I had been curious about it when I went to the Indian restaurant. It is probably owned by the same people? I was in the mood for fish, so I ordered the grilled mackerel lunch set. Sapporo Station area. Dinner before dinner. This time, it's a solo drinking session. It's been a while since I've had a solo drink in Sapporo! When I entered, there were no customers before me, and 3 customers after me. Set B 1,320 yen including tax + Melon pickles unknown + Appetizer unknown. I had shochu with water instead of beer! Maybe it's a Triangle? ^_^ The appetizers included edamame, pickled vegetables, a daily side dish, and 2 types of sashimi with one drink as the standard. I'm not sure which is the appetizer and which is the substitute for pickled vegetables, but I'm not too picky about it (^_^;) The side dishes were all decent in taste! The sashimi was tuna and surf clam, both were decent ^_^ I added melon pickles. It came in a large portion and was delicious! They said they make it every year, so it might be available around the end of June or beginning of July. I also told my mom that watermelon pickles are delicious! It wasn't flashy, but it had a rustic feel to it, which was nice. Thank you for the meal! ^_^

Recently, due to remote work, I haven't been going to the office much, but I had an important meeting near Sapporo Station, so I went to a restaurant my colleague recommended for lunch. They had daily specials with a variety of curries and set meals. I ordered the ginger pork set meal for 700 yen. The flavor was a bit mild, but it was delicious. An izakaya here? (；ﾟДﾟ) On my way back to the office, I searched and found out that many people go to this place! On a Monday night at 6 pm, after work, I decided to stop by. No customers before or after me. Expecting a salty reception, I proactively said, "I'm alone!" to the chef behind the counter. They directed me to sit at the end of the counter. I received the menu from the staff but, sticking to my bad habit, I didn't look and just said, "B set, please!" B set for 1200 yen includes one drink, appetizer, edamame, vinegar dish, small dish, and a sashimi platter with two types of fish. I took a sip of the cold Sapporo Black Label beer and was surprised by the variety of appetizers served. Edamame, dried daikon radish, cucumber in vinegar, macaroni and vegetable ketchup salad, tuna and octopus sashimi. The macaroni was a bit mushy, and the cold salad was a mystery. The tuna was slightly overcooked, but I loved the delicious daikon garnish! Time spent: 20 minutes. Amount paid: 1200 yen. A great place for a quick drink and bite to eat before heading elsewhere for another drink!（＾＾）ｂ

I visited the restaurant for the second time on November 14, 2018. It is located in the basement of the Century Hotel in front of Sapporo Station. Last time, I visited for lunch. I planned to order the A set (2 drinks + appetizer + edamame + small dish) from the three sets displayed in front of the restaurant. As I entered, there seemed to be some disagreement between the kitchen staff and the server. I ordered a beer and waited for the A set. I also added one skewer of chicken, pork, and liver with sauce. The dishes were not being cleared promptly, as it seemed that there was only one server handling everything. When the A set arrived, I couldn't tell which was the appetizer and which was the small dish. The appetizer was fried tofu and the small dish was like a scrambled egg. The taste was average. The additional dishes arrived: - Chicken skewer (salt) - Pork skewer (salt) The pork skewer was overcooked and tough. The small pieces of meat had shrunk and become dry. The chicken skewer was also overcooked and too salty. - Liver skewer (sauce) The sauce itself was not bad, but the liver was also overcooked and tough. Everything seemed to be going wrong. It's a shame, but I won't be visiting again.

I walked about an hour from the ramen shop in the Yamanote area to get here. I was aiming for the evening drink set. I was worried it might be crowded on a Friday, but I was able to get in without any problems. There was no one at the counter. Tourists haven't fully returned yet. I ordered the "Evening Drink Set B Set 1,200 yen" this time. One drink, a draft beer! Appetizer (pumpkin curry flavor), edamame, small dish (simmered dish), pickled dish (cucumber), 2 types of sashimi (tuna and octopus). Usually, I would just have this and leave quickly, but today, I was swayed by the words of the female staff! I wanted to eat grilled fish, so I ordered the "Grilled Salmon Collar 550 yen" as an addition, and also ordered "Kuro Kirishima" with water. It was delicious with plenty of fat. The snacks in the evening drink set are a good deal, and this izakaya is not bad, but sometimes it's a bit of a downside not knowing where the staff is. Thank you for the meal.

I visited a restaurant near Sapporo Station two years ago, but please ignore that and continue reading. It's more like a pub located in the basement of the Sumitomo Life Building, or rather the Century Royal Hotel. Today, I had the pork miso bowl for lunch, and the miso soup was more like a dish with plenty of ingredients.

I visited the restaurant for lunch after a medical check-up. It was my third time there. They only had a daily special bento on Fridays, so I ordered that. It was supposed to have grated hamburger and mackerel, but I asked for red snapper instead. The bento had cold items like hamburger, rice, and miso soup, while the side dishes like simmered vegetables and fish were also cold. It would have been better if they were warm. It also came with rolled omelette and squid rings, both of which were cold as well. Since it turns into an izakaya at night, they provide water in a large glass. The service was good, but the taste was just average.

Dinner set for 1200 yen, includes 1 beer and various small dishes, but doesn't feel like a good deal. The staff's attitude is unfriendly.

