In a clean and stylish interior, there are smiling female staff members. I thought about ordering either Khao Man Gai or Gapao Rice, but since the curry dishes also come with rice, I decided to order the Massaman Curry for ¥1408. Instead of regular water, they served a delicious corn tea. As soon as I tasted it, I realized it was the sweetest curry I've ever had. While there is a nice balance of spice and the richness of coconut, the sweetness from sugar dominates the flavor. Based on the seasoning, it seems that Khao Man Gai would have been a better choice.

I went to a restaurant that my friend recommended, saying it's supposed to be delicious! The menu had so many options that I was overwhelmed! But I knew I couldn't skip the som tam! I know it's spicy, but I have to have it! The meatballs were sold out, so I ordered skewers instead. Then there was pad thai. I was also tempted by khao man gai and gapao, but today it had to be pad thai. For a drink, I got mango lassi. So many of my favorites! The som tam wasn’t too spicy at first, but then it gradually hit me with the spice, haha. But that's what makes it so good! I knew that! The lassi gently soothes the burning sensation on my tongue! The skewers came with an amazing dipping sauce! Of course, the pad thai was a winner. Oh no, now I want to try everything else too! However, because of my stomach's condition and our reservation, we had to stop here for today! I’m so curious about the gapao! My friend and I excitedly chatted as we wrapped things up for the day! It was absolutely delicious! I'll definitely come back!

I visited for the first time and had Khao Soi. It was very delicious! I love Khao Soi, so I was really happy to see it on the lunch menu. The lunch came with rice and dessert, and I was very satisfied! The restaurant was clean, and the staff provided polite service. I will definitely come back to eat here again!

This restaurant is located a short walk from the south exit of Kinshichō Station. It might be a bit hard to spot, but you'll know it when you see it. The shop has a cute name: Aroi-chan. Inside, there are about eight table seats and a few counter seats. When I arrived around 11:05, there was one customer already there. The menu offers standard dishes like Gapao rice, Khao Man Gai, green curry, and Pad Thai, all priced at 980 yen. There are also various other options that cost just over 1,000 yen. I wasn't very familiar with the dish called Pad See Ew. I was a bit indecisive, but I eventually chose the Gapao rice. First, I was served soup, which was delicious. The main dish arrived after about five minutes, and I was given some fish sauce (nam pla) on the side. The Gapao rice had a fried egg on top and three slices of cucumber on the side. When I tasted it, I found it quite tasty. It was a bit salty, but not overwhelmingly so. The spiciness was moderate, so there's no need to brace yourself. Personally, I would have preferred a bit more basil flavor, but it was still delicious. I added a little more fish sauce midway, which turned out to be quite spicy—so be careful with that. The runny egg yolk can help balance the spiciness if you handle it well. The rice was likely Japanese rice. For dessert, I had tapioca milk, which was pretty good. Overall, the place offers good value for money and is quite convenient. It doesn't feel suspicious at all, making it an easy spot for solo women to visit.

I was in the mood for Khao Man Gai for lunch, so I chose this Thai restaurant recommended by a friend, among several options in Kinshicho. The Khao Man Gai was really delicious. I’m also curious about other menu items, so I'd love to come back again. Thank you for the meal!

The restaurant I was aiming for was closed, so I ended up choosing this place on a whim. The interior is bright and stylish! The menu is also adorable! We tried various dishes, and everything was delicious. They might have toned down the spiciness compared to the original, making it easier to eat! The service from the waitress was great too! I will definitely come back!

I visited a newly opened Thai restaurant called Aroi-chan in Kinshicho. I ordered Khao Man Gai. It's surprisingly hard to find places that serve Khao Man Gai for lunch, so I was happy to have it here. The taste was delicious, and you can also add mini Tom Yum Goong and mini Gapao. It was really tasty. Thank you for the meal! I will come back again.

In a bustling and trendy area of Kinshicho, featured in recent dramas, there's a cozy Thai restaurant. The name carries a nuance like "Delicious!" Thai cuisine is known for its aromatic ingredients like lemongrass and cilantro, combined with a perfect balance of sourness, spiciness, and sweetness. Seeking this complex and addictive exotic flavor as a summer appetite stimulator, I visited on a Saturday night. The cafe-like, clean interior has nearly 20 seats, including counter and table options. The high-quality signature dishes are crafted by a Thai chef and her team, all women, creating a family-like atmosphere. You can enjoy these dishes at an affordable price. I managed to tackle the spicy flavors of dishes like basil rice and tom yum soup (with the help of a mango lassi), which are generally mild and adjusted for Japanese tastes. The friendly and attentive service is truly reflective of Thai hospitality, making it a great establishment.

