Visited "De Tout Pain de Sucre Ekimarche Shin-Osaka Store" in Shin-Osaka. This bakery is located within the JR line at Shin-Osaka Station, which is the Osaka station for the Tokaido Shinkansen. The station is bustling with people as always. The bakery is located in a section called "Ekimarche" within the station, with its own spacious area. The interior gives off a natural vibe, with a focus on quality materials. There are various types of bread displayed, making it hard to choose. I paid with QUICPay and took my purchases home. Here are my thoughts on the bread I bought:
- Rich Cream Pan (320 yen tax included): The name suggests luxury, and the cream pan truly lives up to it. The cream was deliciously sweet and flavorful, complementing the soft bread perfectly. A truly rich and delicious cream pan.
- Fromage (260 yen tax included): A bread with a mix of cream cheese and homemade custard cream. The cream cheese flavor stood out, with a nice balance of sweetness and acidity. A sophisticated bread for adults.
- Vanilla Melon Pan (320 yen tax included): A melon pan with a strong vanilla flavor. The cookie dough was plentiful, making it a perfect size without the usual melon pan problem. Just the right size and delicious.
- Cottage Cheese and Green Curry Focaccia (330 yen tax included): Focaccia topped with generous green curry. The curry had an adult-like taste, and the bacon added a nice touch. Easy to eat and enjoyable.
All the bread was delicious, but the standout for me was the cream pan, which was truly exceptional. I highly recommend trying it out when you have the chance, especially before boarding the Shinkansen. It was a delightful experience, and I will definitely be back. Thank you for the delicious bread.

On this day, I purchased dinner at "De Tutt Pandouce" located inside Shin-Osaka Station. I arrived at the shop around 18:30 and there were still plenty of items to choose from. I tried the Boob Bread, Amande, and Croissant O Zamondo. First, I tried the Boob Bread. It had a fluffy and chewy texture like focaccia with a hint of salt and cheese aroma. The name is unique, but the taste is not particularly distinctive, just a normal bread. It would probably taste better dipped in white sauce. Next was the Amande. It was delicious with a crunchy almond crush, sweet almond cream, and a rich rum aroma. It tasted more like a dessert than bread, perfect for a snack at 3 o'clock. Lastly, the Croissant O Zamondo. It had a bitter crust and a sweet almond cream that complemented each other, creating a sophisticated flavor. The texture was moist and crispy, with a slightly heavy chew. It was tasty, but I remember it being more delicious when I had it at the main store, with a richer butter and almond cream flavor. Maybe it was because it had been sitting for a while after being made? Although I don't visit often due to its location inside the station, I think it's a convenient shop when using Shin-Osaka Station. Thank you for the meal.

In the New Osaka Station, there is a bakery with 100 types of bread. Since the renovation of New Osaka Station, there are many convenient shops. I ordered a Pinion and a Croque Monsieur half size for about 550 yen. The Pinion is a crispy bread with nuts on a croissant dough. The sweet aroma of the croissant goes well with it and it is delicious. It is small in size, so it is just right for a small hunger. The Croque Monsieur has a creamy white sauce inside that melts smoothly, and it goes well with the bread. It is a convenient shop to use when traveling on the Shinkansen.

I had the bread I bought on the Shinkansen heading to Tokyo for breakfast. I had sweet bread, mushroom bread, and croissant. The mushroom bread had a chewy texture and went well with the mushrooms. The croissant was more fluffy than crispy. I also bought lemon cake as a souvenir! Thank you for the meal!

I stopped by before taking the Shinkansen! There are several stores in Osaka and I have been to different ones, but this store is my first time. They have a wide variety of breads, each one is small in size. The taste is average. (Maybe I've been to too many famous bakeries and my taste buds have become picky.. just my personal opinion). The bread is soft and has a natural flavor.

In Osaka, there are four Pandu's stores, including this one. Before returning to Tokyo, I bought butter cakes from Pandu's at Shin-Osaka Station for a snack on the Shinkansen. I purchased two types: one made with stone-ground whole wheat flour and the other with black tea. The cakes were light and fluffy yet moist, and overall, it's a delicious shop that offers more than just bread.

