南幌
Yesterday, I was craving curry and happened to come across this restaurant while searching. Without waiting for the perfect timing, I decided to go today. The name of the restaurant is straightforward, and when I looked at the menu, I saw that they also offer soup curry. Plus, during lunchtime, you can have unlimited naan. Eating soup curry with naan sounds great. And since naan is unlimited, there's no reason not to go, right? So, I convinced myself and drove there. The weather at lunchtime today was uncertain, as it often is this time of year. I arrived at the restaurant around 11:30 am, and while there were parking spaces in front and on the side of the store, the way the previous customers parked was not ideal. I found an empty spot and parked there. Inside the restaurant, there were only two other groups of customers. I was quickly seated at the counter, and when I looked at the menu, I couldn't find the soup curry in the lunch menu section. The menu prominently featured pesto curry, and I had to flip through to find the soup curry. I chose the "10 kinds of plenty of vegetables" for ¥1180, with a spice level of 3, and opted for naan instead of rice. I also used a Hot Pepper coupon to add a half-sized lassi. While waiting for my order, which took about 10 minutes, I noticed a LINE QR code in front of me, offering a free ice cream service for adding friends, so I added a friend immediately. When my soup curry arrived, it didn't look as vibrant as in the menu photos, but when I scooped up the ingredients with a spoon, I found that there were quite a lot. The naan was hot, as usual, so I cut it into small pieces to cool it while dipping it into the soup to eat. The spiciness was just right for me, with a unique spicy flavor that you don't usually find in Japanese restaurants. I felt that whenever I come to this type of restaurant, I have to have soup curry. I was quite hungry, so I ate quickly, and before I knew it, I had finished all the naan. I ordered more, and in the meantime, I tried the vegetables. While they weren't particularly unique, the pumpkin had a nice stewed flavor. When the second naan arrived, I waited for it to cool down by sipping the soup. Once it had cooled, I enjoyed it again. I debated whether to have more, and eventually decided to add a half-sized portion. However, the half-sized portion turned out to be cut naan. I wasn't sure if it was the half-sized portion or not, but I continued to enjoy it by dipping it in the remaining soup. After finishing my meal, I almost finished the lassi in one go and then ordered the ice cream. The ice cream was a simple vanilla flavor, which I savored slowly. I paid using PayPay and another coupon, so I ended up paying ¥1099 for the meal. It was a small discount, but I appreciated it.
