The appetizers were good, and the Hokkaido abalone and lobster were grilled well with good quality ingredients. The rare Hokkaido Wagyu sirloin steak was also cooked perfectly, warm inside but still retaining a raw meat texture. This place is really great. It's comforting to have garlic rice and miso soup served at a steakhouse. The best part is the teppanyaki without bean sprouts.

We went to celebrate my mom's birthday! It was a lunch course where you can enjoy both Hokkaido beef and seafood. The appetizers were served at the perfect timing! We had a window seat, so we could enjoy the view of Sapporo. The seafood varies depending on the day. The beef was cooked perfectly and very tender and delicious. The vegetables were just average. I wished they had some seasonal items like asparagus. The last dish was stir-fried bean sprouts. It felt a bit lacking for the price. The dessert was served at a different location! Since it was a birthday, we asked for a birthday plate. It cost around 1200 yen, which was a bit surprising. Overall, it was a bit disappointing.

In January 2019, I visited the teppanyaki restaurant "Ishikari" on the 26th floor of ANA Crowne Plaza Hotel Sapporo in Chuo-ku, Sapporo. The view from the 26th floor is fantastic. I made a reservation and had the "Colorful Set" lunch for 6,800 yen. First, I had a salad with plenty of small side dishes, a fragrant clear soup, and vegetables. Next, I enjoyed a refreshing cold mountain vegetable soba, followed by delicious sashimi with sweet and rich scallops. The grilled vegetables and 100g of Tokachi Wagyu beef were cooked in two stages, resulting in juicy and sweet meat. I paid extra to change the rice to garlic rice, which was meticulously prepared and had a wonderful flavor. After the meal, I moved to the Sky Lounge for drinks and sherbet, enjoying the lovely view and pleasant service. The main seafood and meat dishes were excellent, and all the set dishes were delicious. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

On Christmas, I went to a stylish dinner in a different way than usual. It was a Christmas-exclusive, fully reserved restaurant with a calm atmosphere where I could enjoy a leisurely meal. They only offered course meals, and both the presentation and taste were excellent. The shrimp and salmon dishes, in particular, were so delicious that I wanted to have seconds if possible. I thought it was nice to change the atmosphere occasionally and have a stylish dinner.

After finishing shopping with my husband, it was lunchtime. We were debating where to have lunch, so I checked the site Ikyu for options. Since we both felt like having meat, we decided to go to the teppanyaki restaurant "Ishikari". The restaurant had a nice ambiance with a view of the Ishikari Plain from the 26th floor. We opted for the most reasonable course, "Noon Zen" for ¥3208 (including tax and service charge). Considering the price, we weren't expecting top-quality meat. Various dishes were served, but none of them were particularly impressive or memorable. For dessert, we went to the bar lounge next door and had a dessert platter with coffee. The ice cream and cake were quite ordinary. The ice cream was so hard that the spoon couldn't penetrate it easily. If the quality of the meat is improved, it might be delicious, but based on the other dishes, I wouldn't have high expectations for dinner. I wouldn't go back again.

Teppanyaki dinner is a rare luxury for me♪ We met at 5:00 pm, which is quite unusual for me to start drinking. It was my first visit since the ANA Crowne Plaza Sapporo took over from the former Nikko Hotel. It was still bright outside and the night view wasn't visible yet, so it was a bit disappointing due to the heavy rain that day. However, the view from the top floor of the hotel is amazing. I would love to come on a sunny day. Dinner at JR Tower is also lovely. Our exclusive teppanyaki chef performed in front of us one after another. I love scallops, they are sweet and delicious. There was a unique dish where parsley was flattened and cooked on the teppan. I usually don't like parsley, but this was delicious! I realized that with the right cooking method, even ingredients I don't like can be tasty. That was a real discovery and joy for me. The grilled vegetables were delicious, with the natural flavors of the vegetables coming through. The chef taught us the key to making them sweet, but I forgot it... The meat, a must for Instagram, was flamed right in front of us! I asked for mine to be slightly rare. The meat was delicious, juicy, and had a great texture. So happy♪ The staff at the restaurant maintained a good balance of conversation and distance, making it a very comfortable place. And the dessert coffee and ice cream were served in a lounge-like area outside, with a view, which was a very sophisticated touch! It was a very enjoyable and happy dinner♪ Thank you❤️

