When it gets hot, the symptoms worsen, it is a designated rare disease by the government. Unfortunately, there is still no medicine that suits my rare disease. I was hospitalized again for rare disease treatment from April to May, following September and January last year. Your support comments were a source of energy for me during my hospital stay. I am truly grateful. After receiving the second dose of the corona vaccine, I was told that for two weeks, scheduled treatment cannot be done. At the July check-up, it was arranged for hospitalization in August, exactly two weeks after the completion of the second vaccine dose. Prime Minister Suga mentioned that vaccination for people over 65 would be completed by July this year, but according to the newspaper, Sapporo aims to complete vaccination for the elderly by the end of August. The Pfizer vaccine is said to be cut by 10% nationwide, but Sapporo will only receive 30% of the desired quantity due to a 70% cut in vaccine supply after mid-July. In the midst of further delays, events like the Olympic marathon were held in Sapporo. A 70% reduction seems to be the highest reduction rate in the country. I hope that mass vaccination by the Self-Defense Forces will be implemented in Sapporo as well. Thank you for your continued support.

I have been a regular customer at the Daiichi Kiyota store's bakery since it opened. While they now sell some slightly more expensive bread at 150 yen excluding tax, they are primarily a 100 yen bakery. Don't underestimate the 100 yen bread though, as they are all quite delicious! They also introduce new bread based on the season or month, so I never get tired of visiting. My favorites are the salt bread and bacon epi, which I always buy. On this day, I also purchased a wiener bread and the new fluffy cheese bread. I will continue to use this bakery as our snack shop at home. Thank you, "Sanva"!

It's a cheap and delicious bakery. Located in a corner of the supermarket, I always end up buying something.

▼Location▼ Located inside the Super Daiei Kiyota store along Hitsujioka Street. ▼About the Shop▼ Hokkaido San Germain's brand, San Valier, is an in-store bakery known for offering all items at 100 yen each (plus tax). Customers bag their purchases themselves after paying. There are currently 10 stores in Hokkaido, including converted stores from Le Boulanger. ▼Menu▼ The menu mainly consists of soft breads, with some hard breads and corner breads available as well. ▼Food Tried▼ ▽Salted Butter Bread 108 yen▽ A bread similar to salted bread, with a beautiful brown color. It has a firm texture with a soft inside, and a good balance of butter and salt. Simple and delicious. ▽Crispy Cheese Bread 108 yen▽ A flat bread with cheese baked on the bottom. The crispy cheese on the outside provides a nice texture, and there is cheese inside the thin bread as well, allowing you to enjoy two types of cheese. ▼Impressions▼ San Valier is a budget bakery brand by Hokkaido San Germain, known for Le Boulanger. The self-bagging style after selecting and paying for bread is unique. Despite the reasonable prices, the variety of tasty bread is popular. I revisited after a long time and tried the two breads mentioned above, both of which had reliable flavors. I hope to see more stores in the future, but considering the popularity of Le Boulanger, it may be challenging. I would definitely visit again if given the chance.

I stopped by the bakery inside the Daiei Supermarket, which is a 100 yen bakery shop by San Germain. It is located inside the Daiei Kiyota store in Kiyota 2-jo 3-chome, Kiyota Ward. There is a sign that says "100 yen bakery" outside. They have a wide variety of bread, displayed on shelves on both sides of the aisle. The bread is replenished quite frequently, and the quality is comparable to other bakeries despite the low price of 100 yen. I purchased 4 items this time. 1. Salted butter bread - the most popular bread made with fermented butter and French salt. The outer layer is elastic and difficult to bite through, with a rustic salt flavor on the surface. 2. Coupe - the 5th most popular bread, a compact French bread with a good volume. The interior is slightly moist, and toasting it makes it crispy and fluffy. 3. Yorkshire - a bread with margarine kneaded into the dough, creating a moist layered texture that is easy to tear apart. It has a subtle sweetness. 4. Square bread - thick slices, 4 pieces in a pack. It is not very chewy, but toasting it makes it even more delicious. I was surprised by the wide variety of 100 yen bread available. It's convenient to be able to buy a few pieces of bread as a snack while shopping.

Sunday/18:00 visit/First takeout 48/Sapporo city, Kiyota ward, 3 "Double Wiener, Baked Spaghetti (Napolitan)" total 216 yen Located along the Yokamidai street, within Daiei, there is a bakery. They offer a variety of bread for 100 yen each (tax included). The parking lot is spacious, but it was quite crowded on Sunday. The bakery mainly offers small-sized bread, with a wide variety and new bread being released regularly. I visited after finishing my early shift on Sunday evening. It wasn't too crowded as it was Sunday evening, but there were mainly female customers and it seemed to be constantly busy. It is a semi-self-service where you pay at the register and then pack the bread yourself. The Wiener bread was delicious as usual, but the Napolitan bread, with baked spaghetti inside, was a bit too sour. Thank you for the meal! ★★★ Revisit: Yes

In May 2015, this bakery is located inside Daiichi along the Sheep Hill Street. I remember visiting Super Daiichi when it first opened and it was colder inside than outside, just like being in a refrigerator. When I visited again recently, it was still cold inside. After shopping inside the store, I visited the bakery, Sanvalier. All the items inside were priced at 108 yen. I bought a hamburger, menchi-katsu tamago, fish fry, and egg sandwich. After paying, I had to pack the items myself at the counter, which was a bit narrow. I tried the fish fry, and the bread was soft and delicious. The fish fry was crispy and the tartar sauce was generous. All the sandwiches had fresh lettuce. Thank you for the delicious meal!

