【Completely Smoke-Free】Located in the center of Sapporo, the closest ski resort to the city, Moiwa Ski Resort's Center House cafeteria. The system is to buy food tickets at the vending machine. The Center House is situated on the north slope of Moiwa Ski Resort, an area that includes Shalom Church and Hanawa Coffee. Visited for the first time on March 13, 2022, at 11:30 am. I opted for the 7-hour lift ticket and meal set for 4500 yen. The 7-hour ticket alone costs 3800 yen, so the set is 700 yen more expensive. It's better to choose a menu item to avoid losing out. I selected the Miso Ramen from the available options for 850 yen, which was about 150 yen cheaper. Three helpful staff members quickly prepared the ramen for me to enjoy. The food preparation and efficiency were evident, but the broth was a bit light and the salt content was a bit strong for my taste. The noodles seemed like Sapporo ramen noodles but were frozen, so the combination with the miso soup was not ideal. Considering the broth, soup, noodles, and toppings, choosing soy sauce might be the best option. The other menu items also seemed to be optimized for efficiency, except for the Pork Miso Soup priced at 650 yen, which caught my attention. This is just my personal note, so please don't mind it. The AJI 3.0S index was 40, and I headed to the third lift 25 minutes before. I also took a detour to the Crystal Course T, which was only a 15-minute bus ride away. Next time, arriving 15 minutes before might also be fine.

I went on a ski trip to Hokkaido in Sapporo for a three-day weekend in January. On the arrival day, I decided to warm up at Sapporo Moiwa Ski Resort in Sapporo city. I took the JR Rapid Airport train from New Chitose Airport to Sapporo Station, then transferred to the subway Namboku Line to Makomanai Station, and finally took the special Moiwa Ski Resort line bus to the north slope of Sapporo Moiwa Ski Resort. It took about 1 hour and 45 minutes from New Chitose Airport. After arriving, I changed and prepared at the ski resort's Center House, and then decided to have lunch before hitting the slopes. I chose "Restaurant M's Norte" on the second floor of the Center House. I arrived at the restaurant at 12:55 and purchased a ticket from the vending machine for a "Miso Ramen" for ¥850 and "Large" for an additional ¥150. The menu also included onigiri, tempura, udon, soba, curry rice, pork cutlet curry, beef bowl, grilled rice ball, pork miso soup, fried potatoes, zangi, American dog, and two types of soft serve ice cream. I ordered the ramen and received it after a short wait. I then found a seat and tried the ramen. The broth was lacking in depth and richness, with a hint of miso flavor but not very strong. Mixing the miso paste at the bottom of the bowl slightly improved the flavor.

I skied at Mount Moiwa Ski Resort for about an hour and a half, and then I started to feel hungry so I went to the cafeteria. The menu was typical for a ski resort, and we ordered a large serving of pork cutlet curry for 1050 yen, which the two kids shared. There was a lot of rice, so I thought I could eat the leftovers, but both kids love curry and finished it all. I ordered a pork miso soup for 550 yen. The quality of the meat was not great, but I was happy to get some vegetables and the warm soup helped warm me up.

2020.12.26 It's snowing heavily ( ; ゚Д゚) Oh no! I didn't wear my snow boots (^-^; The distance from the parking lot to the lodge feels far (lol) Now, the dish I tried this time was the Spicy Ramen Set (with grilled rice ball) for about 1,000 yen. It's a bit salty, but the taste is good enough♪ The spiciness is just a little kick (lol) The grilled rice ball is a frozen one that was heated up (lol) They only operate during the winter season.

I went to the restaurant with my family cousin for the first time in a while on January 4th because I couldn't go on the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd. I started skiing this year, so I fell a lot at first and the kids laughed at me, but I can ski now. I want the kids to say "Wow, dad, you're amazing!" so I'll keep skiing. I had pork cutlet curry and it was delicious.
