It's the title of a B'z song, isn't it?! "I know we fit together perfectly♪" I opened a new restaurant on a certain day in March 2023 that doesn't hurt just the noodles. It's frustrating that it's not registered...

On a certain weekday during the Golden Week holiday period, I visited a ramen restaurant located in Minami Ward, along the 12th street, because its name was interesting. The parking lot has space for 2 cars, and any more than that requires some maneuvering. The interior of the restaurant used to be a ramen shop that I had visited before, and it seemed like they reduced the number of seats, with only 3 counter seats and 2 tables. Japanese pop music was playing in the background. I decided to try the "Bestseller in the Restaurant" dish, which was the "Shoyu-Impact Pork Ramen (900 yen)." Taking a bite, I found the noodles to be thick and curly, with a chewy and smooth texture that almost felt like pasta. The red soup looked a bit spicy, with oil floating on the surface, and when I tasted it, it had a strong and impactful flavor with a hint of something like clams, giving it a subtle Japanese touch. The lingering spiciness and the excellent base of the soup made it easy to slurp up the noodles. The toppings included stir-fried bean sprouts and onions, green onions, slightly spicy bonito flakes, light and large menma, nori seaweed, and thinly sliced pork shoulder chashu that resembled ham. Overall, I enjoyed a delicious bowl of ramen with tasty noodles and well-crafted soup. However, I noticed that the restaurant often had sudden closures or changes in operating hours, so I hope they can work on maintaining consistency to avoid disappointing customers who look forward to visiting. Thank you for the meal.

Hello, this time I visited a shop with a long name, "I Won't Hurt Noodles, but I Ate Ramen Heartily After 2:00 PM Before Going to a Japanese Restaurant at 5:30 PM." It was delicious though. Open from March 16, 2023, at AEON Supercenter Ishikari Ryokuendai store, "Ramen Michinaka Hizakurige." It is a branch of the shop owned by Mr. Yukki Kaneko, the older brother of EXIT's Kaneko. When I visited, it was a one-man operation, so it seemed quite challenging. The shop is located at 1F, Nishida Building, 2-1-31 Kawaori 12-jo, Minami-ku, Sapporo, Hokkaido. Operating hours are 11:00-14:30 and 17:00-21:00. My rating criteria: 4.0 and above - Impressed, will definitely visit again. 3.5-3.9 - Want to revisit. 3.0-3.5 - Delicious. Below 3.0 - No need to revisit. Thank you for the meal! ❣️

A new ramen shop has opened within walking distance! It's located inside the premises of Lucky Kawazoi shop at 1-1 Kawasoi 12-jo, Minami-ku. It used to be the location of Menya 'Sho'. This is the third branch of "Raamen Michinori Hizikurige" in Ishikari, owned by EXIT's older brother. I tried the "Spicy Miso Meat Ramen" and it was delicious with a punchy flavor. The thick soup, flat noodles, and meat miso combination was amazing! I felt like adding rice to the soup after finishing the noodles! There are other interesting menu items like "Gentle Soy Sauce" and "Tai Dashi Sol 'T'", so I'll definitely be coming back!

I noticed that the large sign of Menya Shou has changed as I often pass through this area for work. The new name is an homage to the single title of B'z, "Ai no mama ni wagamama ni, boku wa men dake wo kizutsukenai." It has a strong impact, but the name is quite long, so I wonder what people will say when they abbreviate it. The sign features anime characters in a deformed version of the band, with five members - a vocalist, guitarist, bassist, drummer, and keyboardist, using a Flying V guitar instead of a Les Paul. It doesn't seem like they were conscious of B'z when designing this. I checked the menu on Tabelog before visiting. The specialty of the house is a soup base made from seafood and pork bones. Today, I ordered the following: - Shoyu Ramen "Chou Impaku Buta" (Soy Sauce Ramen 900 yen) - Chahan (Fried Rice 500 yen) The fried rice was served first, priced at 500 yen, it is quite affordable and has a moderate volume between a regular and half size, perfect for those who want to eat both ramen and fried rice but find the regular size too much. The fried rice has a slightly strong soy sauce flavor and a moist and fragrant taste. It's quite to my liking. The ramen soup is based on bonito and pork bones, with bonito being the most prominent, giving it a slightly Japanese flavor. The noodles were fantastic, quite thick flat noodles with a curly texture. When I asked the staff about the noodles, they mentioned that they use the noodles for tsukemen from Sagamiya. I'll come back next time to try the miso-based ramen. Thank you for the meal.

