Visit date: Around 6:30 pm on December 27, 2019. After finishing the last work of the year, I drove to this restaurant "Nepal Dining" to meet up with a friend. It seems like it's more popular during lunchtime, as there were only two other groups of customers when we visited. Oh, if you sit at a table, please take off your shoes! There is a shoe rack where you can store them. As for our order this time, although there was no menu for 2019 available, based on the past menu, we ordered the "Cheese Naan B Set (¥1350)". From here on, I will write assuming that the menu is correct, so please understand. After waiting for about 20 minutes, the plate arrived. The lineup included Keema Curry, Shrimp Curry, Salad, Turmeric Rice, and a Nepalese Stir-Fried Spinach on top of the rice, along with Lassi, providing a satisfying portion. First, I took a bite of the Cheese Naan as it is. The chewy texture and rich taste of cheese spread in my mouth. It felt like it had been properly baked in the oven with a slight charred surface. Its characteristic stretchiness was also noteworthy! The curry had an authentic taste that you would expect from a proper restaurant, and although we didn't choose the spiciest option this time, it had a spicy and addictive flavor. The best way to enjoy it is by dipping the Naan in the curry, but it's also delicious to pour it over the rice or eat it as it is. The fresh salad had a crunchy texture that paired perfectly with the dressing, serving its purpose as a break between eating the curry. The Lassi wasn't overly sweet but had a refreshing aftertaste, making it easy to drink. Oh, the meat at the back of the first picture is "Kukhura Ko Masu (¥480)"! This is chicken seasoned with a spice called cumin, and it goes well with the Turmeric Rice! It's also delicious to dip the sauce in the Naan! After finishing the Cheese Naan and running out of curry, we ordered a refill of Plain Naan. The freshly baked hot Naan had a crispy texture, much tastier than the ones served on the plate, with a prominent sweetness. With the help of a friend who could eat quite a bit, we managed to finish it all. I ordered the set because I wanted to try a variety of things, but I don't usually eat that much, so I ended up feeling a bit sick afterward. At "Lumbini" or "Asa" (I visited in April this year), ordering a set always results in more food than I can handle, so in the future, I might just stick to one curry and Naan or soup curry and Naan. Even just the Lassi can be quite filling! Thank you for the meal.
