Today, I had a sudden craving for naan and decided to visit this restaurant after work. There are a few parking spots available around the store. I thought about getting takeout, but since they offer free refills on naan, I decided to dine in! This time, I tried setting the spiciness level of the curry to 5 for the first time, but I think 4 would have been better if I wanted to enjoy it more. The naan was quite large, so I ordered one piece to start and one refill. Both were freshly baked and delicious. Thank you for the meal! (^-^)

I had the daily special Keema curry. The naan bread was huge but easy to eat. It was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, absolutely delicious. The Keema curry tasted authentic and was very tasty. The salad dressing and the side dish of potatoes had flavors that I had never tasted before. I wonder if they are authentic to the region. I would like to go back again.

Lamb sag curry with spinach paste. The lamb is so tender~~~♡ Free refills of naan or rice. On Sunday, I went to my son's soccer game in the morning to cheer him on. It was raining and cold!! Everyone was covered in mud hahaha. I was freezing to the core, so I decided to have curry before heading home. My sons went to the public bath.

Today, I searched for a nearby restaurant to eat out after work and visited this place. When I entered the restaurant and sat at an empty table, a hot towel was brought to me. Water is self-serve. Some tables have a bell to call for orders, but mine didn't, so I ordered directly. I chose level 5 spiciness for the curry. I ordered the Daulat Ki Set, which came with various side dishes, and I enjoyed it so much that I had an extra naan. It's nice that rice and naan refills are free when you order curry or a set. The kids finished their meals quickly and seemed satisfied as they watched the train go by outside the window. It had been a while since I last had curry and naan, and it was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I've been in the mood for curry lately, especially soup curry and Indian/Nepalese curry. On this particular Sunday, before heading to Marukoma Onsen for a day trip, I visited this restaurant as soon as it opened. The staff, mostly foreigners, provided excellent service. I ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala for 1,180 yen, which seemed to be their recommended dish. The curry had a perfect balance of acidity, sweetness, and spices, with a mild level of spiciness typical of Nepalese restaurants. The red paste had a prominent tomato flavor, followed by a rich and spicy taste. The Tikka Masala had a good texture and flavor. The curry was rich and satisfying, although it didn't pair well with the rice, which was sticky and slightly sweet. I would recommend having it with naan instead. I ordered the 5th level of spiciness, which was just right for me, but I would suggest a higher level for those with a higher tolerance for spiciness. Originally, I had planned to visit Takeyama Kogen Onsen, but I changed my mind after the meal and decided to go to Marukoma Onsen instead.

Chitose, Eniwa, and Naganuma have a high concentration of curry restaurants, with a focus on Nepalese and Indian curry, which is quite unique in the area. They also offer Nepalese beer and rum. I always want to come to these types of restaurants to enjoy momo (Nepalese dumplings) and chicken dishes with drinks, but I can't convince my wife to join me. I always decide to order the Sagaramata Set 1630, which is the largest set available. It includes Chicken Tikka Masala, Dal Butter Curry, Garlic Tikka x2, Papadum, Salad, Achar (pickles), Rice, and Blueberry Lassi. I usually choose the second spiciest level of heat for the curry, which has a strong puree flavor. The Chicken Tikka Masala has a perfect balance of sweetness, sourness, and spices according to the restaurant's comment. I also like to add some green peppers to enhance the flavor. It's great that they offer all-you-can-eat naan and rice, although it's not necessary because the meal is quite filling.

I live nearby and had been wanting to go but couldn't find the time. Today, everything aligned and I was craving for some Naan curry! We all agreed and headed to a Nepalese dining place. We ordered a Nepalese set and another set, and in just a few minutes, we got freshly made Naan and Nepalese curry. I took a bite of the Naan first and it was delicious! I chose a medium spicy curry and it was tasty too! It had been a while since I last had it, so I will definitely go back again soon!

I was curious so I decided to go check it out. The menu was so extensive that I had a hard time deciding, but I ended up choosing the chicken vegetable soup curry with naan. It was delicious!! I could have had more naan, but I decided to stop because I couldn't finish it. I want to come back here again... By the way, they were featured in a magazine.

