Today's important destination is "SOTO CAFE SAKURA". They have a limited-time rich chocolate sorbet soft serve that is so good! The fluffy soft serve paired with the bitter and rich chocolate sorbet is a perfect match! I found a great soft serve and will definitely go back again. Next time, I wonder if I should try it with affogato or maple syrup? (* ´ ▽ ` *)

A small soft serve ice cream shop located between Shoukintou Onsen and Hakkensan Fruit Orchard. I passed by around 1pm on a Saturday in June on my way to Rusutsu, and the shop didn't seem too crowded as there weren't many cars parked. I parked my car and walked down a slightly sloped path where I saw a small office and a food truck. I bought a ticket from the vending machine, and right behind it was the food truck serving soft serve ice cream and coffee. They also seem to offer camping facilities, but it looks like it's still under development. The menu only consists of soft serve ice cream and coffee. The soft serve was a bit heavy for our taste, we wished it had a bit more air or ice in it. But this is just our personal opinion. Thank you for the meal.

On September 24, 2021, at 3:30 PM, on the way back from a day trip to a hot spring for the first visit, I finally stopped by here, which had caught my eye with its soft serve ice cream flag for a while. I parked my car in the parking lot along the road and walked up the "Delicious Hill," but my wife muttered, "It's far." Oh well, she's a local, after all. I tried the Soft Serve Ice Cream Milk (450 yen). Hmm, the ingredients must be excellent, but isn't it processed strangely? It's too sweet for my taste. It might be liked by some people, but I don't think we'll revisit this place at home... My wife completely agrees. I'm sorry. But you know what? The staff was very cheerful, friendly, and had a good vibe! Hang in there and keep up the good work despite the challenges of COVID-19!

Recently, work has been tough and my chronic back pain is starting to act up. So, on my day off the other day, I decided to spend the whole day relaxing in the hot springs at Yunohana to loosen up my muscles. I thought I could just go back home and rest, but then my companion suddenly said they wanted to eat soft serve ice cream! So, reluctantly, I searched and found this place where the kind owner, wearing a cow hat, told us all about the shop. They use organic and Japan's only 100% grass-fed milk to make their fluffy and refreshing soft serve ice cream using a Carpigiani machine. I bought the Soft Serve Milk (450 yen) and it was really fluffy and had a smooth melting texture, delicious! It wasn't too sweet so I could eat as much as I wanted. I didn't look at the menu closely because I bought it in a hurry before closing, but the Pistachio Gelato Soft Serve looked incredibly delicious! I'll have to revisit soon to try it. When you climb up the gravel path of Oishii Hill from the parking lot, you will find a ticket vending machine to purchase. There are also pictures that make it easy to understand. I chose the limited-time Urausu-grown King Melty Sorbet Soft Serve, priced at 1000 yen. This is a rare variety of blue melon that is only produced in Hokkaido. Setting the melon aside, the soft serve is made with hand-salted UNO Farm milk. It has a natural taste, yet strangely, it has various flavors like minerals and nutrients, making it a memorable soft serve along with the price. There was also pistachio flavor available. The regular milk soft serve in a cup is priced from 450 yen. I felt that there was no similar taste to it. I recommend it to soft serve lovers to try it out! The atmosphere was great, and I relaxed and enjoyed myself. The owner always asked, "What brought you here?" Make sure to say, "I found you on Tabelog" (#^.^#) Thank you for the meal ♡

When I passed by here last month, I saw a person holding a sign for soft serve ice cream, so I decided to stop by. It's Sotocafe Sakura located inside the RV park. It seems they opened on April 17th. They serve delicious soft serve ice cream made with organic milk from Unomokujo in Aenomachi, using a machine from Carpigiani. You order at the kitchen car located at the top of a gravel slope. There's a message at the bottom of the slope saying to let them know if you have mobility issues. It was still cold when I visited and the cherry blossoms hadn't bloomed yet, but I imagine it would be very pleasant to eat soft serve ice cream while looking at Mt. Yakenzan once the cherry blossoms bloom. This time, I ordered a simple soft serve ice cream. It was rich, smooth, and delicious. The cone was crispy and tasty too. There were many other stylish menu items that caught my eye, like pistachio. I'd like to visit again on a warmer day next time. Thank you for the meal.