I visited on a weekday just after noon and managed to get a seat just in time (◡ ω ◡). I ordered the Gapao Rice for 980 yen, and it was served hot within about 5 minutes. Before that, the soup arrived (≧▽≦). The soup had a subtle hint of cilantro and a gentle, comforting flavor. The Gapao Rice had a generous portion of meat, making it a great value for the price ( ╹▽╹ ). It was spicy, and the egg added a nice touch (。•̀ᴗ-)✧ For dessert, there was something like grass jelly, which was a refreshing palate cleanser, but it came with ice, so be careful not to confuse it with the jelly (人*´∀`)。*゚+. Also, there's no oshibori (wet towel), so keep that in mind. Lunch payments are accepted only in cash or via PayPay (ㆁωㆁ). I’ll definitely come back!!!

It's a small Thai restaurant located about a 3-minute walk from Kinshicho Marui. I arrived around 7 PM without a reservation and was seated at the counter. They served me Thai vanilla iced tea, which felt like a nice bonus. I ordered the recommended spicy and sour glass noodle salad and curry-flavored noodles. Both dishes were quite delicious!

I entered the restaurant shortly after 1 PM on a weekday, and there were four customers already inside. The place is compact, with four tables and six counter seats. This time, I opted for a table. (Order items) - Khao Man Gai - Khao Soi - Mini Green Curry The Khao Man Gai had a delicious sauce. The rice is Thai jasmine rice, and while it's good on its own, I preferred eating it with the green curry or the soup from the noodles. The green curry wasn't too spicy; it had just the right balance. I was surprised to find eggplant as one of the ingredients, but it was soft and blended well. Personally, I recommend the Khao Soi the most. It offers a different kind of mild spiciness with a hint of sweetness and umami, making it a crowd-pleaser. The egg noodles soak up the rich broth, and the crispy noodle topping starts off crunchy and gradually turns soft, allowing for two different textures to enjoy. Adding rice to it to make a "porridge" would certainly satisfy any hardworking man. During my meal, the restaurant was almost at full capacity, so I realized it's an indispensable spot for those working in the area. Two of us ordered alcohol and ate until we were full, all for less than 5,000 yen, which is excellent value considering the current times. It hasn’t even been a day since I visited, and I already want to go back—I'm starting to feel addicted! Thank you for the meal!

Thai food is surprisingly competitive in Kinshi-cho. Most restaurants are located on the north side of the station, but this one is on the south side. It has a small setup with a few tables and a counter, creating a cafe-like atmosphere with greenery on the walls. During lunch hours, it’s usually full, so I tend to visit a bit later. The staff includes a very cute Thai woman (a native Japanese speaker) and her mother, who handles the cooking. As a big fan of green curry, I naturally chose that. The sweet coconut and a hint of spiciness make it truly delicious. My husband, who isn't a fan of spicy food, opted for pad Thai. When I tasted it, I found it to be a bit on the sweet side, but it had a strong and satisfying flavor. A dessert is included with lunch. This is a Thai restaurant I would love to visit for dinner as well.

I visited around 1 PM on a weekday. While the area becomes a nightlife district at night, this time of day is busy with cars on the road, making it feel quite wholesome. The shop has a narrow entrance but is very clean inside. A female staff member wearing a white hat was cooking, which was quite cute. There are both table and counter seats, but all three solo diners were seated at tables enjoying their meals. After sitting down and looking at the menu, I found a variety of noodle and rice dishes that I wanted to try. Today, I ordered the large portion of Kaprao rice. After about five minutes, the soup, large Kaprao rice, and dessert of tapioca arrived at my table. The Kaprao rice had a slight spiciness and was delicious. There was a generous amount of meat in it. The cucumber garnish was nicely cut and had a hint of saltiness. Since I ordered a large portion, there was plenty of rice. The soup was a common Thai dish, and it was also tasty. The tapioca was just sweet enough, providing a light finish to the meal. It was slightly spicy and delicious. The dish wasn't too greasy or soupy, which allowed me to really enjoy the rice. It's interesting how the deliciousness isn't apparent from the exterior.

I ordered Gapao rice. The toppings are generous and a bit on the salty side, but the fried egg balances it out nicely. Personally, I would prefer a little less topping or more rice to achieve a better flavor balance. The staff are cute too! ^_^

I was wandering around Kinshicho looking for lunch when I remembered that a Thai restaurant had opened in the location where the ramen shop Mutahiro used to be, so I decided to go in. I really wanted to try the Tom Yum Ramen for ¥950, so I ordered it. First, I tasted the soup. It was delicious. The noodles were hot and perfectly coated in the flavorful broth, making it absolutely amazing. I definitely want to try other items on the menu as well. The staff provided excellent service, so I will be visiting again. Thank you for the meal!

