【Takeout】Located in the upper Horo district of Kurisawa-cho in the mountains of Iwamizawa City, this vegetable stand offers fresh produce for sale. The stand is situated near Iwamizawa Greenland along Route 30 (Mikasa-Kuriyama Line), about 400 meters from the intersection with the Yubari-Iwamizawa Line. Visited again at 1:00 PM on September 19, 2021, after enjoying all-you-can-eat shabu-shabu at Sherasco and feeling full. I stopped by two nearby vegetable stands, and this one had a display of various mushrooms. I bought a bag of green peppers for 100 yen and tried them out. They were incredibly fresh, with a generous amount and didn't wilt quickly like store-bought ones. The flavor was rich, slightly bitter, with a thick texture and refreshing aroma. I also purchased a bundle of catnip for 100 yen, but when I tried to smell it at home, I didn't get the expected reaction. Contrary to the Catnip Principle, Mogutan did not turn into a "nyaah" upon smelling the catnip. This proves that Mogutan is not a member of the feline species. Proof of non-feline status confirmed.
