We visited for lunch on a weekday with two people. The location is about a 4-5 minute walk from the A3 exit of Tokyo Skytree Station, near Honjo High School. It's a café located across from a well-known bakery in the area called "Kamepan," which raised our expectations for delicious bread. We entered the café at 12:50 PM. The interior is spacious and clean, with over 10 tables for four. Orders are placed through a QR code. We ordered the "Hamburger Set with Tomato Sauce" for 1,480 yen and the "Butter Chicken Curry Set" for 1,480 yen, planning to share. Lunch comes with a "Salad Bar and Unlimited Bread" included. While waiting for our food, we went to get bread and salad from the bar. The available breads were butter rolls, baguettes, and ciabatta—three types. We were hoping for a bit more variety, so we were a bit disappointed. Perhaps due to the timing, there were fewer bread options and less quantity. There was an oven toaster available for us to warm the bread ourselves. The salad bar also had limited options and quantity, which was disappointing. About ten minutes after ordering, our "Tomato Sauce Hamburger" arrived, followed by the "Butter Chicken Curry" after another ten minutes. The curry took a bit longer to arrive. The hamburger was delicious with its tomato sauce, but the patty itself was soft, feeling like it had a bit more filler than desired. The curry was mild in spiciness with a rich flavor, which paired nicely with the bread. There was also a good amount of chicken in the curry, which was great. Thank you for the meal!

About a 4-5 minute walk from Oshiage Station, along Kome Street, there is a café located across from Kamepan Mukojima. (Visited on Saturday around 8:30 PM. There was one group of three customers ahead of us, and one group of two after us.) I ordered the Cheese Hamburg Set from Curry Bancho, which comes with unlimited bread and a salad bar. The Curry Bancho is one of the curry buns from Kamepan, and it's served over the cheese hamburger. The curry has very little spiciness, making it quite easy to eat, paired with a smooth and mild cheese hamburger. I also tried the Tomato Cream Fresh Pasta Set, which features tomatoes and black olives in a mild and creamy tomato sauce. The fresh pasta is thick, with a slightly soft and chewy texture. On this day, the unlimited bread selection had four types, which felt a bit lacking. The salad bar offered fresh vegetables, including young corn, quail eggs, potato salad, and cherry tomatoes, which were all really fresh. Thank you for the meal!

I visited a cafe I've been curious about for lunch on Saturday. It's run by Kamepan, located across the road, and offers freshly baked bread. I originally wanted to order the pork stew, but it was already sold out, so I opted for the green curry instead. My companion ordered the French onion gratin soup. Both meals came with unlimited bread and a salad bar, so we enjoyed those while waiting for our main dishes. The bread selection included five types: white bread, butter rolls, baguettes, bread de Roddave, and ciabatta. There are two high-end toasters available (Balmuda and Aladdin) for use. The breads are all wheat-flavored, so I recommend eating them with the main dish or dipping them in olive oil and salt and pepper from the salad bar. For an additional 200 yen, you can use the drink bar, which has a variety of options. The coffee machine seems to be quite good, as the cafe mocha and cappuccino were delicious!

A popular local spot, Kamepan Mukojima recently opened its own cafe right in front of the main store. At first, it was always busy, so I waited for things to calm down before making a reservation. I was able to easily book a spot on the same day, even on the weekend. The system seems to allow unlimited access to bread and salad. The breads offered weren't pastries but rather focused on savory options like baguettes. On this day, there were rustic loaves and ciabattas available. There wasn’t any sliced bread, but that might just be for lunch. An Aladdin toaster was available to warm the bread. The salad bar was surprisingly well-stocked. While the base greens were just leaf lettuce and mizuna, there were various toppings like tomatoes, olives, tuna, and onion chips to enjoy. With four types of dressing available, it didn’t get boring. I sipped beer while enjoying the bread, but the real highlight was undoubtedly the ajillo. I had shirasu (baby sardines) ajillo, and it was the perfect match for the bread. The cheese hamburger was also good, but the ajillo was the star. Dipping warm bread into the ajillo while sipping my beer was bliss, with occasional bites of salad. The restaurant itself is relatively cozy, and the menu is limited. I thought it would be a nice place to come whenever I wanted to make bread the main part of my meal.

