自称独り者グルメ
On November 2024, I had dinner in Toyocho. After getting off at Kiba Station on the Tokyo Metro and heading east on "Eitai Street" from Exit 1, I arrived at my destination, "Toyocho Taishu Yakiniku Boin Boushoku." This place is currently accepting reservations for year-end parties! It’s just a 5-minute walk from Kiba Station and 6 minutes from Toyocho, and it's a yakiniku restaurant where you can fully enjoy carefully selected meats. The restaurant’s note stated: "If you're planning to use our restaurant for your year-end parties (for 8 or more people), please contact us by phone or through Instagram DMs. Following our locations in Hiroo, Musashikosugi, Nakameguro, and Yotsuya Sanchome, we have now opened a new store in Toyocho! On days you eat yakiniku, forget about low-carb diets, dieting, or abstaining from alcohol, and go ahead and indulge! Come hungry! We are now accepting reservations for November! Private parties and group reservations are also available. We look forward to seeing you all!"
I had visited all five locations of this chain, and the lively atmosphere in the restaurant was great. I met my companions and we took a seat at a table. I kicked things off with a toast using their always-entertaining 90-yen draft beer (the price always makes me laugh) (`・з・)ノU☆Uヽ(・ω・´). That evening, I indulged in their 8,690-yen "Boushoku Course," which included:
1. A mountain of white kimchi - a truly generous portion of well-pickled, crispy, and delicious kimchi, starting the meal with vegetables (*'ω'*).
2. A three-meat platter featuring tongue, sagari, and the omakase portion - The tongue was delightful on its own and even better with a squeeze of lemon. The sagari had an exquisite flavor profile, while the mino had a uniquely pleasant texture and rich taste ( ´艸`). I also enjoyed a 90-yen lemon sour here.
3. Large rice - I promptly asked for rice to enjoy with my meats (*゚∀゚)ノ€[rice].
4. Grilled vegetables (bell peppers and eggplant) - A nice addition between the meats, and bell peppers were tasty even raw.
5. A mountain of lettuce - I used it to wrap the karubi (beef rib) for added enjoyment (´・∀・`).
6. Boushoku Karubi (Salt) - The ribeye with loads of green onion salt was presented. A handsome staff member grilled it perfectly while mixing in the green onions (Σ(゚∀゚ノ)ノ). Eating it just before it was overdone made it absolutely delicious—no competition in deliciousness! (*>∇<)ノ I had another 90-yen highball here.
7. Large rice again - I couldn't resist asking for more rice (〃艸〃)ムフッ.
8. Boushoku Karubi (Sauce) - Next, they served the saucy ribeye, and after mixing well with our tongs, grilling it, and then dipping it in egg yolk, the punchy flavor experience was delightful, and I enjoyed it wrapped in lettuce or on rice, with many fun ways to enjoy this dish (●´ω`●). I also had a 90-yen soda with black Kirishima here.
9. Cold noodles for dessert - For the finale, they offered another serving of karubi, but after two big bowls of rice, I decided to pass (n*´ω`*n). The refreshing cold noodles were still delicious even after indulging so much ( ´∀`)bグッ!
The total bill came to about 9,000 yen per person, which was extremely reasonable. If you can manage to get a reservation at this restaurant, consider yourself lucky (^_-)-☆ Thank you for the invitation! <(_ _)>