Occasionally, I decided to have a luxurious lunch at the Teppanyaki restaurant "Ishikari" on the 26th floor of the Sapporo ANA Hotel. As the name suggests, the restaurant offers a great view of Sapporo's Ishikari Plain, making it a high-rise restaurant with a good view in Sapporo. I ordered the "Hokkaido Beef Lunch" course, with today's main Hokkaido beef being "Furano beef". The course included the following: - Appetizer... Napa cabbage salad, rolled omelette with high-quality eggs, kelp noodles - Noodle dish... Hokkaido clam ramen - Side dish... Marinated Okhotsk Atka mackerel, jelly sauce - Simmered dish... Tender simmered Hokkaido chicken - Assorted dishes... Marinated wild-caught autumn salmon with ikura, salted Hokkaido sea squirt, Polynesian-style grilled Hokkaido saury - Grilled dish... Hokkaido "Furano beef" sirloin steak (60g), grilled vegetables - Rice dish... Pork bowl with Satchiku barley pork from Shari, pickles, miso soup - Dessert... Assorted dessert platter The main meat portion is a refined 60g per person (a bit small!), but overall, the course offers a decent amount of food. The photo shows 180g for three people, and the chef explains the meat and confirms the doneness, so I ordered it medium. While waiting for the meat to cook, I enjoyed the appetizers and the view outside with some drinks. The highlight of teppanyaki performance is the finishing flambé in front of you. I took a commemorative photo of the fire about to start. The steak is served with garlic chips and diced steak alongside grilled vegetables. The meat is tender and flavorful, with a good balance of lean and marbled parts. It's very delicious. The appetizers, side dishes, and assorted dishes are visually appealing and enjoyable, and the pork bowl in the rice dish, despite being fatty, was surprisingly refreshing after being grilled simply with salt, then topped with sauce and sprinkled with sansho pepper. Although the amount of steak is small, I was satisfied with the variety of dishes. The view from the window is also a treat, and for 4,200 yen, the meal and the view are worth it. After enjoying the meal and drinks, you can move to the adjacent lounge for dessert platters and relax. It may be a bit pricey for dinner, but during the day, you can still enjoy the view from the high-rise and indulge in a satisfying teppanyaki steak meal.

For over 20 years, there has been a teppanyaki restaurant on the top floor of ANA InterContinental Hotel. Since it is a restaurant within the hotel, the cost performance is not great and it is expensive, but it is a reliable and stable restaurant. The restaurant has been around for a long time and is truly a teppanyaki restaurant. The current rating as of June 2017 is 3.07, but I think it should have a higher rating. The food is good, the service is good, the view is good, and the atmosphere is good, but the cost performance is not great. The meat is delicious and tender. A restaurant that has been around for a long time is likely to have a stable popularity. It would be even better if it were a bit cheaper. The photo shows tips, crab, meat, and garlic. It is delicious.

The teppanyaki at the hotel never disappoints! I was excited to visit Ishikari after a long time. Hmm, it feels different from before... like there's less energy? Oh well, let's eat! The course was light, with foie gras, abalone, and shrimp. Hmm, the flavors seem off for each dish. The meat was okay. I enjoyed it with Italian wine, but hmm. For dessert, I relaxed at the bar with a cocktail. That's all from Pinky's food diary!

Category: Outdoor Dining To conclude eru's birthday celebration, we dined at the ANA Crowne Plaza Hotel Ishikari. darin, who used to work in Hawaii, mentioned that they often went to teppanyaki restaurants in Hawaii, so eru was excited to try teppanyaki for the first time as part of a course meal. Although darin suggested Chinese food, we decided on "Ishikari" because they had a good selection of wine. The Japanese restaurant "Kurumaya" at this hotel also offers delicious kaiseki meals with a great view from the windows. The ANA Crowne Plaza Hotel may not be extravagant, but it offers a calm and reliable impression. "Ishikari" is located on the east side of Sapporo, with a view of Sapporo Factory. We were seated in the farthest booth, with a view of the atrium lights visible from the window. We started with wine, followed by appetizers and salad. The recommended course included Hokkaido beef and seafood. Foie gras was cooked on the teppan, and the shrimp turned red as it cooked. The salad and vegetable stir-fry were a nice touch with a variety of fresh and cooked vegetables. The main event was the flambé show, where the chef skillfully cooked the fillet steak on the teppan. The Hokkaido beef fillet steak was perfectly cooked, and the garlic rice was fragrant. The shrimp heads were served as a soup, adding another layer of flavor. The chef's attention to detail and the lively atmosphere when other guests arrived made the dining experience even more enjoyable. The dessert, yuzu sorbet, was served at the Sky Lounge with a view of Sapporo. It was a wonderful evening with delicious food and a special atmosphere.