There is a bakery inside JR Shin-Osaka Station. I bought some bread before heading back to Osaka. The store offers many bread options with vegetables as the main ingredient, and there are plenty of vegetarian-friendly menu items. I bought a sweet potato bread and an olive bread. Both were delicious with a good combination of wheat.

On Friday evening, before boarding the Shinkansen, I felt a little hungry so I visited this shop inside the station. Even in the evening, there were many types of bread available and the shop was bustling. I had a red tea cream bun, and the cream was very delicious.

I used this place for the second time. The last time was over a year ago, I believe. Since the ratings on Tabelog were very high, I was excited to try their vegetable galettes, but the vegetables on top were soggy and didn't taste good. Today, I bought two types of Chapata sandwiches and an adult curry bread. The Chapata sandwiches were quite expensive at 480 yen each, but they had very little filling (about 50% less than PAUL, which costs an additional 200 yen) and the filling didn't have much flavor. Chapata bread is lighter compared to baguettes or croissants, so the bread itself has a mild taste and the filling feels like just an accompaniment. Therefore, I felt that the sandwiches were not satisfying for the price. The adult curry bread, on the other hand, had a delicious curry flavor with a good amount of spices and herbs.

In Kansai, there are many stores of the famous bakery Panduce, which also supplies bread to top restaurants. I purchased the "Thick-cut Bacon and Focaccia Sandwich with Fresh Egg" for 480 yen at the one in Shin-Osaka. I had high expectations since I enjoyed the bread at the restaurant, but this one was not quite to my liking. The rare bacon, thin yellow yolk resembling a fresh egg, and slightly dry focaccia left me with a mixed impression. I will try a different bread next time! Thank you for the meal~♪

On my way back from Shin-Osaka, I was thinking about what souvenir to get for my family and came across this shop while checking Tabelog. It was inside the ticket gate, so I looked around before entering and immediately spotted the shop's green sign. Usually, I buy one deli bread and one pastry bread, but lately we've had a lot of guests and have been enjoying delicious treats, so I decided to choose between the two this time. I saw a chestnut croissant and my child's favorite pain au chocolat, so I quickly decided on the pastry bread. The croissant was filled with chunks of chestnut and had a strong chestnut flavor, and the croissant dough was nice and crispy! The bread ice cream that was sold out also caught my eye! My youngest said they wanted the chestnut croissant, so we split it. It was a delicious bread with a good amount of chestnut and a great chestnut flavor. The croissant dough was also crispy! I'll definitely buy more next time! I'm looking forward to visiting Shin-Osaka station again.

Popular bakery in the east side of the station, with a branch inside the station. Had about 10 minutes before catching the Shinkansen, so stopped by a store called "Station Marche" near the local train gates. The croissant for 390 yen was the most popular according to the sign, so I also got a walnut bread for 190 yen and a bacon epi for 390 yen. The croissant was rich in butter, had a good texture, and tasted delicious. It can be a bit rushed to shop with limited time before catching the Shinkansen. Thank you for the meal.

I visited the store around 7:45 AM, even though it opens at 7:30 AM, and it seemed like the variety of items would increase later. I bought a croissant for 300 yen, which had a nice buttery aroma and a crispy texture, and a brioche with olives and cream cheese for 320 yen, which had a good balance of olive bitterness and cream cheese. The paper bag cost 10 yen extra. The croissant was light and delicious, I could easily have another one. The brioche had a great texture, fluffy and crispy, and made me crave wine. This is a place I would like to visit again for a treat of delicious bread.

