Two women welcome you at the entrance. The interior has a somewhat retro Showa era vibe, resembling a snack bar or cafe, but it is actually larger than expected! There are 5 counter seats, 4 four-person tables, and more tables visible in the back. In addition to classic dishes like Napolitan and curry, they offer a variety of soba dishes. The pork bowl set comes with cold soba, where you can choose between morekoshi or inaka soba. The soba is very standard and easy to eat, with a mild soba sauce that is not overpowering but suitable for everyone. The pork bowl, although initially seeming slightly spicy, had a sauce at the bottom that when mixed, created the intended flavor. It had a strong pepper flavor. The portion size was generous and the cost performance seemed good. A man was working in the kitchen visible from the dining area. It seems like a convenient place to relax and also conduct business meetings. The counter is a smoking area, making it suitable for meetings with smokers. Thank you for the meal!

"Soba Cafe Erica" is a popular coffee shop in town known for its lunch menu. Although they specialize in soba noodles, they also offer set meals and pasta dishes that are equally popular. I visited with a friend for lunch and was impressed by the variety of dishes. The cafe is located in the Higashi-ku, Sapporo area, along the Miyanomori and North 24th Street. The parking lot was full when we arrived, but we managed to find a legal parking space nearby. The interior of the cafe had a smoking section in the front and a non-smoking room on the left side. We were lucky to find a table available in the non-smoking room. We decided to try the "Lunch Shrimp and Vegetable Tempura Set" which caught our eye on the menu. The lunch menu also included pasta dishes and set meals, all priced at 930 yen. The soba set meals ranged from 880 to 980 yen. The cafe had about 25 items on the menu, mostly soba and rice bowl dishes. It felt more like a local soba eatery than a typical coffee shop. We ordered the "Lunch Shrimp and Vegetable Tempura Set" which took about 28 minutes to arrive due to the busy crowd. The set included a variety of tempura items, including shrimp, crab sticks, and vegetables, along with sides like salad, miso soup, and rice. The tempura was freshly fried and delicious, and the overall meal was satisfying. The price of 930 yen was reasonable for the quality and quantity of food. We enjoyed our meal at Soba Cafe Erica and look forward to trying other lunch options on our next visit."

[Visit in early July 2022] I arrived a little after 9 am, and sometimes the store opens before 10 am, but not always. Today, they were open when I arrived, so I thought I would check if they had a morning menu. Normally, they open for business at 10 am. Unfortunately, they didn't have a morning menu, so I decided to order lunch at 9:15 am. There is plenty of parking available. I had already eaten breakfast at home just over an hour ago, so I wasn't sure if I could eat lunch (laughs). - Pork bowl set (880 yen) with countryside soba - Iced coffee (150 yen) [Soba] The countryside soba has a light color, but surprisingly, it has a smooth texture. They may have aimed for a smooth texture even with countryside soba. I asked about the ratio of buckwheat flour before leaving, and it's 20% buckwheat and 80% wheat flour. The noodles have a strong aroma of wheat flour. The soup has a strong bonito flavor and is quite sweet. The soba water was nice. Both the noodles and the soup had unique characteristics. [Pork bowl] It was just before opening time, and the rice was freshly cooked and very delicious. The meat was thinly sliced pork belly with a fairly sweet seasoning. Some may find it too sweet, but I liked it. [Iced coffee] I ordered it before my meal, and it was served promptly. It's iced but not diluted, which is great. It has a good balance of bitterness and is a coffee that everyone can enjoy. I saw in other reviews that the Neapolitan is popular here. I would like to try that next time. Thank you for the meal! 🌟

One weekend, I visited a cafe located at North 24th Street East 2nd Avenue for lunch after a long time. This cafe serves delicious soba noodles and other dishes. When I arrived, it was still early for lunch, which was convenient. The atmosphere was nice with cool jazz playing in the background. I decided to order the "Pork Steak Set (850 yen)" and added an "Iced Coffee after the meal (+130 yen)". When the food arrived, I noticed a sweet buttery aroma from the pork steak. The meat was tender and flavorful, cooked just right. The side dishes included simmered radish, carrot, and shiitake mushrooms, as well as a small serving of natto with green onions. The salad had tomato slices with a tangy Chinese-style dressing. The miso soup contained enoki mushrooms, tofu, seaweed, and greens, and the rice was perfectly cooked. The iced coffee was not overly filled with ice, which was a pleasant surprise. Overall, I enjoyed a well-balanced and satisfying lunch. I look forward to trying their soba noodles or grilled fish next time. Thank you for the delicious meal.

