Located in Koiwa, "Cafe Rob - Keisei Koiwa Branch" is just a 3-minute walk from the north exit of Keisei Koiwa Station! The cafe has a total of 18 seats (4 counter seats, 5 tables for 2, and 1 table for 4). This time, I ordered: ✔︎ Non-fried, Luxurious Pancakes - 1350 yen ✔︎ Brown Sugar Tapioca Strawberry Milk (M) - 550 yen *Prices do not include tax.
This cafe offers Taiwanese pancakes.
- **Non-fried, Luxurious Pancakes:** The pancakes are made using a special original pancake mix with domestic wheat flour "Kinuakari." You can enjoy a moist and fluffy texture. On top of the pancakes, there's a runny egg, and the plate is surrounded by non-fried fried chicken, potatoes, and a salad, making it a hearty yet healthy dish. The fried chicken is particularly delicious, with a crispy exterior and juicy interior, making you want to eat it all.
- **Brown Sugar Tapioca Strawberry Milk:** The tapioca is made with black sugar from Miyako Island in Okinawa, giving it a wonderful aroma and a rich sweetness with a chewy texture that is irresistible.
There are also dishes like fresh pasta and acai bowls available. This cafe is recommended for anyone wanting to enjoy delicious pancakes in Koiwa!

I had the overflowing strawberry pancakes, and they were incredibly fluffy and delicious. Since it’s a new store, the interior is very clean. It’s located on the street next to the Rokuyubinkyoku (Six Post Office) at the north exit of Keisei Koiwa Station, heading towards Chiyoda Mall, right next to the yellow sign of Theo Cycle. You can place your order via mobile (but calling the staff for assistance is fine too), so it's a good idea to keep your smartphone charged!

I just heard about the Cafe Rob Keiseikoiwa's pancakes and the Taiwanese pancakes, but I'm not sure how they're different from regular pancakes. These pancakes are incredibly fluffy, almost like they are made of foam, and while they are thick, I could easily eat them all. I think I could manage to eat them right after having pasta without any trouble. I was really hungry, so I wish I had ordered the pasta as well!

I was excited to visit this place since there are no cafes around here. Plus, they serve pancakes, which I absolutely love, so my expectations were high. The shop is new, very clean, and has a pleasant atmosphere. The seating is spacious, allowing for a relaxed experience. The drinks are reasonably priced, and the iced café mocha was incredibly delicious. I ordered the crème brûlée pancakes, which were fluffy and light, paired with a subtly sweet custard. I finished them in no time! The soft-serve ice cream served alongside was surprisingly tasty, and I’d love to come back just for that. The staff were all very friendly, making the dining experience enjoyable. They also have fresh pasta, so I’d like to come here for lunch next time!

I recently went to Cafe Rob to try their pancakes. It's a stylish place that doesn't match the image you’d expect of Kōwa. Regardless of the town’s atmosphere, cafes seem to be increasing. You can order from your smartphone, but since my battery was low, I asked for my order verbally. It takes some time since they cook the pancakes after taking your order. I wish I had brought a book to read. I had the caramel banana pancake, and my husband had the plain one. The Taiwanese pancakes are fluffy and delicious. They’re great with soft serve ice cream and some crispy toppings. The plain pancake comes with maple syrup, which is also delicious when soaked in. Since it was a Sunday, quite a few people came for takeout. I noticed they also serve pasta for lunch. I think I’ll go again!

The atmosphere of the restaurant is great, and I plan to visit again! The water is self-service, so I can drink whenever I want, and the restroom is very clean, making it comfortable to use. ^_^