I visited the bakery because I wanted to enjoy wine and snacks at night. Since it’s a bakery, I chose dishes that pair well with bread, like ajillo and pâté, and took my time drinking wine. The staff was very friendly as well. I heard there’s a salad bar and unlimited bread, so I’m planning to use it for lunch next time.

The price of vegetables is skyrocketing. Even if I want to buy them, it’s hard to justify the cost, so I thought, why not indulge in a salad bar and get my fill of veggies? That’s how I ended up having breakfast at this place. I arrived around 9 AM. The restaurant is about a five-minute walk from Oshiage Station, located along Koume Street. It’s a café that was opened this year by the popular bakery Kamepan Mukojima, which is right across the street. Typically, they only serve lunch and dinner, but on weekends and holidays, they offer a morning menu (8:30 AM to 11:00 AM) as well. The interior is surprisingly spacious, with table seating and one private room. The morning menu is as follows, and you can add a salad bar to any menu item for an extra 330 yen: - Toast Morning Set (748 yen): Unlimited toast + drink bar - Onion Gratin Soup and Morning Set (968 yen): Onion gratin soup + unlimited toast + drink bar - Soft-Boiled Egg Toast Sandwich (968 yen): Soft-boiled egg toast sandwich + drink bar - Special Ketchup-Topped Bread Dog (968 yen): Bread dog + drink bar - Tender Fillet Katsu Sandwich (1,298 yen): Fillet katsu sandwich + drink bar - Kids Morning Set (528 yen): Unlimited toast + drink bar + salad bar After paying at the counter, you can choose any seat you like. The bread is soft and chewy, made from the famous Kamepan bread, and you can choose between thinly sliced or thickly sliced bread. They have a lineup of popular toasters from brands like Balmuda, Aladdin, and DeLonghi, allowing you to toast the bread to your liking. Besides coffee, they also offer espresso, café latte, cocoa, tea, carbonated water, and various syrups so you can mix your favorite drinks. The salad bar features lettuce, mizuna, cherry tomatoes, seaweed, bell peppers, red onions, corn, young corn, and cucumbers, with four types of dressings available. I tried the Toast Morning Set (748 yen) with the salad bar (330 yen). Comparing toasting methods, I found that thickly sliced bread plus the Balmuda toaster was my favorite. You get butter or peanut butter, so I either made buttered toast or a veggie sandwich with lots of dressing. The vegetables were quite fresh, especially the cherry tomatoes, which were sweet and delicious. They continually replenished the salad bar, which was a big plus. The drinks from the machine were also great, and I ended up refilling my café latte several times. I felt satisfied after being able to eat so many vegetables for the first time in a while (*´∀`*). If I had to make a suggestion, I’d love to have more protein options, like eggs or ham. The Kids Morning Set is very affordable, making it a good choice for families. Thank you for the meal!

I am impressed by the incredible passion of people who spend amazing amounts of money on merchandise and related products for their favorite idols. However, I’ve also witnessed the intense backlash when their favorite idol is reported to be in a romantic relationship or gets married, which shows another level of emotion. There’s a theory that unrequited love feels good because it seems attainable yet remains out of reach. I wonder how Dokin-chan from Anpanman would react if she came to this store? Today’s breakfast is at #KamepanCafe, which offers an all-you-can-eat toast morning meal on weekends and holidays. I found out by chance that a new location has opened directly across the street from the #Kamepan store where I previously bought breakfast, so I decided to check it out. I ordered the French onion gratin soup and the morning set. There’s a system where you can choose between butter or peanut butter, and I went with butter. I received my butter along with a number tag and took a seat. While I was pondering my next move, I was informed about cups in a drawer, so I made myself an iced cocoa. The taste of cold chocolate was a refreshing way to wake up. Next, I put some thinly sliced #toast into the toaster, and moments later it popped out with gusto. I rescued it and slathered on some generous amounts of butter, and that alone was a delightful treat. The rich aroma of wheat and the chewy texture made for a happy experience. About five minutes later, the #French onion gratin soup arrived. The generous amount of minced onions provided a wonderful sweetness combined with the flavor of consomme and the comforting taste of cheese. I wondered if there was bread inside the soup—delicious! To enjoy even more delicious bread, I decided to toast a thick slice using the Balmuda toaster. Despite being thick, the #bread had an even chewier texture that seemed to pop even more. At the drink bar, I was tempted by craft cola, which is not commonly found, but I opted for coffee. They also have other toast sandwiches and lunch and dinner menus, so I look forward to visiting again.

