Last night, I stopped by on my way back from a solo trip. I was debating whether to eat at home or not, but I was curious about this restaurant as I suspected my portion might not have been prepared. It was around 5:30 pm on a weekday, so the place was not crowded. I sat at the counter and noticed that the conveyor belt was not moving. I wondered if this restaurant doesn't have a rotating system, but still, a sushi restaurant should have one, right? I placed my order on the order sheet, ordering 4 plates. I also noticed that they had surf clam neck on the menu, which was quite rare, so I orally ordered that as well. However, what followed was not great. There was only one young man working behind the belt, and his efficiency was lacking. The first plates arrived more than 10 minutes after ordering. The salmon and tuna were okay for their prices, but the size and thickness of the fish were not impressive. The salmon tasted like it might have been frozen and poorly handled. There were long gaps between dishes, during which I noticed a promotion for a discount coupon by adding the restaurant on LINE. I quickly registered and got a 30% discount, so I ordered more dishes. I ended up eating a total of 10 plates, and the final price after the discount was in the 1500 yen range, which seemed reasonable. The surf clam neck, which I often compare between restaurants, had a large opening. I also ordered the mackerel, which I couldn't try during my trip, but it was a bit disappointing as it used small mackerels commonly found in the market. The taste was too subtle to truly enjoy.

I visited a revolving sushi restaurant while attending an event at Aino Sato. This restaurant didn't have sushi rotating on a conveyor belt; instead, you had to order from the staff. I felt a bit guilty dining alone, so I chose a cheap option from the menu. After a 10-minute wait, I received a small bowl of sushi. At first, I thought the portion was quite small, but the quality of the fish and rice was satisfying. The variety of sushi was also good. If only they had included miso soup with the meal, it would have been perfect.

In August 2022, there is a conveyor belt sushi restaurant inside Toko Store Ainosato. Although the curtain is out, the dimly lit interior made me a little uneasy. When I visited, a young staff member was there to recommend menu items. I decided to try white fish, herring, and seafood battleship sushi. Surprisingly, the young staff member started making them. The sushi rice was a bit watery, and for a seafood battleship, one piece was enough for me.

I went in looking for a set meal with soba, but since it wasn't a weekday, they didn't have it. The staff kindly informed me that they had soba and udon available as single items. I was in a rush, so I quickly ate sushi only. I couldn't fully enjoy the taste, but it was perfect for when you're in a hurry!!! The interior of the restaurant felt a bit dark. Thank you for the meal♪

When it comes to Christmas, I always think of sushi and cake, so after work I stopped by the nearest conveyor belt sushi restaurant. I enjoyed my favorite sushi and was very satisfied. I can't eat a lot of rice, so I usually only have 4 or 5 plates. As other customers left, I ended up having a "solo Christmas" with the restaurant all to myself, which was quite amusing!笑

Visited Isshin after a long time for lunch and to adjust the time. It was 12:30 on a weekday and the restaurant was very empty. They have a great value lunch set, but we decided to order our favorite dishes. We had a three kinds of fish platter with herring, whitebait, eel, and shrimp, as well as a three kinds of shellfish platter with mantis shrimp, shellfish, and squid. We also had saury and sardines, but we were too hungry to remember to take a photo. The vinegar flavor was quite strong and delicious. Especially the squid was easy to eat, with a sharp knife cut and sweet flesh. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

This is around the Ainosato Kyodo Daieki station. I soaked in the hot springs and had a light lunch. I walked to Ainosato and ended up gaining weight on the way back, which is not a joke, haha. Inside, there was one customer before me and three customers after me. There were also a few people who had reserved takeout. The atmosphere inside was a bit dim, not very lively. Oh well, I thought as I sat at the counter. The rule in our house is that we can only have up to five plates of sushi. The girls in my house eat very little, so they feel full after three to four plates. If I eat 30 plates like I used to, it doesn't match their pace and I just keep getting fatter, so we have this rule. I follow it even when I'm alone. Five plates of sushi, that's the limit. This time, I had salmon, tuna, squid with wasabi, conger eel, and natto rolls. The taste was just average, nothing special. It doesn't compare to the famous revolving sushi places in Hokkaido, everything was just average. Maybe they need some kind of specialty dish. This might have been just a one-time thing, but all the staff were women. Thanks for the meal!

