kimumiyu
Located inside the municipal office (or rather, inside the civic hall), this is a restaurant that operates only on weekdays. It was my second visit, this time alone. I ordered the tempura set meal for 630 yen, which included tempura of shungiku (edible chrysanthemum), eggplant, maitake mushroom, potato, pickled ginger, shrimp, and shishito pepper - I think there were 8 types in total, but I forgot one. It was my first time trying pickled ginger tempura. I think anything tastes delicious when it's fried tempura style, is it just me? It came with dipping sauce, salad, miso soup, and rice. There was a TV and plenty of magazines and manga available. Most people were reading manga. There are still more menu items I want to try, so I'm thinking about what to order next time. I will start from the top left and work my way down. Thank you for the meal.
I visited this place for the first time since I had thought about it before but found it difficult to enter, so I gave up. Why did I give up last time? Maybe because I was young and inexperienced? I wasn't used to going to different places yet? Now, I had no problem entering and felt at ease. It was a bit past 1 pm, so it was not crowded. There was one group of customers already there, and later a woman who seemed like a staff member came alone. I wondered if they also buy food tickets? I thought to myself, but I ordered at the reception area and received a numbered ticket. When my number was called, I went to pick up my order. While waiting, I helped myself to tea and water from the pots provided. There were various menu items, and I was undecided, but I chose the limited-time oyster fry set meal for 600 yen. It came with plenty of cabbage, rice, miso soup, and pickles. My companion ordered the chicken nanban set meal for 600 yen, which came with plenty of tartar sauce and kinpira gobou (braised burdock root). The portions were generous, and for this price, it was a good deal. Thank you for the meal!