I visited for lunch. I wish they would change the name of the restaurant♪( *´艸`) I ordered a set of pork bowl and country soba noodles. Usually I go for a large portion, but it was cold today (lol). Unfortunately, the sauce was a bit thin and sweet, and the soba noodles were not salty enough. I adjusted it to my taste with some soy sauce and salt (*^^*). The pork bowl had a slightly light flavor, probably because it used pork belly which didn't quite mix well with the sauce (sweat). It's a shame because they use good quality pork without any unpleasant smell. The non-smoking section is only the tables in the back, while the counter and booth seats in the front are for smoking. I like sitting at the counter but oh well (^-^ゞ I had an iced coffee for 130 yen after the meal while writing this draft.

I enjoyed some delicious soba noodles at a cafe. The place had "soba restaurant" written prominently on the wall. Inside, there were taxi drivers chatting, probably regular customers. The menu had tempting options like Neapolitan pasta and lunch sets for adults. I ordered the Mori Soba for 600 yen, choosing the more delicate variety. The white soba noodles were refreshing and had a smooth texture. They went well with the sweet dipping sauce. More customers kept coming in, choosing dishes like the popular Neapolitan set. It was a cozy oasis. Thank you for the meal.

A convenient shop where you can eat soba and cafe meals. It's great that they open at 10:00. There are plenty of parking spaces right in front of the shop, which is convenient. Last time, I had curry soba and it was delicious. Today, I ordered the Napolitan for 850 yen. Due to the consumption tax increase, it went up by 20 yen. The set comes with salad, soup, and toast. The salad with sesame dressing was fresh and tasty. The wakame seaweed soup was delicious. The toast was thick and fluffy. The Napolitan had two franks, cabbage, onions, bell peppers, and fish sausage. It had a rich flavor with a strong ketchup taste. It goes well with Tabasco. The spaghetti was thin, soft, and filling. I'm full now. Next time, I want to try the soba and rice set.

I visited for lunch. It was a place I had been curious about for a while. I felt a bit nervous at first. The inside of the restaurant is spacious with a calm atmosphere. This time, I ordered the "C pork ginger stir-fry set meal" and a "coffee after the meal." It seems like their soba noodles are popular as many people were ordering it. The pork ginger stir-fry set meal had a variety of side dishes, which went well with the rice. It felt like it had been a while since I last had ginger stir-fry. The coffee was also delicious. The relaxing atmosphere makes it a nice place to dine. I would like to come back again. Thank you for the meal!٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶

This is a shop I stumbled upon while driving by. It seemed like a café or soba restaurant. I remember seeing a similar one in Minami Ward recently. There are plenty of parking spaces in front of the shop. Inside, there is a smoking area with a counter and tables, as well as a non-smoking area with tables in the back. The menu includes soba sets, daily specials, and individual soba dishes. They also serve coffee. A mori or kake soba costs 550 yen. I noticed a sign for new soba, but didn't check the details. When I inquired about the meat used in the curry, I was told it was chicken. So, I decided to go for the curry rice set. However, they kindly offered to make a curry soba with pork, so I went for that instead. The curry soba with pork costs 780 yen and is generously topped with pork belly and onions. The broth is mild and creamy, with a hint of spice. The soba noodles are thin, soft, and cooked just right. The portion size was quite satisfying. I look forward to trying their Napolitan or sauce yakisoba next time.

Visit date: 18/8/4, the first day of the consecutive holidays The weather was pleasant in Sapporo City. For lunch, I went to a soba + cafe restaurant called Cafe Erika. The interior of the restaurant was surprisingly spacious and bustling with regular customers. My family and I sat at a booth, I ordered the Napoli-style pasta in a large serving, while my wife chose the cheese hamburger set meal from the lunch menu. We both added an extra 150 yen for iced coffee after the meal. The food arrived promptly as we read magazines. The Napoli-style pasta I ordered was made with thin noodles and had a mild and easy-to-eat flavor without any sourness. Personally, I prefer thicker noodles. The ingredients included cabbage, onions, fish sausage, and seaweed soup and salad were served as sides. I also tried my wife's cheese hamburger set meal, which had a traditional taste with teriyaki sauce and cheese on top of the hamburger, which paired well with the rice. The set meal also came with a fried egg and miso soup with plenty of ingredients, as well as side dishes like potato salad, natto, and another salad. We enjoyed the iced coffee after the meal and had a great time enjoying our weekend lunch. It was my first visit, but the comfortable atmosphere and delicious food make me want to visit again in the future!

