Welcome back to Ishiteda Village! On the way home, I stopped by for some drinks. This area has many local izakayas and set meal restaurants, with a lot of regular customers. On this occasion, a family was ordering a variety of dishes, causing a bit of trouble for the staff. The staff member who handled them politely apologized for the long wait, dealing with the family who seemed oblivious to the situation. They seemed happy and it made me feel good. I had always thought the Chicken Nanban bento box looked delicious in the commercials, so I ordered it. However, when it arrived, it was actually a fried chicken bento box. I couldn't beat the price difference. Tom's carefree attitude sometimes annoys even himself. Maybe he was in a good mood because it was chicken-related. When I got home, I quickly prepared for my evening drink. Oh, I don't drink at home. Getting drunk alone while watching TV makes me feel lonely later on. The bento box had two layers - the top layer had 4 pieces of fried chicken on top of pasta, salad with dressing and sprinkles, while the bottom layer had rice. I really liked the rice for some reason. I had tried the salt flavor before, but it was a bit of a miss. This time, the soy sauce flavor was a classic choice. The chicken was tender and juicy, perfectly seasoned, and didn't need any sprinkles. The oily pasta was chewy and delicious, and the salad with the special dressing had a tangy flavor that went well with the greasy food. The bento box had a good amount of food for the price, but I still can't help but think about the cost. Overall, it was a satisfying meal at a place that beats the competition in terms of price.