Visit date: Around 6:30 pm on December 27, 2019. After finishing the last work of the year, I drove to this restaurant "Nepal Dining" to meet up with a friend. It seems like it's more popular during lunchtime, as there were only two other groups of customers when we visited. Oh, if you sit at a table, please take off your shoes! There is a shoe rack where you can store them. As for our order this time, although there was no menu for 2019 available, based on the past menu, we ordered the "Cheese Naan B Set (¥1350)". From here on, I will write assuming that the menu is correct, so please understand. After waiting for about 20 minutes, the plate arrived. The lineup included Keema Curry, Shrimp Curry, Salad, Turmeric Rice, and a Nepalese Stir-Fried Spinach on top of the rice, along with Lassi, providing a satisfying portion. First, I took a bite of the Cheese Naan as it is. The chewy texture and rich taste of cheese spread in my mouth. It felt like it had been properly baked in the oven with a slight charred surface. Its characteristic stretchiness was also noteworthy! The curry had an authentic taste that you would expect from a proper restaurant, and although we didn't choose the spiciest option this time, it had a spicy and addictive flavor. The best way to enjoy it is by dipping the Naan in the curry, but it's also delicious to pour it over the rice or eat it as it is. The fresh salad had a crunchy texture that paired perfectly with the dressing, serving its purpose as a break between eating the curry. The Lassi wasn't overly sweet but had a refreshing aftertaste, making it easy to drink. Oh, the meat at the back of the first picture is "Kukhura Ko Masu (¥480)"! This is chicken seasoned with a spice called cumin, and it goes well with the Turmeric Rice! It's also delicious to dip the sauce in the Naan! After finishing the Cheese Naan and running out of curry, we ordered a refill of Plain Naan. The freshly baked hot Naan had a crispy texture, much tastier than the ones served on the plate, with a prominent sweetness. With the help of a friend who could eat quite a bit, we managed to finish it all. I ordered the set because I wanted to try a variety of things, but I don't usually eat that much, so I ended up feeling a bit sick afterward. At "Lumbini" or "Asa" (I visited in April this year), ordering a set always results in more food than I can handle, so in the future, I might just stick to one curry and Naan or soup curry and Naan. Even just the Lassi can be quite filling! Thank you for the meal.

I live near this restaurant and had been planning to go there for a while. When my son and I were alone at lunchtime, we decided to go eat there. The atmosphere of the restaurant is quite ordinary. Near the entrance, there is a small counter for a few people, and further back, there are seating areas for families with six sets of tables, including small raised tatami seating. I think all the staff are from Nepal. My son had butter chicken curry, and I had chicken curry. We were served with a huge plain naan, which we started eating right away. I realized I had forgotten to take a photo after eating a bit, so I quickly took a picture, but by then, we had already eaten about a third of the food. The butter chicken curry had a mix of sweetness from the butter and spiciness from the tandoori chicken. The chicken curry had a flavor that Japanese people would enjoy, with a balance of umami and spiciness. We both had second servings of naan and finished everything. The portion of rice was just right, finishing along with the two naans. If you eat only one naan, you will probably have leftover curry. The naan and rice are all-you-can-eat, making it a great deal. The staff were all lovely, and one of them noticed me sweating and quietly directed a fan towards me. I would love to go back with my family!

I had been curious for a long time. It seems that it used to be a soba restaurant. Since I was dining alone, I sat at the counter. There were tables in the back as well. I was in the mood for soup curry, so I ordered mutton and vegetable curry. At lunch, there was a 100 yen discount on individual items. The soup was thin and had a very ethnic appearance. I chose the level 2 spiciness, but I started sweating quite a bit. I wiped my sweat with the towel that was brought out first while eating. The rice was delicious, made with turmeric and had a chewy texture. Next time, I'll try the Nepalese curry instead of the soup!

Occasionally passing through the road, the road between Ebetsu and Eniwa. The yellow store in Eniwa-shi Shimamatsu along that road is a landmark store. There is parking for about 10 cars, I think. As the title suggests, when you order a set meal, you can have unlimited refills of naan (plain) or rice. (But you can't leave any leftovers). The naan is also generously sized. The cheese naan is filled with cheese all the way to the edge. You can also choose the level of spiciness to suit your taste. Even though I'm not good with spices (too much makes my nose tickle), I can eat it with peace of mind. It's not that there are no spices used, but they are not used excessively. The tandoori chicken is not too spicy or too tough, just right. On weekdays, the set menu is cheaper, and there are also special menu deals available on weekends.

The day after returning to my parents' home in Hokkaido, we had to go to Sapporo for some errands. My parents had been there a few times before, but it was my first time. I ordered the Chicken & Vegetable Curry and was unsure about the spiciness level, so I chose medium, which turned out to be the right decision. It could have been a disaster if I had ordered it hot (laughs). The naan was the smallest I've seen in Indian and Nepalese curry restaurants I've been to, but it was delicious and chewy. Since naan was all-you-can-eat, I added an extra piece and shared it with my father. The curry was mild and easy to eat, suitable for Japanese taste. There were two types of curry available, Nepalese curry and soup curry. My parents ordered soup curry with naan, and I tried dipping the naan in the soup curry that my mother shared with me, surprisingly it tasted good together. Thank you for the meal.

The original smoked ramen shop has changed to a soup curry and Nepalese curry restaurant. The interior has been painted and decorated in a soup curry style. The staff, who seemed unfamiliar with Japanese, provided polite service. The menu is easy to read with photos, and there are different prices for lunch on weekdays and other days. This time, I had the chicken and vegetable soup curry with a spice level of 6, which was about the same spiciness as level 3 at a certain curry chain. The spiciness doesn't linger on the tongue, but there is a gradual heat and the aroma of spices that makes you sweat a bit later. The curry was filled with chicken, potatoes, cabbage, asparagus, lotus root, broccoli, boiled egg, and more, making it a curry with plenty of ingredients. This time, I ordered this soup curry and shish kebab, but there are other dishes like shrimp curry with roux curry, so I felt that this is a restaurant worth visiting again.