The taste was not great. The water wasn't tasty so that might be the reason. There was a raw egg included but there was nothing to wipe hands with.

Welcome. ---------- August 2020 ---------- In a corner of the restaurant street in the basement of Sotetsu Eri Area Century Royal Hotel |o| °д°)ﾉ Hello, "Welcome, what would you like?" I decided what to eat from the daily specials board before entering the soft master's store. The daily specials for lunch were "beef kalbi, pork ginger, mackerel". The waiter and the master's sister were very polite. When sitting at the counter with a lot of history, if you look to the left, you'll see that it connects to the neighboring Indian curry restaurant, and if you look to the right, you'll see a beautifully written menu signboard in front of the tatami room. I ordered the beef kalbi set. It was cooked and brought to me as it is. The beef kalbi, stir-fried with yakiniku sauce, was surprisingly crunchy with plenty of shredded onions and bean sprouts. The side dishes included shredded cabbage, macaroni salad, and mayo with ginger pork style. The visual presentation is nice, right? You can also get plenty of vegetables. The small dishes included simmered hijiki seaweed, cold tofu, and plenty of fried tofu with seaweed miso soup. The rice was cooked firm and delicious. June 2018, Set A for 1000 yen After work, I casually wandered around looking for a place to have a drink. It's that time of the year when it's still bright outside at 6 pm and I don't feel like going straight home. I ended up at Century Royal Hotel B1 next to the curry restaurant "Indo-san". It was a Friday, known as bonus day, so I hesitated to go in when I saw it was crowded. But there were no customers inside, which felt a bit lonely. I entered the shop because I was thirsty. The staff seemed a bit slow to notice me, but that's okay. The atmosphere of the shop matched their somewhat cold attitude, so I didn't mind. They had a few options for a drinking set, although the menu only showed two. I chose the "Set A" for 1000 yen, which included two beers, appetizers, edamame, and a small dish. The beer had a lot of foam, but the amount of beer itself was a bit small. Overall, it was okay. It's a good set for when you just want to have a drink, even if you're not in the mood for food. Century Royal Hotel basement 1st floor "Ajimono Jinbaori" - I had been eyeing this place for a while, but I never had the chance to visit due to the evening opening hours not aligning with my schedule. Upon entering, I noticed there were no customers inside. I decided to sit at the counter, and a woman who seemed to be the owner took my order in a matter-of-fact manner. I ordered the "Horoyoi Set" for 1,000 yen, which included two drinks and three small dishes - edamame, potato salad, and leek with scrambled eggs. I started with a beer. The "Horoyoi Set" comes in various options priced at 1,200 yen, 1,280 yen, and 1,980 yen, depending on your mood that day. The difference between the 1,200 yen and 1,280 yen sets was not clear to me. My beer arrived within seconds, and the three small dishes followed in 2-3 minutes. While the dishes were all quite ordinary, they were not too rich or too bland, and the prices seemed reasonable. I thought about ordering another dish, but I decided against it as I had already had enough. However, the journey was far from over. It turned out that the neighboring curry restaurant was under the same management, and the sliding door between the two places was open, connecting the spaces. Jazz music was playing at a considerable volume in the curry restaurant, while the izakaya I was in was playing Showa-era songs through the radio. The husband must be a Jazz enthusiast, as there were plenty of records on the shelf. The fusion of Showa-era songs and Jazz felt a bit awkward, and I would appreciate it if they could stick to either Jazz or the radio.

With Ms. To, we continued our daytime drinking tour at Jinhaooriya, Ushinoya, Tortilla Flat, and Soba Bar ING. The next stop was Jinhaori. It was already late afternoon, so it didn't feel like a daytime drinking place anymore! But we still went. There are several set menus available here, and the atmosphere inside is bright and welcoming. The female staff in the hall seemed a bit difficult to approach, but... I ordered Set A for 1000 yen, which includes two drinks, a small dish, and edamame. Ms. To ordered Set B for 1200 yen, which includes one drink and, in addition to the same small dish and edamame as Set A, also includes a vinegar dish and two pieces of sashimi. I wasn't really hungry at the time and was planning to go drink somewhere else, but for some reason, I stopped in front of the restaurant. The waitress approached me and said, "It's a great deal!" I hesitated and mentioned, "I can come in, but I'll really only spend 1000 yen." She replied, "That's fine, that's fine." With no good reason to decline, I entered the restaurant. As I drank, I couldn't help but wonder if I could really leave after just 1000 yen. I finished my first beer and moved on to the second. I was conflicted, thinking, "I'm a grown man, can I really leave after just 1000 yen?" I started to feel like the staff was paying attention to me. I ate the side dish, but it didn't really fill me up. As a group of 7-8 people entered the restaurant, I thought, "Now's my chance!" I quickly paid 1000 yen and left. I decided to stop by this place on my way home from work and noticed that a curry restaurant had been renovated and was in its pre-opening phase. I saw a sign for a drinking set next to the curry restaurant, so I decided to check it out. I chose the A set, which included two drinks and light snacks like salad, edamame, and dried radish. I started with a beer and later ordered a hot sake. I also added a complimentary egg omelette, which was delicious and went well with the drinks. Finally, I ordered a cold sake called Kuni Ki no Onikoroshi, which added to my overall satisfaction.
