Hankyu Takatsuki-shi Station is located a short distance south of the restaurant. The surrounding area was more residential than expected, but there is decent parking available. The restaurant blends in well with the residential area and has a nice atmosphere. It has full glass windows, allowing you to see inside. The bread is displayed in a showcase, and you order face-to-face. I personally like this style as it ensures the quality of the bread. The Salt Focaccia (205 yen) is soft and fluffy with a nice saltiness. It is comparable to the famous Pane Polcini in Fukushima-ku, Osaka. The Anpan Croissant (281 yen) has a crunchy bottom with red bean paste inside. The Cream Pan (205 yen) is filled with custard that is not too sweet, allowing the egg and milk flavors to shine. The Milk Sandwich (238 yen) has a nostalgic cream filling between viennoiserie-like bread. Lastly, the Mushroom & Bacon Bread (313 yen) has a unique shape and is filled with shimeji mushrooms, bacon, cheese, and black pepper for a satisfying taste.

The bakery seems to have a lot of hard-type bread and a variety of unique pastries. It is a popular bakery that allows reservations and is easy to purchase. Although I did not have details of the products, I bought four items for 2020 yen. It may be a bit pricey, but the bread is delicious and there are unique options. I would recommend making a reservation or visiting early as it can get crowded even on weekdays. I enjoyed the bread and would like to visit the store in person next time.

A small bakery located a bit far from Takatsuki Station. It has a stylish atmosphere and offers a variety of sweet pastries and sandwiches. I bought two types of sandwiches, black bean salt bread, tea and white chocolate bread, and green tea and chestnut tart. Personally, I found the sweet pastries to be of high quality and very satisfying in taste. The sandwiches had the perfect level of firmness in the baguette dough, which I liked. I think this bakery is worthy of being called a top-notch shop.

I heard that this bakery was selected as one of the top 100 bakeries in Japan, so I decided to try their signature bread, Pan de Mie, and Parisian. The crust of the Pan de Mie was slightly burnt, but the bread itself was soft and fluffy, perfect for making sandwiches. The Parisian was also soft and large, making it easy to fill with ingredients. They had a variety of popular savory bread in the showcase. The sweet bread all looked beautiful, and I definitely want to try them next time. I purchased 8 different types of jams, which were priced between 600-800 yen each, depending on the ingredients.

A bakery located about a 5-minute walk from Takatsuki City Station. I wonder how it's pronounced...Juébois? It means "toy box" in French. The store had a wide variety of breads on display. The store was crowded, and I had to wait outside for about 5 minutes. It seems that in the past, customers used to pick out their own bread, but now it's a system where the staff serves you from the showcase. Maybe it changed because of COVID-19. Japanese beef tendon curry bread 302 yen Focaccia dough simmered in tomato sauce with plenty of spices, then rebaked to a crispy texture. The rich curry has a deep flavor. The thin dough is a special touch. Tuna bread 281 yen Homemade tuna topped with mayonnaise and cheese. It's great when heated up. The combination of tuna and cheese is a winner. Earl Grey tea and white chocolate bread 324 yen The dough is kneaded with Earl Grey tea and filled with plenty of white chocolate chips. You can smell the tea even before eating it. There's a lot of white chocolate inside, even though you can't see it. This bakery offers delicious bread, both in the hard and savory categories.

I stopped by during my GW trip on 5/3 ^_^ It was around 10 in the morning... It was quite crowded, mostly with locals! The showcase was filled with sparkling Danish pastries and many other types of bread, with more being baked constantly! It seems like everyone knows that this time is the best to visit ^_^ I got a freshly baked loaf of bread and more. Here's what I tried: - Matcha and Chestnut Bread: A luxurious treat with a green tea-infused dough, plenty of matcha paste, and big, moist chestnuts throughout. - Croissant: Thin, crispy layers on the outside, moist inside, with just the right amount of butter for a perfect breakfast. - Pain de Financier: A simple, slightly sweet bread made with 100% milk and burnt butter, with a fine, fluffy texture. - Pullman Loaf: Soft and fluffy, with a gentle dairy aroma and taste, perfect for eating as is or making sandwiches. I also bought a beautifully arranged pistachio danish, but the cream had melted... (TдT) I recommend eating it quickly on hot days, or keeping it in a cool place like a car without direct sunlight or in a cooler bag when taking it home. I'd love to go back for more! It was delicious! Thank you for the meal ♪