I visited this restaurant based on everyone's information on November 25, 2014. It is easy to get to Ebetsu without stress from the neighboring area. Just go straight on Route 36 and turn left to arrive! I witnessed an accident on Route 36 on the way, past the speed camera. I will be more careful with safe driving. I visited when the restaurant first opened, and to my surprise, there were mothers of students there. It turns out this soup curry restaurant is affiliated with Suriya, and they are here to help out. I was guided to a seat in the back, and as expected, I ordered the Chicken Vegetable Soup Curry with a spice level of 20, and less rice. I heard stories about eating soup curry around, but having acquaintances there added to the nervousness, making me eat neatly without coughing. To my delight, students were also there. They had a day off from kindergarten and came to eat. I was very happy to see them, as they were adorable and cute. The soup curry arrived in this happy atmosphere. I started by tasting the soup, which had a tangy flavor different from Suriya but very delicious. The portion size seemed better here. Despite the spice level of 20, the soup was smooth. I was worried about coughing, but it was fine. Even though I don't sweat much from spicy food, my face felt slightly flushed, making it the perfect level of spiciness. The vegetables included boiled carrots, potatoes, lotus root, eggplant, asparagus, and deep-fried items. They were all delicious. The chicken was very tender and tasty. The rice was firm and paired well with the soup. By the time I finished eating, the restaurant was full, despite being newly opened. There was even a raised seating area, making the interior spacious. Thank you for the meal!

It's about the location, in Shimamatsuju-cho, Eniwa City, along the Do-Do Ebetsu-Eniwa Line, but for the exact location, as always, please check on the map on Tabelog. I passed by this restaurant last week and saw the opening announcement poster, but I forgot the opening date during the holidays and visited on a weekday after the weekend. I parked my car in the parking lot with plenty of spaces in front of the shop that used to be a soba restaurant and before that a ramen shop, then entered the shop while thinking about today's curry. I sat at the available counter seat and carefully looked at the menu, then ordered the "Dal Chicken Curry" B set with spiciness level 4 for the daily special menu. It arrived in 7-8 minutes, a set with curry, salad, naan, turmeric rice, and lassi. First, I tried the "Dal Chicken Curry", which had the right level of spiciness for me at level 4, with a decent amount of chicken and beans. Next, I had the naan, which was big enough to fill me up when eaten with the curry. I also had the salad in between, and finally mixed the leftover curry with the turmeric rice to finish it all, then slowly enjoyed the lassi after the meal. The only concern was the cigarette smoke and smell inside the shop, but since about 70% of people are non-smokers now, I hope they will make it non-smoking during lunchtime and keep the counter seats non-smoking all day.

In the location where there used to be a soba restaurant in Shimamatsu area, a new Nepalese curry and soup curry restaurant opened on November 21st. It is a branch of Suriya! The place is along Route 46 (Ebetsu-Eniwa Odori) near the bridge over Kashiwagi River. They offer a point card where you get 1 stamp for each meal and 5 stamps can get you a free soft drink. With 10 stamps, you get a 500 yen discount. This card can be used at 7 Suriya affiliated stores! Today feels like winter is coming soon. The cycling season is almost over. I cycled about 70km round trip to a restaurant near Chitose Inter that I was curious about from a review by a fellow reviewer. While riding on Route 46 at a speed of 35-40km/h, I passed by a soba restaurant and caught a whiff of spices. When I turned back, I saw a sign for Nepalese curry. After some twists and turns, I finally made it back to the restaurant. There were 2-3 groups of customers ahead of me, all receiving a 20% discount coupon when paying. It was only included in newspapers in Ebetsu and Oomagari areas! I sat at the counter and ordered the Nepalese Dining Special Set for 1450 yen. The cute waitress asked, "How spicy would you like it?" I jokingly replied, "Up to level 50!" She said they can make it as spicy as I want, but the Nepalese chef limited it to level 20. The set included soup curry, Nepalese curry, naan, turmeric rice, lassi, chicken tikka, stir-fried broccoli, and salad. Overall, it had a light flavor profile. The plain lassi was not very yogurt-like and had a sweet condensed milk taste. The spiciness was intense, especially if you like cayenne pepper. Level 20 was quite spicy for me, which shows my progress in building tolerance to spicy food. The soup curry had a light broth with hints of cinnamon, cloves, and cayenne pepper. The Nepalese curry had a subtle ginger flavor, balanced and enjoyable. I liked the seasoning and grilling of the chicken tikka. I would like to try more side dishes next time. The naan was also on the lighter side. Following Kukai Ramen, Rarumenya, and Mimi, I hope this restaurant becomes a gem in the Shimamatsu area.
