like to try a different menu.

(I went alone. Sorry for looking so casual.) ✲Service✲ There was nothing to be concerned about. The staff was polite and straightforward, which I liked. ✲Food✲ The cumin rice was delicious. It was helpful to be able to choose the amount of rice. The soup curry was on the richer side and tasted good. I could tell that a lot of effort went into it, but I didn't see any unique features that would make me say, "I have to come back here!" like with other popular soup curry restaurants. I still broke a sweat at spice level 6, so maybe I'll go for level 7 or higher next time. ✲Atmosphere✲ I felt at ease seeing other solo diners. Having wifi was a nice touch. It got a bit crowded later on, but they had magazines to read, so I could enjoy my meal at a leisurely pace.

Visit date March 27th (Wednesday) Today, I am working in Suehiro area again. I tried to visit yesterday but it was closed, so I'm trying again today. I arrived a little after 12:30 pm, but it was full so I wrote my name and phone number on the reservation sheet and waited in my car. Since there is a Tomikido bookstore across the street, I bought a refill for my planner and waited for a while. After about 30 minutes, I got a call. While waiting, I decided on my order: braised pork and vegetables, spiciness level 7, and black rice (200g). The waitress asked if level 7 spiciness was okay, saying it was quite spicy, but based on the reviews I read, I decided to go with level 7. After placing my order, more customers arrived, but luckily I was the second to last person to get rice before they ran out. It was a close call. After about 30 minutes, my food arrived! The restaurant was filled with the aroma of spices, stimulating my appetite. I haven't felt hungry lately, but now I was starving! I quickly took a photo and finished my meal in no time. I'm not a big fan of soup curry, but the one here was delicious with a rich flavor. The braised pork was tender and flavorful. The lunchtime topping service included extra broccoli and the fried food was cooked just right. I am already full. I should have ordered less rice. I forgot to eat the Inode-san (a type of food) that I ordered! I will definitely come back next time to try it. Another delicious lunch today. Thank you for the meal.

Recently, I've been curious about soup curry, even though I'm not a big fan of it. I wanted to confirm something, so I've been searching for it. As I was browsing through Tabelog (a restaurant review website), I noticed that everyone gave it high ratings. The place is close to a restaurant called "Biyoin." I wondered if there was a soup curry restaurant nearby. Let's go check it out! Following the instructions from the car navigation system, I accidentally passed by the first time. After circling around and driving a bit suspiciously, I finally reached the restaurant. When I entered, the place was almost full. It was a bit surprising considering the appearance of the restaurant. They said they would inform me when a table was available, so I decided to wait in the car, which was much better than waiting inside. About 20 minutes later, the spicy and appetizing aroma inside the restaurant had me craving for food. I decided to order the Chicken curry for 980 yen, with additional toppings like half-cooked egg, spiced soup, spice level 7, and cumin rice. The ordering process was becoming clearer to me. The cumin rice was delicious, and I was excited as I love cumin. The aroma was promising. The soup had a rich and complex flavor with a good depth. The crispy chicken was not greasy and had a nice crunch. It was cooked perfectly and tender. The soft cartilage in the joints was also tender, maybe it was simmered in the soup. As usual, I started by eating some vegetables and reducing the rice. Towards the middle and end, I prepared the curry to be spoonable. I added the shredded chicken and enjoyed the curry until the last bite. The lack of excessive saltiness made it enjoyable till the end. It must be popular for a reason. The only downside was the cigarette smoke that drifted in during the meal. It was a shame that it was not a non-smoking environment.

Limited time offer of fresh scorpion peppers! They have been available since November when I visited, and they are still there. It's a limited time offer so get it soon! Topped with fresh scorpion peppers on top of the scorpion pizza (*´艸`). When I asked the staff if they could make it, they happily agreed, even though they seemed a bit surprised by the request. As they started chopping up the fresh scorpion peppers, the owner of the shop began to breathe heavily. From people with low tolerance to spiciness, there were runny noses and coughing fits. It felt like tear gas was in the air. By the time the spiciness reached the guy at the far end of the hall, I started to feel a bit embarrassed and sorry. But the staff warmly (? ) responded to the situation with a smile. The spiciness was amazing! The freshness of the fresh peppers was outstanding! For those who love spicy food, I highly recommend trying it (* >ω<). The only problem here is that the portion is generous, but it's so delicious that you can't help but add more toppings. I had to power through the last quarter with determination. It's quite popular, so make sure to go with some extra time on your hands.