Today, I went to "Teppanyaki Ishikari" on the top floor of ANA Hotel for my husband's birthday celebration. We sat at a counter seat with a great view and enjoyed watching the chef's live cooking demonstration. The dinner was quite enjoyable! We started with appetizers and sweet shrimp sashimi, which was incredibly fresh and delicious. Then, the grilled dishes were served - soy fish and scallops, along with grilled vegetables like zucchini, corn, carrots, shiitake mushrooms, and parsley. We dipped them in three different sauces. Next, the highlight was the meat - we shared sirloin and fillet, both were incredibly tender and juicy. The same amount of meat was served again with different grilled vegetables. Lastly, we had garlic rice, pickles, and miso soup. After the meal, we moved to the Sky Lounge Sapporo View for coffee and ice cream, enjoying the beautiful scenery. Dining in a place with a great view is always a pleasant experience!

I stayed at the hotel, so I decided to have dinner here. Located on the 26th floor of ANA Hotel, there is a teppanyaki restaurant called "Ishikari." As you pass through the entrance, the back of the seats is lined with floor-to-ceiling windows. The view of Sapporo facing east is spread out below, with stars twinkling in the sky. The atmosphere is excellent. On clear days, you can enjoy beautiful views even during the day. The dinner courses include: - Live king crab and black wagyu course for 15,000 yen per person - Hokkaido beef and seafood course for 10,000 yen per person - Hokkaido beef steak dinner starting from 8,000 yen per person - Custom choice course starting from 6,100 yen per person Hotel guests receive a 1,000 yen discount on the second course, so we ordered the seafood and Hokkaido beef course. This time, the meat was "Soya Black Beef." Soya Black Beef comes from the northernmost part of Japan, near Cape Soya in Wakkanai. It is a brand of beef that is raised using only natural fertilizers and organic compost, with a diet limited to homegrown grass and non-genetically modified corn feed. The quality of Soya Black Beef can vary, but this time I was excited to try it. The dinner included appetizers, scallops, soy, and the main course of Soya Black Beef. The beef was lean with minimal marbling, resulting in a light and tender meat. It was quite different from other Soya Black Beef I have tried before. The meal also included grilled vegetables and garlic rice, all of which were delicious. The location on the top floor with a beautiful night view, quiet atmosphere, and reasonable price made the dining experience at the hotel's teppanyaki restaurant very satisfying.

I feel like it's been over 10 years since I last visited Ishikari-san. This restaurant is located near JR Sapporo Station in Chuo Ward, Sapporo City. For the exact location, please check on Tabelog. Ishikari Teppanyaki serves lunch until 2:30 pm, with last orders at 2 pm. I made a reservation for 2 pm on the day of the visit with my usual companion, and we arrived right on time. There were no other customers inside, but there were dessert customers in the separate Top of Sapporo room. The interior of the restaurant felt different from before. We were seated at the counter, in a semi-circular shape with about 7-8 seats, right in the center facing the chef. It was a great spot with a nice view outside. We ordered a reasonably priced lunch course with a variety of desserts. Drinks can be ordered for an additional 300 yen during lunch. I had a grapefruit juice, while my companion had a mini beer. The chef came and greeted us before starting the meal. The dishes included appetizers, a main course, and a dessert. The meal was delicious and well-prepared. The lunch course included a variety of dishes such as a salad, rolled omelette, simmered bonito, marinated salmon, stir-fried pork, and a choice of American sirloin or two types of seafood. The grilled vegetables and stir-fried bean sprouts were also tasty. The rice milk baked rice with tea was particularly good. The dessert platter included a delicious opera cake. The chef was not very talkative but made sure we were well taken care of. He even explained the view from the 26th floor on clear days. After the meal, we enjoyed dessert in a separate room with a relaxing atmosphere and a view of the western side of Sapporo. Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience. Members of the Mitsukoshi Isetan MI Club receive a 10% discount. With the discount, our total bill of 3000 yen including drinks was reduced to 2700 yen. It was a delicious meal, thank you.