I discovered a new Thai restaurant called "Aroi-chan" just a 5-minute walk from the south exit of Kinshicho, behind a famous tai ramen shop! It's not a trendy "chan" style restaurant, but a proper Thai eatery. I went in without hesitation with a friend who loves Thai food and was hungry. The interior is cozy, with 8 seats at tables and 6 at the counter. This place is a bit different from your average Thai restaurant. You can tell that every dish is meticulously prepared. The heat control for grilling, stir-frying, and frying is excellent. You can really feel that they put effort into making each dish, so be sure to savor each one. The food from the kitchen is amazing! The restaurant is run by a mother and daughter, creating a very homely atmosphere that makes it easy to want to return. It’s a bit of a walk from the station, but definitely worth visiting. Thank you for the delicious meal today!

I visited on a weekday afternoon, arriving just before 1 PM to find the place almost full. **Points**: ○ Likely an authentic Thai restaurant ○ The Tom Yum Kun ramen has a flavorful soup with both sweetness and spiciness ○ All lunch items come with rice and dessert. **Operational Details**: Two-person operation *Customer Demographic*: Varied *Payment*: PayPay accepted *No service charge or cover charge *Online reservations: Available *Lunch service: Offered *Solo visits: Allowed *Google rating: 4.5 *Current Tabelog rating and impression: 3.17, but it could improve if more people knew about it. **Store Overview**: This Thai restaurant is located near the south exit of Kinshicho Station, where the ramen shop Mutahiro used to be. I really liked Mutahiro—it's sad it closed down. It's a bit of a walk from the station. **Atmosphere and Service**: There are counter and table seating options. While the interior and atmosphere have changed, it’s still the same space as Mutahiro. The operation consists of one person in the kitchen and one in the dining area. The woman in the kitchen seems to be somewhat older and likely Thai. The woman in the front also speaks some Thai during interactions, but is fluent in Japanese and provides bright, courteous service. **Order Details and Value for Money**: I ordered the Tom Yum Kun ramen for 950 yen. All items come with rice and dessert, but I opted out of the rice. My meal arrived in just over 5 minutes. I think the cost performance is decent. **Impressions**: The soup is quite spicy. After eating for a while, I found myself wanting water, but for me, it was just the right level of spiciness. The flavor is quite ethnic, with hints of sweetness and distinctive aromas and tastes, possibly from coconut. I had expected a more Japanese style of Tom Yum, so the actual experience was different, but I understand now that it’s an authentic kind. The noodles are similar to pho—smooth and wide, which makes them a bit difficult to lift up. While it isn't lacking in volume, I felt I could have used a bit more substance. I assume this is typical for this dish, but the Gapao might have been easier to eat. Overall, I think it’s a great spot for those who love authentic Thai cuisine.

After enjoying the last time I had Gapao, I decided to visit Arroi-chan again. This time, I wanted to try the Khao Kha Moo (braised pork trotters) for 1100 yen, which is something you don't often see for lunch. It's served in a set meal style rather than in a bowl, making it a bit more refined, but the tender pork trotters are a delightful guilty pleasure for lunch! The sweet, slightly Chinese-spiced pork trotters are well-cooked, with the fat rendered, making them easy to eat since there's no bone. I think a bit of the night market junk food vibe would also work well. The sweet pork trotters pair nicely with the quite spicy chili sauce. It also comes with soup and tapioca dessert. I was able to pay using PayPay. After enjoying the pork trotters again, I really feel like going to Thailand or Okinawa (for Tebichi)!

Namaste! I’m the self-proclaimed Curry King. On February 6th, I snuck into "Aroi-chan," a Thai restaurant that opened in December 2023 in Kinshicho, known as the paradise of Thai cuisine! The menu is enticing, featuring rare lunch items like Khao Khao Moo and the mysterious Thai noodle dish "Kyao Naam." Among those, I chose something I’ve been craving lately: ◆Khao Soi Spicy◆ Mini Gapao. I’m really into Khao Soi these days. It’s like a Thai northern-style curry noodle soup. It features smooth boiled noodles topped with crispy fried noodles. Eating it while gradually mixing in the coconut curry soup is simply delicious. Here, the Khao Soi comes with tender, juicy chicken and basic flavor-enhancing ingredients. The boiled noodles are slightly thick, twisted Chinese noodles, and the fried noodles are thick and crispy, which is a new experience for me. The soup has a sweet base, making it enjoyable even for Japanese palates. Since I ordered it spicy, there are chopped chili peppers on top, which you can mix into the soup to give it an extra kick. Ahh, Khao Soi is definitely delicious! True to the restaurant's name, it really is "Aroi!" The staff includes a young Thai woman who speaks Japanese fluently. With her flashy, glittery nails, her service strongly resembles that of Michopa. She’s quite charming, and that too is undoubtedly "Aroi!"

I visited "Aroi-chan," a new Thai restaurant that opened in the former location of Mutahiro in Kinshicho, out of curiosity! I ordered the green curry from the lunch menu. The spiciness of the spices was balanced by the mildness of the coconut milk, and it was surprisingly delicious! So good! Aroi-chan @ Kinshicho