The flight was cancelled, so I switched to the Shinkansen. I thought about what to buy as a souvenir for my wife, and found a bakery with a hundred famous shops in Osaka Station. I decided to buy some bread there! It was called Ekimarche, but it wasn't outside the ticket gate. I only had 7 minutes left until departure! I was about to give up, but then I found Ekimarche inside the JR station, but it was too big to find the bakery. Just when I was about to give up, I found a map nearby. Finally, I found it with 4 minutes left! I decided to buy whatever caught my eye. I bought the following: - Mango Rustic - Fruit Rustic - Fromage The names were probably something like that. I didn't take any photos inside the store, just packed the bread in a bag in a hurry, passed through the Shinkansen ticket gate, and the train was already there. I jumped on just in time. ⊂(・∀・)つ When I got home, I ate the bread the next morning. - Mango Rustic: You can really taste a lot of mango. The dough is chewy, with a strong sweetness and acidity. - Fruit Rustic: The scent of dried fruits is very nice. The dough is chewy with a good texture. The dough has less moisture than the Mango Rustic. - Fromage: Moist custard with nuts. The dough is moist and flavorful. Both Rustics were very good. The intensity of the flavor and the chewiness of the dough were excellent! When reheated, the flavor expands again, which is interesting. I only bought sweet bread because I was in a hurry, so next time I'll buy some savory ones. Thank you for the meal.

I came to Shin-Osaka Station and found this bakery with a hundred famous stores. I was looking for the rich cream pan that I often see good reviews about. - The rich cream pan does have a strong vanilla bean flavor and tastes rich. - The curry pan is definitely delicious with a sweet dough. - The pine nut cream pan is delicious with a quite sweet taste. - The fromage pan was crispy with plenty of almonds and was delicious.

Visit around 12:30 on a regular day.
- Basil Focaccia ¥300: "Delicious semi-dried tomatoes and mozzarella on basil focaccia. The thin green bread dough with cheese and tomato sauce. The tomato sauce has bacon or something in it, very tasty!
- Fromage ¥280: "Cream cheese and homemade custard cream go well with croissant dough. Very popular! Too many unnecessary lumps, difficult to eat and crumbles a lot, and most importantly, the cheese flavor is reduced. What a waste..."

Today, I bought bread here. I got a curry bread to go. I used to go to the main store occasionally, but it's been a while since I last purchased. The baked curry bread was quite spicy and delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I was curious about the reviews and came to buy some bread. The bread here costs around ¥300 per piece, which was a bit surprising to me due to the high price. I was able to buy a rich cream bread even in the evening. There seems to be a variety of other types of bread as well. Now, taking a bite of the cream bread. You can tell by just one bite. This is delicious! Thank you for the meal.

On the way back from a trip to Shirahama in Nanki, I used this bakery at JR Shin-Osaka Station called "Hyakumeiten." The concept of "Panduce" combines the French word "le pain" and the English word "produce" to create a new word that aims to explore new possibilities for bread by focusing on the basics while changing perspectives from various angles. The location was very convenient and despite being at the peak of summer vacation crowds, the bakery was constantly filled with customers. In this bustling atmosphere, I purchased the following two items:
- Potato and Crispy Bacon Galette (390 yen): A galette topped with potatoes and crispy bacon. The fluffy potatoes were sweet and the combination of the bacon's saltiness and the flavor of the whole wheat 100% dough was exquisite.
- Frill (270 yen): A pastry made by spreading almond cream on croissant dough, topping it with raspberries like a flower (frill), and baking it, then drizzling it with Kirsch syrup after baking. The sweet and sour raspberries paired with almond cream on croissant dough was a winning combination, although the only downside was the small size of the pastry. Despite being small and a bit pricey, the bakery's convenient location and delicious taste left me feeling satisfied. Thank you for the meal.

Killing time during a Shinkansen transfer at Shin-Osaka station. I knew there were many restaurants here, but I never noticed this one before. The vegetable sandwich had a small inventory, maybe sold out during lunchtime. The meat sandwich was impressive with its generous portion and delicious taste. Overall, it was a well-balanced sandwich. Thank you for the meal!

Family trip to Osaka. On the last day, bought breakfast at Shin-Osaka while waiting for the Shinkansen the next morning. The pastries were small in size. Following our usual routine, we bought a croissant, pain au chocolat, walnut bread, and bacon epi. The croissant was crispy but seemed to lack butter. The bacon epi was chewy, but the bacon was a bit small. Thank you for the meal.
