Today is a holiday! I visited Anan, a grill-your-own meat restaurant in Teradacho, Osaka, and ordered the all-you-can-eat barbecue and all-you-can-drink soft drinks. It's quite popular, even on the second floor of a mixed-use building. The highlight of the all-you-can-eat menu is their Nakaochi Kalbi (short rib), which is truly delicious! While everything else is good, this Nakaochi Kalbi is simply the best. I went for the Anan course, which cost 2,593 yen per person, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The last order is 90 minutes after you start, which is just right. It's also great that they're open year-round and until the early morning! Please support by clicking below!

The cost performance is great! At An An Karubi, you can drink as much as you want, haha. The must-order items are the An An Karubi and beef tongue. I even kept asking for more of the cabbage dressed in salt sauce. It's recommended to go early in the evening when it's relatively less crowded! Plus, I love how quickly the drinks come out!

This is a restaurant located in Teradacho called "AnAn." True to its name, the prices are incredibly cheap! It's a reasonable place, perfect for having a quick drink. I think it's popular among young people! The interior has dividers between the tables, so you can enjoy your meal comfortably. Grilling meat on a shichirin (grill) is great! The combination of offal and beer is the best!! "AnAn" is just a 2-minute walk from Teradacho Station.

I really messed up again today! (laughs) I had a total of 33 dishes and drinks for 4,800 yen, including tax. The taste was average, but I'm satisfied! (laughs) Yesterday, I saw a cute female staff member for the first time. Not only does she fill my stomach, but she also seems to fill my heart! I visited with a friend! Since it was a weekday night, the place was not crowded. The menu offered both all-you-can-eat and a la carte options, and we decided to go with a la carte this time. The prices for the individual items were surprisingly good in terms of cost performance! Grilling meat on a shichirin (a small grill) was delicious as always! The meat was tender, and the overall value was excellent. It was a wallet-friendly yakiniku restaurant!

I was really happy to find that the pork horumon in the all-you-can-eat course had been replaced with beef horumon. Ordering is now smoother since it's done via a touch panel. The pork belly is thick, making it very satisfying to eat.

"Wine pools and meat forests" perfectly describes the all-you-can-eat and all-you-can-drink course here. I want to come back again and again.

I ordered à la carte with a friend, and I was satisfied with the smoothness of the ordering process, the quick delivery, and the affordable prices. However, one thing that concerned me was that the salted tongue I ordered came out frozen solid.

The cost-performance (CP) here is good. The first time I visited, I used a coupon and ate for half price, and since then, I’ve been using it as a reasonably priced place to eat with friends nearby. I haven't drunk much alcohol so far, so I've been enjoying green tea and oolong tea, which used to be about 100 yen a cup, making them cheaper than the all-you-can-drink option. With good CP, I think the meat quality is about what you’d expect. However, I was really craving various meats like marucho, and unfortunately this time, the price of green tea and oolong tea has gone up to around 190 yen (now the same price as other soft drinks). For a chain barbecue restaurant, I think the alcohol prices are reasonable.
One downside is that the size of the offal seems to have gotten smaller. I wonder if they’ve been cutting them into bite-sized pieces more carefully? The first time I went, the pieces were larger, and I was happy about that. In recent visits, the offal has been on the smaller side. Overall, I think this is a nice place to enjoy good CP while sipping drinks and gradually picking at meat and offal. Recently, for meat all-you-can-eat options, I personally find that the all-you-can-eat beef fat meat and large slice of harami at the barbecue restaurant "Iban" offer good CP. If I’m craving offal, I might consider this place again (though I’m thinking about it since the quality seems to have dropped a bit since the summer Canadian beef fair).

We went as a family. Overall, the menu had about half as many options as other places, but the prices were low. This time we chose the all-you-can-eat option, but there’s a two-hour limit, so next time I think we'll order a la carte. The taste corresponds to the low prices, but for that price range, it's acceptable. The smoke control was perfect, and the restaurant was clean. There were plenty of seats, and reservations can be made, so being close to the station is a plus. I think it’s a good place.

A Blissful Experience for Just 1,600 Yen – Teradacho Yakiniku An-An – February 2016.
Back when I used to drink and wander around the Tennoji area quite a bit, there was a time when the now-defunct discount coupon service "Ponpare" was selling tickets. They had an incredible deal: all-you-can-eat and all-you-can-drink for just 1,600 yen! So I decided to check it out. The location is in the fiercely competitive area for cheap izakayas in Teradacho, right across from Torikizoku at Yakiniku An-An.
The beer served is not a low-grade brew but the real deal, (real!) Asahi Super Dry, and they even replace your glass with a chilled mug each time you order a refill. You can choose any item from the entire menu as much as you want, including side dishes and desserts!
Even though the image is sideways, the abundance of grilled offal cooked on a charcoal grill using shichirin was truly satisfying, along with thick slices of red meat that filled both the belly and the heart. Just to clarify, the all-you-can-eat and drink for 1,600 yen per person was a special price for the Ponpare ticket (probably half off). Ah, how nostalgic those Ponpare tickets feel now. I think I'll try to visit An-An again sometime soon!