On a certain weekday, the planned restaurant for lunch was closed, so I decided to try out Isshin Sushi located inside the Toko Store in the Ainosato Station area of Kita Ward. There are not many options for dining in this area, so it was a bit disappointing. The parking is available on-site. The restaurant is not very spacious, with a counter and box seats separated by vinyl sheets. The background music consists of traditional Japanese pop tunes with the sound of a koto. I opted for the "Isshin Lunch" from the menu, which includes a variety of items for 990 yen. The daily assortment of eight pieces included soft and slightly tangy tuna, tender squid, what seemed like flounder fin, peeled shrimp, and well-paired salmon. The thick yellowtail stood out as the best among the selection. The large tamagoyaki had a slightly salty taste rather than being sweet. The miso soup with spinach, fried tofu, and green onions was tasty, although I was hoping for something more fish-related. The soba noodles had a slightly firm texture and were served with a relatively light tsuyu sauce. The chawanmushi had a strong egg flavor with three-leaf, shiitake mushrooms, bamboo shoots, chestnuts, and chicken. I noticed that the restaurant is putting in a lot of effort, especially during these difficult times in the food industry, by offering takeout and focusing on New Year's osechi dishes. Thank you for the meal.

The preparation of the tuna with a generous sprinkle of MSG, wrapped and stored in the refrigerator may be a common practice in many restaurants, but it should be done out of sight of the customers. Some people dislike MSG, and the overall cleanliness of the kitchen floor and tables visible from the counter was not up to standard. It is scary to imagine the curtain-covered kitchen area. Despite the effective use of MSG, the taste was not bad overall, but everything else was disappointing. Unfortunately, I will not be returning for a second visit. The cute bear mascot of MSG was a nice touch though.

I wonder if it was because it was Father's Day when I went? They had a weekend-only "drinking set" for 572 yen (tax included) where you could choose between salted squid or fresh sea urchin. I often go to this place, so when it's not too busy, the manager brings out about 4 plates of fatty salmon as soon as he sees my husband. Even though we drove there and my husband doesn't drink, I used him to order two of the drinking sets (like the one you see at supermarkets with a pack of eggs for one person). I was a bit nervous because they know I usually only let my husband drink water when we go there. The fresh sea urchin with flying fish roe on top was deliciously crunchy. I also really like their homemade salted squid, which I've ordered before. It was a great deal since my husband always drinks two beers each time we go (I think a single beer was around 400 yen?). I hope this special set becomes a regular thing! We also tried the udon and soba noodles from the new menu, but they were just okay.

My sister said she wanted to eat some fried chicken, so we decided to go to Isshin. We ordered various items like hamburg, corn mayo, crab mayo, seared salmon, negitoro, California rolls, and delicious oyster fry. The thick omelette is a must-try! The sushi was so good that we ended up ordering more as takeout to enjoy at home. The sushi is reasonably priced and fresh, and they also offer a variety of side dishes and unique sushi options. It's a great place for both kids and adults to enjoy. Overall, it was a delicious meal at Isshin!