The restaurant serves hand-made soba noodles. The modern interior with jazz music gives a new and fresh vibe, but it still maintains the classic feel of a traditional coffee shop. I opted for the soba noodles with tempura set. The restaurant is known for its authentic dishes, so it's always crowded during lunchtime. I thought going a bit early would allow me to enjoy a quiet meal, but it was still quite busy. Despite the clean environment and non-smoking policy, a customer started smoking right when I was about to eat, mixing the smell of tobacco with the soba noodles. The tempura was average, with popular ingredients like shrimp, pumpkin, sweet potato, and eggplant, but lacked crunchiness. The soba broth was good though. I decided not to stay longer for drinks and left right after finishing my meal. This review is my first for this familiar restaurant, which I have known for about 25 years. The place has changed over time, but memories of the past and the personal connection with the staff remain. It is a popular spot for regulars, and depending on what you're looking for, it can be a charming place. Overall rating: 3.2 Taste: 3.1 Service: 3.3 Atmosphere: 3.0 Value for money: 3.3 Drink: - Location: 2-1-15 Higashi 2-1-15, Kita 24-jo, Higashi-ku, Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan. Soba & Cafe Erika ☆☆☆ Next episode preview ☆☆☆ I am unsure of what the right choice is at this place.

Located along Kita 24-jo Street, this restaurant, previously known as "Erika," seems to have been renovated recently. I visited for lunch and appreciated the menu displayed outside the shop. Inside, it's a typical old-fashioned cafe but with a clean and renovated feel. The lunch menu offers spaghetti and several set meals, all priced at 780 yen. The menu seems to be mostly fixed and doesn't change daily, except for the type of grilled fish in the set meals. I ordered the grilled fish set meal, which came with a generous portion of fish and a variety of side dishes. The rice portion is quite large, almost like a large serving at other restaurants, so it might be challenging for women to finish. However, the variety of side dishes makes it manageable. Surprisingly, the food was delicious and the cost performance is quite high. The meal is healthy and satisfying with a good selection of dishes. I also tried the spaghetti, which came with toast instead of extra noodles. Overall, I think the set meals offer better value with their variety of side dishes. The restaurant only serves lunch, but all lunch menu items are available throughout the operating hours, making it suitable for a late breakfast or lunch. The staff are friendly, and I would definitely visit this cafe often if it were in my neighborhood. In June 2018, I noticed they started serving soba noodles, with a variety of soba dishes on the menu.

I was drawn to this shop in the area that had high ratings from reviewers, so I hurriedly went there. There seems to be parking available for a few cars around the shop. The interior has a traditional coffee shop feel with counter seats and table seats, and there is also a separate room with table seats next to it, which is relatively quiet and has a good selection of magazines, creating a calm atmosphere. Cool jazz music is playing in the background. In addition to the regular coffee shop menu, there are lunch options such as spaghetti, fish, meat, and udon, offering a balanced selection. This time, I wanted to make up for my lack of vegetables, so I ordered the "Pork and Vegetable Stir-fry Set Meal (880 yen)" and chose a hot coffee for dessert, just like asking a fatherly figure like Dojo Rokusanro. Let's take a bite... The pork belly slices, which had a higher meat ratio than expected, were seasoned with a slightly sweet soy sauce base and a hint of black pepper. Along with onions, bean sprouts, and a sunny-side-up egg on top, it made the rice go down smoothly! There was also a salad, fried squid, and natto on the side, making it feel like a luxurious breakfast, but personally, I really appreciate having this variety. The miso soup with fried tofu and tofu, as well as the rice, provided a healthy and satisfying portion. After the meal, the hot coffee arrived, and even if it was pre-made, the turnover was quite fast, so I enjoyed a coffee with the bitterness and astringency typical of a coffee shop. The homey and high-quality potential of the food left a good impression, and with lunch including coffee for 880 yen, it's no wonder this place is popular. I'm looking forward to my next visit! Thank you for the meal.

