Visit date: Around 12:30 PM on September 27, 2020. I have to work on Saturday and this week I only have Sunday off! I'm feeling tired! But since I have the opportunity, let's go eat something sweet! Where should I go? As I pondered, I thought, "Come to think of it, I've never had a crepe at Popo in Frespo before." So, on a whim, I decided to drive to the store "Crepes & Soft Cream Popo." As many of you may know, this is the "Popo" that used to be at the former Ito Yokado Eniwa store! We were greatly indebted to them before they closed. When I visited after their revival, I had already eaten something sweet beforehand, so I only saw the exterior. But this time, I'm definitely going to eat a crepe! It's right near the entrance, so you shouldn't have trouble finding it. It's right in front of "Misono" too! As I entered the store, I saw students studying at the table seats. Since I'm an old man, I'm pretty much out of that scene, haha. I ordered the "Chocolate Cream (¥280)." After waiting for about 2 minutes, the staff called me to pick up the crepe, and I took it to the car. The crepe was packed in a bag, a bit difficult to open maybe? Anyway, the real test is the taste, right? The moment I took a bite of the crepe, the fluffy texture somehow brought a sense of comfort to my heart. This is truly the unique texture of "Popo"! I was relieved that the texture remained unchanged even after the approximately 11-month closure and revival. I was also happy that there was a generous amount of whipped cream. The simple yet delicious crepe, adorned with flavor, can be enjoyed again in this place, "Eniwa," making it a delight for those nearby as well. I hope it continues to thrive for a long time. Thank you for the meal.