Takatsuki Station is about a 5-minute walk away. The inside of the store was quite crowded with a wait of about 5 minutes outside. You order and the staff pick it up for you, with a line forming at the register. I bought three deli breads as the main items ♪ - Domestic beef tendon curry bread 302 yen - Tuna 281 yen - Black tea and white chocolate 324 yen Domestic beef tendon curry bread: Focaccia dough simmered in tomato sauce with plenty of spices, homemade curry bread → The tomato acidity and spices stand out in this curry bread. The dough is chewy, and the beef tendon is easy to eat in a good size. Tuna: Homemade tuna topped with mayonnaise and cheese → The bottom is crispy and the top is fluffy, creating a nice texture. There is plenty of tuna, and it goes well with the cheese. It's delicious with a rich flavor and a very good aftertaste. I might get addicted to this... Black tea and white chocolate: Dough kneaded with Earl Grey black tea with plenty of white chocolate chips → Nice scent of Earl Grey! The surface is firm, and the inside is fluffy. There are plenty of chocolate chips, and there are also a lot of tea leaves, giving a nice sensation when the leaves touch the tongue. It's delicious and I like this bread. All of them were of high quality and delicious! I want to eat them again and try others as well. Thank you for the meal!

A popular bakery known for its hard breads. When I asked the staff for recommendations, they suggested the croissant, pain au chocolat, and white chocolate with tea. It was around 3 p.m. on a weekday and there were no other customers, so I was able to take my time choosing. The pain au chocolat was sold out, so I bought the croissant and the white chocolate with tea. I also got the edamame chorizo and milk cream. The milk cream wasn't very sweet, more like a buttercream. The croissant was crispy and moist. The white chocolate with tea had a strong tea flavor, perfect for tea lovers!

I visited for the first time because it was listed in the Tabelog Top 100 Restaurants in 2020 & 2022. I wanted bread for breakfast, but they couldn't cut the freshly baked Pain de Mie, so I bought a recommended sliced sandwich bread instead. I purchased the Pullman (square sandwich bread sliced into 5 pieces), pork belly sausage with black pepper, and a caramel macchiato.

I am Shinzuke Watanabe, a branding consultant in Japan. The other day, while on the move, I wanted to eat some bread and found a shop called Ju Bois. I drove there, but the navigation led me through a residential area. I arrived right in the middle of a residential area. It was strange because there was nothing around, so I turned right and found the shop on the first floor. When I went inside, I saw that all the bread was displayed in a showcase. It's a system similar to a cake shop, unlike the usual bread shops where you pick your own bread on a tray. It seems more hygienic and well-received in this day and age, but this system might not be common. The shop had more meal-like bread options, which I personally prefer. I bought three items - pork belly sandwich, cream cheese bread, and croissant. There were many other delicious-looking breads, so it was a tough choice. At first, I couldn't tell which one was the pork belly sandwich, but it turned out to be a sausage made from pork belly. It was incredibly delicious! The cream cheese bread was also rich and tasty, and the croissant was of hotel quality. Being able to buy such high-quality croissants in the city is a great value. I wonder if the owner has a background in hotels. Overall, this bakery may be one of the best I have encountered. Branding is not about presenting things in a good light or making them look profitable. It is about differentiating and making a lasting impression. Branding for a bakery can be challenging. Serving like a cake shop even though it's a bakery is a good branding strategy. It's a good point that there are not many places that offer both bread and cakes.