A friend invited me to a fancy dinner where we had a course meal with Wagyu beef for 10,000 yen. The neighboring table had an abalone steak included in their 18,000 yen course. I enjoyed the elegant presentation and small portions of the dishes, which made it easier for me to eat even the raw fish that I usually don't like. We also had Chablis wine for around 5,000 yen. Despite feeling full by the time the meat dishes arrived, I managed to finish almost everything. My friend, on the other hand, couldn't resist having more rice and later was diagnosed with diabetes. The restaurant had impeccable service, but I had to be careful as the waitresses were quick to refill our glasses even with just a small sip. I ended up getting quite drunk even though I tried to avoid it.

Teppanyaki restaurant on the 26th floor of ANA Crowne Plaza Hotel. All seats face east, offering a fantastic view of Sapporo city, Shiroishi, Shin-Sapporo, Ebetsu, and even as far as Iwamizawa. I've been to many restaurants on higher floors of hotels with good views, but I've never encountered one with such a clear view of distant areas. It would be wonderful just to enjoy freshly cooked meat and seafood on the teppan while gazing at this view. I visited for lunch this time. The lunch prices are surprisingly reasonable, attracting office workers treating themselves to a nice lunch and groups of ladies. We reserved the Seasonal Deluxe Set Course for 3,500 yen, which included a complimentary drink. I wanted to have a beer, but since it was a weekday lunch, I resisted the temptation. The dishes, all freshly cooked, were delicious, but the meat stood out. It was described as beef sirloin, but for a 3,500 yen course, is this what one should expect? If I had paid over 10,000 yen for dinner, I would have been quite disappointed, but the great view compensated for it, making me think that lunch might be the better option. For dessert, we moved from the east-facing counter seats to a room facing west. Having dessert in a separate room during lunch felt a bit luxurious. The west-facing room also had floor-to-ceiling windows, offering a nice view from Moiwa Mountain to Odori Park, and from Teine Mountain to Otaru. It was a lovely restaurant where you could enjoy the atmosphere as well.

I chose a menu that includes both meat and seafood. I had a dish where sautéed foie gras was placed on top of tofu and then broth was poured over it. I wish I could have eaten them separately... The foie gras, which was sautéed to a crispy surface, became too mushy because of the tofu and broth, which was a shame... The sautéed squid was the same, with fresh sea urchin on top, both the squid and sea urchin became lukewarm, reducing their deliciousness by half. The meat cuts were sloppy, with varying sizes, some quite large. The abundance of grilled vegetables was a plus, such as corn, carrots, bean sprouts, and Chinese cabbage. The oil used here is a mixture of salad oil and clarified butter. It seems like they are trying their best, but unfortunately, the results were disappointing.

We came to Teppanyaki Ishikari for my daughter's reservation. It was to celebrate our wedding anniversary. There were five of us - myself, my wife, two adult daughters, and our elementary school son. We ordered the course menu along with some draft beer. We enjoyed chatting with the chef as the meal progressed, and there was a memorable moment when the chef asked how we wanted our meat cooked, and our son, the elementary school student, simply said, "Cook it deliciously!" This caused everyone, including other customers, to burst into laughter. It was a unique experience to have a luxurious meal with our family in a different atmosphere. Our son seemed to have a wonderful and valuable experience. Of course, he also gave a good review of the food. We don't often have the opportunity to dine out as a family, but this was a special and precious time and experience for our children. We are grateful to our daughters for making it happen!

This is a teppanyaki steak restaurant at the Sapporo ANA Hotel. I often go there for a slightly luxurious lunch. I recommend the course that includes both seafood and meat. Enjoy the traditional teppanyaki experience. For the finale, don't forget to switch the white rice to garlic fried rice. The view is also great, so I usually get a bottle of wine at a good price to accompany the meal. After eating, you can move to the cafe space for dessert and coffee at a leisurely pace. Stick to the moderately priced menu items and you'll be sure to enjoy the quality of the meat. The ingredients for the teppanyaki are standard. The atmosphere and view are excellent.