I went to the turtle bread cafe because they were offering a discount on shaved ice. Since it's usually crowded at lunchtime, I went a little after 1:30 PM. Luckily, there was one seat available, so I was able to enter right away! The flavors of shaved ice available were mango, matcha, and strawberry, if I remember correctly. They also provided extra syrup, so I could pour it on if I needed more flavor. As I ate, I found that there was plenty of red bean paste inside, which was delicious!

The lunch menu includes a wonderful salad bar, drink bar, and all-you-can-eat bread. It's no surprise that the bread is delicious since it's a café run by a fantastic bakery across the road. They typically offer 3 or 4 types of bread, so you won’t get bored. There are also a few menu items like pizza toast, which are very filling. My personal favorite is the curry hamburger. It’s hot, juicy, and pairs perfectly with the bread. If you visit on the weekend, it's best to make a reservation, but if you’re lucky, you might get a table without one.

A café has opened across from Kamepan. It has a salad bar and a drink bar, providing a comfortable space to relax. The meals, like pizza, looked delicious too. They also serve alcohol. Individual billing is available, making it convenient to use. I would definitely like to visit again when I have the chance.

I visited a breakfast place called Asapan, which offers all-you-can-eat bread. You order and pay at the entrance before heading to your table. I ordered a set that comes with onion soup. You can choose either butter or peanut butter to go with it. The buffet table had both thick and thin slices of bread, and there are four toasters available if you want to toast your bread. The drink bar was stylish, featuring a coffee machine along with a syrup and carbonated water dispenser. The bread was chewy and delicious. It would be even better if there were more varieties available.

I had lunch at this restaurant that a friend recommended. I had been to the bakery across the street, but this was my first time at the cafe. The lunch system is wonderful; when you order a main dish, you can enjoy unlimited bread and a salad bar. I ordered the popular pork stew. It was around 1,500 yen and I was very satisfied with the meal. It's a place I want to visit again.

This was our second time enjoying lunch here. Since we were a group of four, we ordered four different dishes. The pork stew, which everyone raved about, was so generous that we could have shared it between two people, and it pairs perfectly with endless bread! The chicken curry was also served in a pot and plentiful. The drinks menu has a good selection of cold beverages. I found the coffee's flavor lacking, so I opted for tea instead, but I would be happier if there were a few more varieties of tea bags, like Earl Grey.

I finally got to visit a restaurant that offers unlimited bread and a drink bar, which I had been wanting to try! I ordered the main dish as a hamburger and also got a shirasu (whitebait) ajillo. The breads were mostly on the harder side! Dipping the bread in the ajillo and hamburger sauce was absolutely delicious! I wondered how much I could eat with the unlimited bread, but I quickly became full and couldn't eat that much, haha. The drink bar had a wide variety of choices, and I enjoyed it a lot. I definitely want to go again for lunch next time!

