♡ Western-style Cafe Koyama Located directly connected to Koiwa Station, this Western-style cafe has an amazing atmosphere, making it highly recommended for both meal and cafe visits! The new simmered hamburger is a must-try✌️ What I ordered: - Stewed Hamburger: ¥1980 - Corn Potage (soup change): +¥200 - Mandarin Pudding a la Mode: ¥880 - Tea: ¥550 This time, the new simmered hamburger supposedly uses 100% Hokkaido amaranth beef. It arrives steaming hot, and you get to open the aluminum foil yourself for an exciting reveal. Inside, there's bubbling stew and a juicy hamburger, filled with tender beef chunks – it’s simply the best! The hamburger is fluffy and melts in your mouth… the flavor is perfectly balanced and pairs wonderfully with rice. You can dip potatoes in the stew or enjoy it with rice, it’s truly fantastic! The corn soup is on the thinner side! For the pudding a la mode, you can choose between strawberry or mandarin, and this time I opted for mandarin. It was topped with lots of luxurious fruits around and on top of the pudding – truly stunning! There’s also plenty of whipped cream, which I love. The pudding itself is firm with a strong cream flavor. I think everyone would love it! Everything is just so delicious! I definitely want to return – it's conveniently located right at Koiwa Station, and the atmosphere feels much nicer than you'd expect for a station cafe! There are counter seats as well as tables, making it perfect for solo diners. The menu is so extensive that I’m excited to come back and try more. I visited on a Sunday at 6 PM and was seated immediately, but by 6:30, the place was packed, so I recommend avoiding peak hours! They also offer takeout! #WesternStyleCafeKoyama #KoiwaDinner #WesternCafe #KoiwaCafe #KoiwaLunch #Gourmet #YuttanGourmet

Heard that you can enjoy traditional pudding at [Yoshoku Kissaten Koyama], so I had to check it out! I heard they have an adult version of a kid's lunch! I had to go for it! I ordered the Koyama Special (2,100 yen), the reason it’s called an adult's kid's lunch! Unlike the recent trends, the omelet rice was properly wrapped in eggs. Just that alone is irresistible, but it also came with a hamburger, spaghetti Napolitan, and a large shrimp fry with tartar sauce—like a playground for adults! Then there was the Stewed Hamburger (1,980 yen), everyone's favorite stewed hamburger! It was served wrapped in foil, giving it a regal presence. The miso soup was a nice touch as well. Finally, the pudding (700 yen) came out! A classic pudding with a satisfying weight, I couldn't help but get a bit excited like a child! The density was such that it didn't even wobble when I tapped it with a spoon ('ω'). As for my thoughts: the Koyama Special had an eye-catching appearance that really whet my appetite. The omelet rice, with its firm egg and nostalgic ketchup, brought back fond memories—truly satisfying! The stewed hamburger was visually impressive and tasted incredible with its rich stew and burger, making it a must-try dish. The pudding was perfectly sweet, not overly so, and its firm, voluminous texture made it a truly enjoyable dessert. If there were a location near my workplace, I would definitely go there frequently—such a wonderful experience packed into [Yoshoku Kissaten Koyama]!

I was drawn to a traditional Western-style restaurant and decided to give it a try. The portion was just right, and the food was simple yet delicious. By the way, they offer two types of omelette rice: the nostalgic one wrapped in an egg and the creamy, runny egg version. The miso soup that comes with the meal adds to the retro vibe, which I really enjoyed. You can also change to corn soup for an additional 200 yen. The hamburger was fluffy and very tasty. It gets busy during lunch hours, but I think the turnover is relatively fast.

This is a restaurant where you can enjoy traditional omurice and juicy hamburgers! The atmosphere is welcoming for both individuals and families, and being directly connected to the station is a big plus. On a cold winter day, I found myself wanting some simmered hamburger steak. The simmered hamburger was exquisite! I was also happy to have a large serving of rice! I will definitely visit again! Thank you for the meal!