One Heart Do you have any? For some reason, it's in Hakata dialect, but it's not a proverb or a figure of speech. While listening to that song by Ketsumeishi, I have a strong desire to eat sushi, so I head to Ichinoseki with all my heart. It's starting to get cold, and it's been getting colder rapidly lately. Be careful not to slip. The rice was delicious, and the soy sauce had a slightly strong sweetness. Is this the taste... Oh, you're such a child~ Is that how it is? I'll go all out with the 130 yen lunch special! Salmon & Sweet Shrimp □ At this point, I had a thought about the soy sauce... The salmon and shrimp were mediocre. Tuna (top red meat) & spear squid □ The tuna had a lot of sinew, but it was okay, but I could do without the spear squid. Finishing with mackerel & kohada × The mackerel had a mild acidity, but it was a bit fishy, and the firm bones of the mackerel bothered me. The kohada had a sharp flavor. This was a mistake to order. Raw salmon combo △ This was the most safe and edible nigiri. The soy sauce also started to blend in a bit. It's more like I've adapted to it. Live-caught kinmedai □ The taste wasn't bad, but there was a lot of fat stuck to the plate. It's a bit disappointing. It had a nice color on the skin side, but it would have been better if it had been seared to be crispy and fragrant... At this point, I didn't feel like ordering anything else. I'll leave before it becomes a Black Monday. For this lunch limited sushi, in order to compete with cheap conveyor belt sushi chains, I'm drawn to the idea of having two types of nigiri on one plate, like a half-and-half pizza... Before it becomes a Black Monday, I'll leave without ordering any more. I am a frequent customer at this restaurant because it's cheap, delicious, and I love going there (^O^). Finally, the staff recognized my husband as the "toro salmon guy". My favorite dishes are the octopus head and the mountain topping battleship sushi. On Wednesdays, they have a recommended combo for 130 yen, which is a great deal! I updated my photos because they had piled up. In April 2015, I lost at the restaurant's rock-paper-scissors game, so I insisted on having sushi for dessert to make up for it! My husband agreed, so we went to Uoichin. It was quite crowded, but we managed to get seats at the counter. We initially planned to eat just a couple of plates, but ended up devouring tuna sushi. We also had whitebait and tuna mountain topping battleship sushi. My husband, who had already eaten a pork bowl, ended up eating more... The sushi chefs were friendly and the fish was thick and delicious. We left the restaurant feeling satisfied after indulging in a feast. Thank you for the meal!

In early February 2016, I went to a revolving sushi restaurant with my friend Menko-chan in the neighborhood. We had some time to spare and decided to grab a bite to eat. Menko-chan wanted to eat tuna, so we went to the sushi restaurant inside the Toko Store near JR Ainoshima Station. We ordered tuna, salmon, and various other dishes, totaling 15 plates for 2905 yen. The food was decent, but the atmosphere could have been livelier. Overall, our stomachs were satisfied. Afterward, we went to an Italian bar for dessert. Thank you!

Sushi restaurant "Kaiten Sushi Isshin Ainosato Branch"
I wanted to do some year-end shopping, but my father was in the hospital and my mother couldn't drive, so I reluctantly drove to do the shopping. When I used to live here, I didn't feel out of place at all, but I was surprised to see so many bicycles on the snowy roads. Please don't fall in front of me. You probably won't make it in time to stop. Driving on snowy roads in an unfamiliar area coming from Tokyo is quite nerve-wracking. So, feeling exhausted from driving and not wanting to cook late, we decided to have dinner at a conveyor belt sushi restaurant.
The "Kaiten Sushi Isshin Ainosato Branch" is located in a shopping center, which is convenient and relatively close, so my parents seem to come here often. Oh, they have herring and live scallops from Saroma, nice♪ A rare item, shishamo nigiri. It's been about 2 years since I went all the way to Murekawa, the town of shishamo, to eat them. I thought you could only eat them in Murekawa. The taste is nothing special, just fresh fish, but it's nice to have something rare. The classic surf clam. Since it was the last one, they gave me an extra piece. Lucky. Kinmedai caught by fishing. The skin is crispy and delicious! Hirame fin. Wow, I'm happy to eat such fresh fin at a conveyor belt sushi restaurant. Herring. This might be the first time I've seen herring at a conveyor belt sushi restaurant. It was delicious, so I ended up ordering it again. It was Sunday night, but it was surprisingly empty, which worries me. I'll come again, so please don't go out of business.

Seems to be a group company of Isshin. There are various stores such as izakaya, supermarket, and non-conveyor belt sushi in the group.【Tabelog】