I recently visited a café that opened across the street from my favorite bakery, Kamepan, which is my personal number one for lunch on holidays. I had been curious about it since it often has a long line, so I finally decided to check it out. I made a reservation for the opening time at 11:30 AM, but there was still quite a line. Reservations are essential. To summarize my thoughts, it wasn't as good as I had hoped. The selection of bread was mostly plain types like white bread and rolls, with no savory or sweet buns. Even though it’s a buffet, you can't really just eat bread continuously. The salad bar was pretty standard; the ingredients were fresh with no wilting, but the cut veggies seemed to have been prepared the day before, and the edges of some were noticeably oxidized. For the main meals, they offered four types of dishes that pair well with bread, like beef stew and curry. Most people seemed to be ordering the beef stew, but I went with a hamburger because I simply wanted that, and I also ordered onion gratin soup to warm up. This may have been a bit of a mistake since it wasn’t the best match with the buffet bread. The hamburger came with a lot of cheese, but it was cheese sauce rather than 100% cheese, lacking richness. The hamburger itself was more fluffy than meaty, which might appeal to women. The onion gratin soup was tasty, but since I’m not a fan of dipping bread in soup, I ended up drinking the soup on its own. The drink bar was quite different from typical ones you find at places like Saizeriya, featuring a range of specialty syrups (though I can't confirm if they were 100% fruit juice). It’s a good deal for those who want to sip on drinks leisurely. One thing to note is that when the café opens, there’s a rush of customers, making it tough to grab bread, salad, or drinks. There's only one toaster, so you might face a wait there as well. The bread is quite cold and dry if you don’t warm it up, but toasting revives its delightful chewy and crispy texture. It’s stroller-friendly, and there are quite a few families with children. The staff was polite, and there are two private rooms at the back. Being a new establishment, the restroom was clean, and there’s a smoking area right before it (though I wonder if it’s necessary; maybe they wanted to prevent people from smoking right outside and affecting the café's image). Kamepan's baguette is crispy and chewy, and their white bread is also deliciously chewy, but personally, I think their specialty lies in the savory bread, so I’d prefer to stick to the shop across the street. Given the café's nearly 1500 yen price point, I’m not likely to return.

I absolutely love the café at Kameya. I thought it would definitely be delicious, and it didn't disappoint at all. Of course, if you compare it to top-tier places, there's always something more, but for this price, it's more than enough. The staff were very pleasant, and their response was quick, making for a comfortable experience. Being a bakery café, the unlimited bread was really tasty. There were many varieties, which was a delight. While it's common to have sweet and savory breads available for unlimited servings, they didn't offer those. Places like Kobeya or Sanmaruku were almost nonexistent either, and since the main dishes are quite rich in flavor, the several plain bread options were sufficient. They have a toaster available as well. Moreover, it's a great deal for both women and men to have unlimited bread and a salad bar. While the lunch menu isn't extensive, it is adequate, and I highly recommend the pork stew that's only available at dinner. By the way, the portion is sharable. I plan to try every menu item! As for drinks, you can either choose single items or opt for an all-you-can-drink option. Given that it's unlimited, the overall quality of soft drinks isn't particularly high, but the variety (especially the syrups) and the fun of mixing with sodas make up for it. Being a bakery, it would be great to have delicious coffee too, but that’s just my own thought. By the way, the shirasu ajillo on the dinner menu is outstanding! I was so into eating that I forgot to take pictures as usual towards the end.

I love kamepan and visit frequently. A café has opened, but I still don't have detailed information about the menu. Since the kameya bread is cheap on Sundays, I decided to stop by. If I had known there was an all-you-can-eat bread and salad bar, I would have skipped my meal! The hamburger was small but delicious. The most popular dish, the stew, had tender vegetables and meat.

I visited for breakfast. I ordered the onion gratin soup set, along with a salad bar and a drink bar, which came to about 1,300 yen per person. The restaurant offers unlimited bread, although there are no savory breads available. However, I was able to enjoy it with butter or peanut butter, which was delicious. There is a toaster in the restaurant, so you can heat or toast the bread to your liking. Although it takes a bit of effort, I think this is a great breakfast option for the price. I also looked at the lunch and dinner menus, and they offer a wide variety of options (such as pasta, pizza bread, and ajillo), so I definitely plan to visit again.