With a Showa retro interior, this café is perfect for enjoying a meal, whether for lunch or dinner! It has a counter that's easy for solo diners, and the warm, stylish retro atmosphere, along with delicious nostalgic menu items, offers a soothing experience. ┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈ I was overwhelmed by the menu choices; everything looked so good that my indecisiveness kicked in. So, I ended up ordering five items! ■ Stewed Hamburger Steak ¥1980 This new luxurious dish features stew made from Hokkaido-sourced flaxseed beef. The meat is tender and melts in your mouth, and the juicy hamburger steak is truly a supreme stewed hamburger! My first impression when I tasted it was, "What is this?!" The rich flavor of the red wine and the depth of taste, combined with the umami of beef and vegetables, created an incredibly delicious stew with meat so tender that a knife isn't needed. Plus, the fluffy hamburger blends perfectly with the stew's flavors—it's the best! Everyone, you have to try it (seriously)! ┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈ ■ Special Set ¥2100 This features a classic wrap-style omelet rice, the signature hamburger, and two large shrimp fritters, along with a salad and spaghetti napolitana—it's a mountain of food! The omelet rice alone is quite filling. My mother, who was born in the Showa era, was impressed; the eggs were fluffy yet delicate, and the ketchup rice was simple but delicious! The hamburger was, of course, delicious, and the shrimp fritters were perfectly cooked—juicy shrimp encased in a light batter. I easily finished both large fritters! With the addition of the salad and spaghetti, it felt like an incredible deal and left us fully satisfied. ┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈ ■ Strawberry Pudding à la Mode ¥880 After the delightful meal, I looked forward to the pudding! My mother was so happy, saying it reminded her of the pudding she used to have at a nearby café. Honestly, it was the best pudding I've ever had, eclipsing everything I've eaten in my life before. It had a firm texture and rich flavor, so delicious! The combination of strawberry and whipped cream just made me celebrate in bliss. ┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈ ■ Mandarin Orange Pudding à la Mode ¥880 This pudding is served with plenty of juicy canned mandarin oranges—such a perfect match! This pudding is quite substantial as well; it could easily fill me up on its own, which is great for a sweet tooth like mine! ┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈ ■ Coffee Float ¥770 A retro-style float! While there were options like melon soda and cola, I was in the mood for black coffee, so I went with that. The ice cream was sweet and creamy vanilla, and even when melted, you could enjoy the bittersweetness. ┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈ That's all! The hamburgers, omelet rice, and puddings are all incredibly delicious, allowing you to enjoy the nostalgic atmosphere of a Western-style eatery. I visited on a weekday evening, and it wasn't crowded, which might have been a stroke of luck as I could walk in without waiting! However, I've heard that lunchtime can get busy. The stewed hamburger steak is a limited-time offering, so I recommend getting there early! ❤️‍

It's a restaurant directly connected to Koiwa Station, located inside the shop Shapo. When you search for "Koiwa gourmet" on TikTok, it’s the first result that comes up. Just like in the videos, the hamburger has an incredible juiciness that bursts out the moment you cut it! The Koyama set, which includes rice and miso soup, costs 1,600 yen, making it a great deal. I also appreciate that the rice comes with free refills. There were other menu items that caught my interest, so I definitely want to go back. Since it’s in the station, you can also earn JRE points!

Right at the entrance of Koiwa Chapeau, there's a counter where you can quickly enjoy delicious Western-style food even if you're alone! The set menu with omelette rice and hamburger comes with a little bit of spaghetti napolitan, which feels like an adult version of a kids' meal – so delightful! You can also get the omelette rice in a large serving for free (the photo shows a regular size). Next time, I want to try their pudding or cream soda for dessert!

This restaurant exudes a Showa retro vibe, yet it's a new establishment! Overall, the prices are on the higher side. It's a trendy Western-style café restaurant. I ordered the hamburger, expecting juicy meat to burst out, but there was no juice at all, and the plating was also unimpressive!