Here it is - "This place used to be the noodle shop 'Sho', which I visited several times before. I heard that a new restaurant has recently opened here. The name is quite unusual, isn't it? I can't tell if they are open from the national highway because there is no curtain in front of the store, just a sign saying 'Open'. The interior of the restaurant hasn't changed much from the 'Sho' days. I sat at the short L-shaped counter and ordered the 'Gentle Soy Sauce' and 'Rice'. Another customer came in later, and the owner seemed a bit panicked. I felt right away that my vibes don't match with this place. The noodles are like Korean instant ramen, they don't absorb the soup at all. The 'Gentle Soy Sauce' has a strong fish powder aroma, but it's definitely fish powder, not a seafood broth. The bean sprouts and onions are not stir-fried, just boiled vegetables. The trendy thin, slightly pink char siu is more like ham in texture. The order for 'Rice' was not processed, but I won't mention it since they probably won't bring it now. The small amount of wheat gluten is unnecessary. If the soup was lighter, the wheat gluten would have a better role. I wonder if the owner is actually the operator, with a name like that, it feels like a company's marketing gimmick. They might retreat in a few months. Hmm, the 'Sho' noodle shop was so much better. I blame myself for coming around here on Big Lotus's day off. Well, if the compatibility is this bad, there won't be a second visit, right?"

This is a place in Minami Ward, located next to the Lucky Kawazoi store in 12-2 Kawazoi, but for the exact location, as always, please check the map on Tabelog. About a month ago, a unique restaurant with an interesting name opened, and I was curious about it, so I finally visited the place. I parked my car in the front parking lot and entered the restaurant. I sat at a table and looked at the menu. This time, I ordered the "Sea Bream Dashi Salt Ramen" and waited for it to be served. It arrived in about 6-7 minutes, and it looked like a lively ramen. First, I tried the soup, which had a slightly cloudy appearance and a light seafood broth flavor that was easy to enjoy, but personally, I found it a bit salty. Next, the noodles were medium-thick, curly noodles that seemed to overpower the soup a bit. Lastly, the toppings included a slice of low-temperature cooked chashu, sautéed bean sprouts and onions, menma, fu, shredded seaweed, and two types of chopped green onions. The restaurant's name and menu names are unique, but the ramen itself could be improved by simplifying it a bit.

If you are over 40, you may find the name of this ramen shop amusing, but I couldn't quite warm up to it. The trend of giving ramen shops flashy names without intending to keep them running for long doesn't sit well with me. The "T" in the name stands for Taishio, and their standard Taishio salt soup ramen costs 800 yen. The flavor of the Taishio broth is solid, but a bit rough around the edges. The saltiness is sharp. The noodles are thick and curly, which is fine, but I think thinner noodles would be a better match for the Taishio broth in terms of soup absorption. The soup was a bit lukewarm, maybe it was just a one-time thing. The thick pieces of dried seaweed go well with the soup, but the amount seemed unbalanced for the dish. Towards the end, it turned into a seaweed-heavy ramen. The cook asked me in a subdued manner how I found the saltiness, which was a nice touch.

I ordered the "Yasashime" soy sauce ramen for 800 yen. The restaurant had two tables for four people each and six counter seats. The ramen was delicious, with curly noodles that had a good wheat aroma and texture. Next time, I'll ask about the noodles.
