I recently visited the newly opened Kushi Katsu Tanaka chain in Riejō after a long time. The young staff had lively voices and the atmosphere was bright. The taste of the kushi katsu was just average, but I found it a bit pricey, and there weren’t many side dishes available, which made it feel somewhat expensive to be satisfied. However, I think it’s a great place to enjoy drinks during happy hour or with a drink pass, have a few snacks, and chat with friends since it creates a fun and lively environment.

I finally visited Kushikatsu Tanaka that I had been curious about. The staff were lively and gave clear explanations. Since it was my first time, I ordered an 8-piece set and squid tempura. The set included pork, beef, quail eggs, pickled ginger, asparagus, shrimp, onion, and lotus root, if I remember correctly. While it wasn't outstanding, it was a good level for a casual meal. During happy hour, the Jim Beam highball was just 99 yen, so I ordered another one.

After several years, I visited "Kushikatsu Tanaka" again. I was feeling a bit hungry, so I decided to stop by, but overall, my impression remains "average." If you take a child with you, there's currently a free takoyaki (octopus balls) set available. I think this is a great system because kids enjoy making them. Additionally, there's also a free gacha (capsule toy) that you can spin once. That part was definitely good.

The long-awaited Kushi Katsu Tanaka has opened at Rijō Station! I've been looking forward to this, and the taste remains delicious. Personally, I love the onions. Being a drinker, I enjoy ordering cod roe and savoring it slowly while washing it down with alcohol—it's pure bliss. I believe it's common for all stores, but it's a great place to take kids as they can enjoy takoyaki, ice cream, and play rock-paper-scissors. Since it's a newly opened store, it's interesting to see a mix of newcomers and skilled staff possibly brought in from other stores or headquarters. I definitely want to go back. Oh, and the fried chicken is incredibly tasty!

I visited "Kushi Katsu Tanaka," located about a 2-minute walk from Mizue Station on the Toei Shinjuku Line. This chain specializing in skewered cutlets opened earlier this year. I arrived just after 6 PM, and it was almost full. There were a few empty counter seats, so I took one of those. I ordered an assorted platter of skewered cutlets, sliced onions, pickled plum cucumbers, and more. Everything was quite delicious and served promptly, and the service was good as well. However, it's just my personal preference, but I could do without the cabbage as a starter! Overall, it was a pleasant experience, so I might visit again. Thank you for the meal!

This newly opened restaurant offers only a 5-piece skewered cutlet takeout option due to the upcoming opening. I was able to get in at just the right time, but it was quite crowded. I felt that the service speed was a bit slow.