This restaurant is located in a commercial facility directly connected to Koiwa Station. I had been curious about it since seeing it on social media, so I decided to visit for lunch on a holiday. The interior has a warm retro vibe with wood tones and deep reds, creating a cozy atmosphere. The food samples displayed outside are also adorable and bring a smile to your face. Here’s what I had: _____________________ - Omurice & Mini Hamburger - Cheese Hamburger (with added Ebi Fry and Crab Cream Croquette) - Pudding - Strawberry Pudding à la Mode - Coffee Float _____________________ The omurice was beautifully presented, almost like a work of art. It felt like an adult version of a child’s lunch, and my excitement was palpable as it arrived. The ketchup rice paired with the fluffy egg delivered a nostalgic and delicious experience—simple is best. When I cut into the hamburger, I was amazed at the juice that flowed out. The meat was fluffy and juicy, while the melted cheese was pure bliss. It was so good, I wanted to dive into my rice! The added Ebi Fry and Crab Cream Croquette had a perfectly crispy coating and paired wonderfully with the homemade tartar sauce. For dessert, I had pudding and strawberry à la mode. Their cute appearance was almost too beautiful to eat, adding to my excitement. The pudding was firm yet smooth and rich in flavor. As someone who prefers firmer textures, it was perfect for me! Not only did the dishes look adorable, but the taste also felt exquisite and thoughtful. The staff were warm and friendly, making for a lovely experience overall. Thank you for the delicious meal!

I was craving classic Western cuisine and was surprised to find a restaurant at the train station. Customers were coming in one after another. I ordered the burger and shrimp fry set. The burger was quite soft, just as I expected. The shrimp fry was also perfectly sized—not too large, just right!

Koyama Western-style Café in Koiwa is a café located in Koiwa. Here’s a summary of what I ordered: - Hamburger & Ebi Fry (with Napolitan and salad): 1,400 yen + A set: 200 yen + Double Hamburger: 520 yen - Beef Stew Omurice with Chuck Roast: 1,500 yen - Float Melon Soda: 770 yen I wanted to enjoy a café dinner after a while, so I invited a college friend and visited the café around 7 PM on a Friday night in October 2024. The restaurant was about half full at that time. I was excited to order various items, so I went for the Hamburger & Ebi Fry (served with Napolitan and salad) along with the A set, and added a double hamburger. The hamburger is a recommended classic menu item at Koyama. It’s made with a high proportion of ground pork and is hand-kneaded and cooked on-site. The sauce is a rich, slightly sweet demi-glace that brings a nostalgic flavor everyone loves. The hamburger is juicy and tender; as soon as I cut into it, the meat juices flowed out. The deep flavor of the meat, combined with the sauce, makes it incredibly delicious – one of the best hamburgers I've had recently! The ebi fry was served as two large pieces. Its crisp texture was delightful, and the shrimp inside were big and juicy. Pouring some Worcestershire sauce over it brought back fond memories of childhood favorites – it was fantastic! The Napolitan had a wonderful chewy texture. The thick noodles were perfectly coated in a rich sauce, making it an irresistible dish. The salad was simply shredded cabbage with an Italian-style dressing, providing a crunchy texture and a refreshing taste that made it a perfect starter. The Beef Stew Omurice is a staple in cafés, and I chose a luxurious version with chuck roast. The generous pieces of tender beef were cooked to perfection and released a rich flavor with every bite. The stew sauce had a slightly bitter aftertaste, providing a grown-up flavor that kept it interesting. The omurice itself was wonderfully creamy, melting in your mouth – it was absolutely exquisite! For drinks, I ordered a Melon Soda float, which was vibrantly light green and perfectly sweet. The ice cream on top added a thick, rich sweetness, refreshing my palate after the rich meal. The café is just a short walk from Koiwa Station, located at the right side as you enter the Shapo Koiwa shopping area. The interior has a charming retro Showa-era vibe, creating a warm, relaxing atmosphere. There are 14 unique counter seats and four two-person tables, making a total of 22 seats. The customers ranged from solo diners to couples, friends, and families, reflecting the café's accessibility to various visitors. I don't often visit Koiwa, but I’m so glad to have experienced this retro café for my evening outing. It was delicious, thank you very much! (*´◒`*)