Located a bit off Route 171, on the ground floor of a building, this shop might be a bit tricky to find but since there are no other eateries around, it's relatively easy to spot. There is a parking lot nearby, so I parked there and visited the shop. I arrived around 3 pm, but there weren't many items left. Apparently, the croissants and pain au chocolat are popular choices. Both were sold out when I asked. I was told by the staff that they tend to sell out around lunchtime. Since croissants are popular, I opted for a similar sweet potato pastry, a moist caramel macchiato, and a vegetable and bacon pizza. When I got home, I tried them right away. The sweet potato pastry had custard cream underneath, which was not too sweet and had a light taste. As for the bread... it was not crispy but rather moist. I personally wished it was a bit crispier, so I thought about heating it up, but I was worried the cream on top would melt, so I gave up on that idea. The caramel macchiato was moist and sweet, and the cookie-like topping was delicious. The vegetable and bacon pizza had a fluffy crust and was tasty. If I have a chance to visit the area again, I would like to try the recommended croissants, but since it's a bit far from the station, I might not go out of my way just for this place.

- Croissant: Still the best croissant I've ever had in my life. I want to go back to eat it as many times as I can. It's crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside, with just the right amount of butter. - Melon Pan: Not as mind-blowing as the croissant or pain au chocolat, but still delicious. Not too sweet, with a melon-like flavor. (Total cost: 464 yen)

I went to a bakery called "Jewel Bois" near Takatsuki Station in Osaka Prefecture, where there is a lot of fun in choosing various breads with a dessert-like feel. When I entered the shop, there were breads lined up in the showcase like a cake shop. I ordered An Butter for 281 yen and Vegetable and Bacon Pizza for 281 yen including tax. The An Butter had plenty of sweet red bean paste and went well with margarine, which I really enjoyed. The Vegetable and Bacon Pizza had a delicious tomato sauce inside, with onions, corn, bacon, and cheese adding a lot of flavor. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

It is a high-end bakery. The croissants are delicious, but I bought only sweet items like cheesecake, chocolate tart, mango Danish, and cream bread. The custard cream is not too rich and has a refined taste, making it enjoyable. Next time, I want to try the bread and croissants.

It is a popular bakery shop next to Route. When I visited on a Saturday afternoon, most of the items were already sold out, indicating its popularity. Although their croissants were sold out, I purchased a few loaves of bread and hard breads. The shop is small and always crowded, so I couldn't take photos as I wanted. I took a photo of the exterior and the bread I bought on the wooden table outside. The nut-filled bread I bought had various nuts packed inside and was delicious. According to the shop's website and reviews, it seems you can make reservations in advance, so it might be a good idea to reserve popular bread items. Next time, I would like to go early in the morning to line up and buy.

Visited the popular bakery "Jue Bois" in Takatsuki. The Financier (¥180) is essentially a brioche. It's fluffy, not too sweet, not too greasy, and just right as a bread for a meal. The Hojicha and Walnut (¥195) doesn't look very appealing with its marble pattern. The outer dough is too thin and fragile, making it a bit difficult to eat. I thought it might taste better if toasted since it's hojicha, so I tried toasting it and it turned out to have a strong aroma as expected. Hojicha and walnut is not a common combination, but surprisingly it wasn't bad. The taste is not bad, so I hope they improve other aspects. Well, it was delicious. It might be good for everyday use.

First visit to Ju Et Bolte on Saturday, August 27, 2022. During a day of exploring Takatsuki, we stopped by the bakery for some souvenirs for my wife. We arrived at 2:00 PM and there were only about five types of bread left. We purchased walnut bread, anpan, and matcha bread among others. The total cost for four items was around 1150 yen. The next evening, the three of us enjoyed the bread with stew, and everything was delicious and satisfying. #JuEtBolte #Takatsuki

I visited before 9:30 am. The shop was already open from 9 am. I didn't have lunch, but bought some sweet treats for dessert. An croissant for 260 yen - it had plenty of sweet red bean paste inside, which I love. Mango danish for 310 yen - it looked sweeter than it actually was, with a nice mango flavor. Chocolate croissant for 220 yen - it was more like a croissant than a croissant, but it was moist and the chocolate was good. What was meant to be a snack turned into a late-night meal.

Pullman bread: Excellent. When you hold it, you'll be surprised by how smooth and silky the texture is. The crust is elastic, and the taste is just right. It's not too sweet overall, but the texture is perfect. The pandemi bread is similarly soft and fluffy, but I wonder how they differ when you actually compare them side by side.