Welcome! ┌¬o* * * 2014.08 ↓When dashing down North 24th Street in the East District of Higashi Ward, a sign for "Pizza & Pasta" caught my eye, and I stopped in front of a café that has been around since 1980. The interior of the café is cozy, with thick sofas and mostly older customers. I decided to sit at a table and was greeted by a lovely lady. As she cut cabbage with a serious expression, I couldn't help but chuckle at the thought of accidentally cutting her hand while being distracted. The daily lunch specials offered a variety of options, from classic pasta to fish set meals, tonkatsu, and soba noodles. It felt more like a restaurant than a café. I started with a refreshing glass of orange juice and then indulged in the Napoletana lunch set. The fluffy toast with butter was a perfect match for the consommé soup. The main dish, octopus and Vienna sausages, had a unique and delicious sauce that balanced sweetness and acidity. The thin noodles in the consommé soup were chewy and flavorful. The salad was also fresh and enjoyable. Overall, it was a relaxing and pleasant dining experience in a café where time seems to pass slowly. As I was editing and preparing to publish this review, I realized I forgot to mention the rice and miso soup. I look forward to trying the tonkatsu next time. Thank you for the delicious meal!

Located on the east side of Kita 24-jo Street, on the 1st floor of an apartment-like building, is the cafe & dining Erika. This cozy cafe offers a daily changing lunch menu where you can choose your dish. The highlight of this place is their miso soup, which I absolutely love! It is packed with ingredients, lightly seasoned, but with a rich miso and dashi flavor that feels like it's made with love. The miso soup and rice combination is simply delicious, a true treat. Sometimes I drop by for lunch and enjoy their fish set meals like salmon teriyaki, breaded fish, simmered flounder, or fried fish. The portions are generous and the flavors are homely and tasty. The meat set meals also impress with their juicy hamburg steak and delicious ginger pork. The side dishes that come with the set meals are always well-prepared and feature seasonal ingredients like mountain vegetables in spring or mushrooms in autumn. The lunch menu changes daily and costs 850 yen, including a drink, making it a great value for money. The interior of the restaurant has been recently renovated to a bright and welcoming space, perfect for a relaxing solo lunch. It seems to be a beloved spot in the neighborhood, with many regular customers. Overall, a visit to Erika is a delightful experience that never fails to uplift my spirits.

I visited a restaurant called 24-Jo Erika. I found it by chance while walking early in the morning around Mikaho Park. The restaurant was already open at 9 am, and they were preparing for lunch when I arrived. The exterior and interior of the restaurant were very clean and beautiful. The space next door had also been renovated. I ordered an iced coffee since it was early in the morning. It was served with ice cubes that were specially cracked for this one cup. The morning iced coffee was really delicious. Based on other reviews I read, it seems like the lunch menu is popular at this restaurant. I would like to try it if I have the chance. There was a tabletop game machine at the back of the restaurant. At first, the screen was completely dark, but the staff kindly turned it on for me. It was a bit of a surprise. After the opening screen, there was a waiting screen. It was usable. It seems like a rare tabletop arcade machine, so it alone is worth a visit. Thank you for the meticulously prepared iced coffee.

On this day, I stopped by the Sapporo branch office, and then went to the north 24th street for work. I had a specific restaurant in mind for lunch, but unfortunately it was closed. So, I searched the area on Tabelog and decided to go to this restaurant that I remembered from Smile-san's review. It seems like an old coffee shop, but the interior is bright and clean after renovation. There is a table with an Invader game-like setup, giving a sense of history. The daily lunch menu includes pasta, hamburg steak sets, as well as grilled fish and traditional Japanese meals. I usually eat a lot of noodles and sushi, but I felt like I needed a more balanced meal, so I chose the "Nukazuke Herring Set" without hesitation. The grilled herring was delicious, cooked fresh to order. The seasonal butterbur stalk simmer and spicy mountain wasabi were also in good condition. The miso soup had a generous amount and my favorite nameko mushrooms were plentiful. The rice was cooked soft and seemed to be made with Hokkaido rice, probably cooked in an electronic rice cooker. While the rice was good enough for a casual dining place, choosing a higher grade rice and cooking it in a pot could elevate the overall impression of the meal. Of course, there may be cost considerations, but "delicious rice" is a strong selling point for a restaurant serving set meals. Overall, the gentle and elegant seasoning gave a homely feel, more like a "city mom's" homemade Japanese meal rather than a rustic diner-style dish. The price of 850 yen including a drink was also a good deal. The option for unlimited rice refills is a bonus for big eaters. The location along a main road with many offices around attracted a lot of regular customers. It seems like a convenient place for those living nearby or working in the area, especially for someone like me who tends to have a limited diet.