We went to this restaurant for a girls' gathering to enjoy some traditional Western cuisine. It's located near the ticket gates of Koiwa's Shapo, so it's quite busy and lively, but that's to be expected since it's right next to the station. I ordered the shoulder beef stew omurice, which is the type that isn't wrapped up. My friends had the hamburger omurice and a large portion of omurice. The beef stew had a slightly bitter depth to it, and there was a generous piece of meat, but I did notice it was a bit dry and tough. For dessert, we decided we had to try the pudding, but unfortunately, it was still setting and not ready. What a shame—it seems to be a popular item! Overall, it was delicious. Thank you for the meal!

A café enthusiast explores a variety of sweets ➤➤ @coconattu._ It’s a versatile café where you can enjoy not only delicious desserts but also cute puddings. It’s conveniently located just outside the station, making it easy to visit! With both table and counter seating, every spot is adorable. The food is delicious, with a rich flavor in the ketchup rice that leaves you feeling satisfied! You can choose the portion size for the omelette rice (large, medium, or small) at the same price, which is a nice touch! The ice cream in the cream soda is tasty, and there are four flavors (Blue Hawaii, melon soda, cola, and coffee) that are colorful and perfect for photos! Even though I was full, I managed to enjoy the pudding as it was so delicious with a strong caramel sauce. Order details: - Hamburger & shrimp fry: 1400 yen (comes with spaghetti and salad) - Classic omelette rice: 990 yen (comes with spaghetti and salad) - Melon soda: 770 yen - Blue Hawaii: 770 yen - Pudding: 770 yen

Upon exiting the ticket gate at Koiwa Station, you will find a Western-style café inside the Shapo shopping complex (it's just about a 10-second walk from the entrance). Visiting around noon, I was immediately enveloped by a nostalgic atmosphere, with the retro charm of the show windows and décor reminiscent of the Showa era. As I looked at the menu, I was delighted to see a variety of comforting Western dishes like hamburg steak, omelette rice, and shrimp fry—familiar foods from my childhood that sparked my inner child. I ordered the "Special Set" for 2,100 yen and a "Pudding" for dessert priced at 770 yen. I was informed that the hamburg steak takes about 15 minutes to prepare, and they confirmed if that was okay with me. When the Special Set arrived, it featured a plate of Napolitan pasta and a salad, a sweetly flavored chicken rice omelette, a juicy mini hamburg, and two generously sized shrimp fries that towered over the plate. It was a gluttonous dish where you could enjoy all the classic Western menu items in one go—sort of like an adult version of a child's lunch plate. The omelette rice was a bit firm and quite filling, while the hamburg was rich in meatiness and juicy. The Napolitan pasta was traditional and quite average. Personally, I found the shrimp fries to be crispy and flavorful, needing no extra tartar sauce to enhance their taste. However, the portion size is substantial, and it might be challenging for women to finish it all. For dessert, the pudding was served in a cute dish, slightly firm but creamy, not overly sweet, and paired well with the caramel. Overall, while the prices are somewhat on the higher side, I think it's worth a visit for those who are curious. Payment options include cash, credit cards, and various transportation IC cards (you can also earn JRE points).