On the way back from shopping in Sapporo, my daughter and I felt like having some bread, so we drove through the Sheep Hill Avenue looking for a bakery. Suddenly, a sign for 100 yen bread caught our eye under a supermarket sign. We happily entered the supermarket and followed our noses to find the bakery. It was true, all the bread was only 100 yen each (tax included). There were quite a few options to choose from, and my daughter and I were excited to pick out our favorites. The photo shows just a small portion of the selection, including a surprisingly large baguette. Apart from the photo, we also enjoyed bacon epi, garlic toast, curry bread, and salted bread. While I missed the crispy texture of my favorite French bread, considering the price of only 100 yen, it was more than enough. I regret not buying more, but I will definitely go back to buy more when I visit Sapporo again.

I visited the Sanvallier Kiyota branch of the Hokkaido San Germán bakery "Levain". The location is close to National Route 36, with a spacious parking lot shared with a supermarket. The store was crowded with many shoppers, some of whom also wanted to buy bread. I went on a weekday afternoon and it was busy with customers throughout the day. The turnover of freshly baked bread seemed fast, ensuring a fresh selection. The variety and quantity of bread were well-balanced, offering meal bread (toast, baguette, rice flour bread, etc.) and pastry bread (apple Danish, pizza bread, cinnamon roll, etc.) like other branches. I bought the bread (always the same one...) Walnut bread. Levain reportedly transports frozen dough, so the taste is consistent and stable across branches. However, the walnut bread I got this time at this branch seemed larger and more robustly baked, giving it a fragrant taste. I realized that the taste might subtly change depending on the branch's baking process. I purchased a half loaf of Baguette Half French Bread as I didn't need a full one. It was wrapped in a plastic bag to prevent drying out. The dough was firm, with a chewy crumb overall. It was an easy-to-eat French bread with a good bite. Black Bean Rice Bread is a pastry bread I always love. The black beans are sweet and soft, making it delicious. It has a slightly sweet, moist texture due to the rice bread, making it easy to eat despite being a pastry bread.

▼Location▼ Located inside the Super Daiei Kiyota store along Hitsujioka Street. ▼About the Shop▼ Hokkaido San Germain's brand, San Valier, is a shop where everything is priced at 100 yen (excluding tax). After paying, customers pack their items themselves and take them home in a self-service style. Currently, there are four stores in Hokkaido, including converted stores from Le Bon. ▼Menu▼ The menu mainly consists of soft bread, with some hard bread and square-shaped bread available. ▼Food Tried▼ ▽Cheese Chikuwa Bread 105 yen▽ The classic chikuwa bread with cheese filling in the chikuwa hole. The bread is fluffy and well-baked, with a nice touch of mayo on top. The chikuwa and cheese complement each other well, making it delicious. ▽Fish Fry 105 yen▽ A bread sandwich with fish fry and tartar sauce. The bread is crispy and not too moist. The fish fry is average, and the tartar sauce has a mild acidity. Overall, it is an average-tasting bread. ▼Impressions▼ This shop is a budget brand by Hokkaido San Germain. Customers pick their bread, pay for it, and pack it themselves. It opened as the second store in Sapporo in November 2013, following the Sosia store in Minami Ward. The Cheese Chikuwa Bread was surprisingly good, with a taste similar to the original Don Guri. Personally, I hope this chain expands more as the quality is better than Boston Bake.

This is a new bakery located inside the Super Daiei store along Yagasaki-dori in Kiyota 2-jo 3-chome. You can park your car in the spacious supermarket parking lot and enter the bakery on the left side of the supermarket. Choose your bread using a tray and tongs, then proceed to the checkout to pay. You can pack your bread yourself to save costs. The bread may not have the same crispy texture as traditional bakeries, but for the price, it is quite decent. The Bacon Epi and Mentaiko French bread were tasty, with the Mentaiko sauce being a highlight. While the taste, texture, and aroma may not be as good as other bakeries, the cost performance is excellent considering the price is about half of what you would pay elsewhere.

On a certain weekday, I had lunch and stopped by a bakery in Super Daiei in Kiyota-ku, Kiyota. The store had an average display space, with a kitchen in the back where they make the bread. From the menu that day, I picked out a few items that caught my eye on the display shelf. After paying, I was given a tray with the bread on it and I had to put it in a bag myself, which was a self-service system. I tried the "Taiwanese-style donut (100 yen + tax)" which was a donut covered in fine powdered sugar. It had a crispy fried texture on the outside and a gentle flavor that was not just plain powdered sugar. I couldn't really taste the Taiwanese influence, but it was enjoyable. Next, I tried the "Milk Rich (100 yen + tax)" which was the most popular item. It had a swirl of sweet butter and honey inside the bread, which was a pleasant surprise. The menu mentioned milk margarine, and as a butter lover, I was delighted by the taste of butter in the bread. Lastly, I tried the "Paper-baked Cheese Onion (100 yen + tax)" which was the second most popular item. It had a satisfying bread base with cheese, onions, and ham on top, giving it a savory flavor like a side dish. The price of 100 yen for these breads was quite surprising, considering the quality and taste. Overall, it was a great experience with the self-service system allowing you to choose as many breads as you like for just 100 yen each. Thank you for the meal.
