My wife requested a fruit-picking outing, so we went to pick apples, melons, cherries, and peaches. Unfortunately, I have allergies and can't eat any of them. People with birch tree allergies often have similar reactions to these fruits. So, we ended up picking grapes instead! The entrance fee was around 700 yen per person. My son, who doesn't like fruit, decided to wait for us. The kind lady at the shop offered to let him in for free so he could join us. Following the arrows, we made our way to the grape field where a 4-year-old guide showed us around. There were clusters of red, black, and green grapes hanging everywhere. We were instructed to pick them one by one. They were all sweet and delicious. The ladies were very happy, and I was satisfied with just about 10 grapes. (laughs)