Western-style Cafe Koyama @ Koiwa────────────────────◎ Special Set ¥2,100◎ Hamburger & Ebi Fry ¥1,400 + B Set (Rice, Corn Potage) +¥350────────────────────\ A dream retro café has been born ‍ /Directly connected to Koiwa Station! A dream retro café has exploded onto the scene ☕️ The visually stunning Western-style menu and the cute retro vibe of the red logo are just too adorable ❤️‍ The highlight of the restaurant is the juicy hamburger that overflows with flavor...✨ If you're confident in your appetite, I recommend ordering the Special Set, which feels like an adult lunch! The dessert, a custard pudding, is said to be the same as the famous shop Nihonbashi Brewery T.S in Nihonbashi. The pudding has a perfect firmness and a delightful texture, and it's great for sharing between two people since it's a larger size. ✨

I visited a restaurant located inside Koiwa Station on the Sobu Line around 1 PM on a Sunday, and there were quite a few empty seats at the counter. It's rare to find an established洋食 (Western-style) restaurant in a station's interior. The place looks new and clean. This time, I ordered the Japanese-style grated daikon hamburger (890 yen). The rice and miso soup set was about 250 yen, and the rice is refillable. The hamburger was fluffy and juicy, and the sauce was delicious. I'm envious that such a place exists in the station.

Gourmet Tour: Just a 1-minute walk from Koiwa Station! "Western Cuisine Cafe Koyama" @kissakoyama - Opened on March 25, 2024 At this restaurant, you can enjoy nostalgic retro interiors while savoring classic western dishes such as "omelette rice," "hamburgers," and "deep-fried shrimp." The hamburgers are particularly noteworthy, as they come as part of most menu items. Made with a higher proportion of pork in the ground meat, these juicy hamburgers paired with a rich demi-glace sauce are simply the best! With other appealing menu options, deciding what to order can be quite a challenge! The restaurant is directly connected to Koiwa Station, making it very accessible. With many counter seats, it’s easy for solo diners to stop by spontaneously. For dessert, you can choose from firm "pudding," "cheesecake," and "floats," making it a great spot for a waiting rendezvous or a short break. The cheerful and friendly staff also provide wonderful service, making it a retro cafe that you’ll want to visit again! ───────────────────── What I ordered: 【Food】 - Hamburger & Deep-Fried Shrimp / ¥1600 (including Napolitan pasta & cabbage) - Miso Soup → changed to Corn Potage / ¥200 - Pudding / ¥770 【Drink】 - Float (melon soda) / ¥770 Hamburger & Deep-Fried Shrimp: This time, I chose the hamburger and deep-fried shrimp! It was nice to have cabbage and Napolitan pasta included. The hamburger, freshly cooked after ordering, was hot and delicious! I can never get tired of this. The deep-fried shrimp paired perfectly with the homemade tartar sauce, creating an exquisite combination of crunchy texture and delightful flavors. I regret not trying the omelette rice; it looked delicious too! Pudding: For dessert, I ordered pudding. The firm pudding, topped with whipped cream and a cherry, was incredibly retro. Its moist texture brings a sense of nostalgia. I hope this flavor continues for a long time! Float (melon soda): I chose the melon soda float among the four options (melon soda, blue Hawaii, cola, coffee). The cute appearance of the float is Instagrammable! Of course, it tastes great, and the slightly carbonated melon soda goes well with the hamburger! 【Seating Capacity】22 seats 【Operating Hours】Open daily from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM Closed: According to facility regulations 【Wait Time】Visited on a weekday at 12:00 PM. No wait (reservation available).

The interior has a calming Showa retro atmosphere, but the restaurant itself just opened this March, so it's very clean! Just looking at the menu makes my excitement unstoppable♡ It features a lot of familiar Western-style dishes that remind me of my childhood☺️ Everyone will feel nostalgic and their eyes will light up with joy; there are so many appealing dishes that you'll definitely have a tough time choosing! Being a bit greedy, I decided to order the "Special Set." It includes classic Western dishes served on one plate. The omelette rice is flavorful with a sweet ketchup seasoning, the mini hamburger is juicy, and there are two large shrimp tempuras towering impressively on the plate✨ Since there's always room for dessert (n times over), I couldn't resist trying some "classic café menu items," so I ordered dessert too! Everything looked delicious, so my friends and I shared a coffee float, pudding, and cheesecake♪ The pudding, topped with a cherry and whipped cream, is visually stunning and has a slightly firm yet rich flavor. It pairs perfectly with the slightly bitter caramel sauce◎
