I went on a two-night, three-day solo trip to Hokkaido in summer. On the second day, I joined a day bus tour to Furano and Biei, and the first stop was the famous lavender fields at Farm Tomita. Unfortunately, the lavender season had ended in July, so I couldn't see the flowers. The tour guide mentioned that it's a must to eat one soft serve ice cream a day when in Hokkaido, and recommended trying the lavender soft serve here. I tried the Lavender Soft Serve Ice Cream (cone) for 350 yen. It tasted just like lavender, a unique flavor worth trying. The 350 yen price was reasonable. Oh, the story about the mandatory daily soft serve ice cream was just a joke. Bon appétit!

When I visited a lavender field, I was drawn to the visual impact and decided to order one. It has a lavender color and a striking appearance, but the taste is more towards milk vanilla and not very strong in lavender scent. On the flip side, it was not too distinctive and easy to eat. Well, as soft serve goes, it's neither good nor bad... just average. It's worth trying once, but I'm satisfied and don't feel the need to have it again.

Visited the famous lavender farm "Farm Tomita" and ordered lavender soft serve ice cream at the on-site shop called Petit Lune. Enjoyed it while looking at the vast fields of lavender and feeling relaxed. Inside the farm, there is a photo gallery and a large distillation machine for lavender oil. Hand sanitizers with lavender scent are placed throughout the farm, leaving your hands smelling like lavender.

I visited Farm Tomita at the Lavender Field Station in Nakafurano! I stopped by various shops. The lavender is beautiful everywhere, but of course, food is also important, right? I took photos, ate, and saved them, but there are some places with no reviews even though they are registered. So, I should leave a review! First, "Petit Rene". The weather was a bit cloudy, but many families and couples visited. It felt a bit crowded, but there was a nice breeze. Rene also has a cafe with many reviews. Petit Rene. The main item is soft-serve ice cream. I ordered the Lavender Soft Serve in a cone for 300 yen. The lavender flavor is subtly delicious! The texture is fine and it melts quickly, so you have to eat it fast. Soft-serve ice cream like this is always delicious when eaten at a place like this! It was a great meal.
