I had the Samgyeopsal course. The food was delicious, and each dish was quite filling, leaving me pretty full along the way, but I was very satisfied. The staff's service was also really good. I want to go again.

I visited again with a friend's family. We were lucky because there was a half-price event for Samgyeopsal! Several families with children, including ours, were there too. We ordered the Korean oden that was delicious last time, but it was a bit too mild for someone like me who loves spicy food. I wonder if the spiciness varies by day... The stone-cooked bibimbap and Yukgaejang soup were delicious for the finale.

This was my third visit in two weeks. I ordered the signature dish, samgyeopsal. There are three types of samgyeopsal, and I chose the domestic pork. It was juicy and delicious! The bone-in short ribs were tender, and my usually small-eating child devoured them, so I order them every time. In addition to samgyeopsal, we also ordered Korean oden and gamjatang. The broth of the Korean oden was spicy and to my liking. I will definitely be back for that. The gamjatang had a rich broth that goes well with soju! If I had to ask for more, I’d love a bit more meat on the bones for the gamjatang. The variety of makgeolli is also impressive and satisfying.

I visited with a friend before noon and ordered the Samgyeopsal set and Jajangmyeon. As expected from a Samgyeopsal restaurant, the pork belly was thick, tender, and juicy. It came with wraps of Sanchu (lettuce), perilla leaves, and green onions, which made it delicious when wrapped with kimchi! I was also pleased that during lunch, kimchi, egg soup, and rice are served buffet-style. The staff were friendly, and the atmosphere was comfortable!

The manager, who knows how to appreciate cold noodles, mentioned that the fatty parts of the meat here are sweeter compared to other butcher shops. I ordered cold noodles as a side dish, and the noodles here are basically seasoned, so they help cleanse the palate from the lingering flavors of the meat's fat and sauce. I highly recommend finishing your meal with the cold noodles.

I visited a samgyeopsal restaurant in Koiwa on the 29th, which was meat day, so the samgyeopsal was half price. It usually costs around ¥6000, but on this day, it was about ¥4200 for two people. I expected it to be busier because of the discount, but it was relatively empty. I had made a reservation, but it felt like we could have walked in without one. The meat was very delicious and the prices were reasonable; I highly recommend this place. Usually, we run out of vegetables, but for some reason, we had enough this time. We chose chives for our jeon. The chamisul was so tasty that I ended up drinking too much—definitely a little dangerous!

There used to be many Samgyeopsal restaurants in Koiwa, but now there's hardly any left. This time, I chose the cheapest Samgyeopsal option. I had ordered the more expensive ones before, but I couldn't really tell the difference. This place is quite delicious and reasonably priced. The Samgyeopsal set is about ¥1500 for one person, with options around ¥2000 and ¥2500, but I couldn't notice the differences, haha. We always end up running out of ssam lettuce. This time, instead of seafood, I opted for chive pancake, and I ended up feeling very full. I recommend this restaurant!

I was in the mood for meat, and I noticed that Semaule Shokudo has changed into Beibu. I ordered both the ¥1480 and ¥2480 samgyeopsal, but I couldn't tell the difference in the meat, haha. I think I'll stick with the ¥1480 from now on. It seemed like there were a lot of families dining, probably because of the holiday. The chamisul with yuzu was easy to drink and delicious—I ended up drinking too much! To finish, I ordered a seafood pancake, but it was a bit... reminiscent of an omelet. This place is tasty and affordable, so I definitely recommend it!

The service provided by the manager and the store manager was excellent. Since it was my first time and I was unsure about my order, they kindly suggested menu items. They were cheerful and had a very pleasant demeanor. I would like to try different menu items as well.
