Recently, there has been a remarkable surge in popularity for Sudou Seimen's noodles. Even at popular Chinese restaurants known for their delicious dishes, Sudou Seimen has become the new favorite. Initially, only a few items on the menu were from Sudou Seimen, but now it seems like almost everything is. Their rich chicken white broth ramen is something you rarely come across elsewhere. It is rich yet refreshing, bringing out all the best flavors of the chicken. The soup is meticulously made, with no hint of any unpleasant smell, just pure richness and deliciousness. It is a collagen treasure trove. The previous thin noodles from Ichiryu were quite delicious, but with Sudou Seimen taking over, the richness of the broth pairs perfectly with the noodles. The taste at this price!? This is what I feel every time I visit! This time, I had shredded pork with green peppers and stir-fried water spinach. They use beef from a brand called Takasu, which is A4 grade meat, and it was surprisingly tender and satisfying to eat. I am impressed by the chef's attitude of always trying to create something new. When you go here, don't forget to have almond jelly as a dessert!

For dinner, four of us visited "Shojikiya" in Toyohoka, Asahikawa City for the first time. The owner greeted us with great energy. We had reserved, so we were able to sit in a sunken kotatsu seat. First, we ordered "Perfect Classic Draft Beer 572 yen" x2, "Tomato Juice made only with mini tomatoes 398 yen", and "Black Oolong Tea 298 yen". This beer, available at the first Asahikawa certified "Perfect Classic Draft Beer" store, is incredibly delicious with a smooth creamy foam. The "Tomato Juice" is made with about 160 mini tomatoes, and it is surprisingly sweet. This restaurant is popular for its Chinese cuisine, so we ordered various dishes from the extensive menu. We ordered "Luxurious Crab Fried Rice 1,078 yen", "Asparagus Tempura 715 yen", "Shrimp Chili 759 yen", "Mapo Tofu 880 yen", "Shiitake Mushroom Karaage 638 yen", "Asparagus Butter Grilled 693 yen", "Shojikiya's Zangi 720 yen", "Karaage Pork 1,100 yen", "Thick Fried Tofu 682 yen", "Specialty Potato Fries 572 yen", and "Seasonal Vegetable Salad 748 yen". All the dishes were really delicious. Especially the "Crab Fried Rice" with plenty of crab, the "Shrimp Chili" with juicy large shrimp, and the spicy "Mapo Tofu" were outstanding. The Chinese cuisine here is truly popular for a reason. We added "Perfect Classic" "Sun Drop Lemon Sour 605 yen" and "Soft Drink" in between. The "Lemon Sour" has a strong fruit juice flavor and is refreshing. Finally, for dessert, we ordered "Strawberry Almond Jelly 792 yen" and "Regular Almond Jelly 385 yen". It was my first time trying almond jelly, and it had a new texture, smooth like yogurt, and incredibly delicious. This restaurant offers delicious food and drinks, as well as excellent customer service. It is a top-notch establishment with no flaws.

I used it for lunch on November 17th. I went thinking of eating tantanmen, but on this day's lunch menu, there was "Beef Tendon Tomato Curry" and "Beef Tendon Tomato Omelette Curry". I asked the master, and he said it would be available until it runs out, so I hurried to post this. The Beef Tendon Tomato Omelette Curry is available with various vegetables for an additional 50 yen. I ordered the "Beef Tendon Tomato Omelette Curry" (1,100 yen) + "Various Vegetables" (+50 yen), for a total of 1,150 yen. It arrived in about 7-8 minutes. You can tell just by looking at it that it's delicious. It uses "Takasu beef" tendon, which is cooked to be very tender. The curry contains plenty of mini tomatoes "Kirara", so you can taste the richness and sweetness of the tomatoes. With the "Various Vegetables" option, there are plenty of vegetables! Spinach, shimeji mushrooms, onions, burdock, and more, so you can fully taste the flavor of the vegetables. The egg is also fluffy and quite good. The soup, with plenty of spinach, was also delicious! After finishing the meal, the master asked, "Did it suit your taste?" Of course, I answered, "I am satisfied!" because it was very delicious! This time, I visited without knowing, but irregular menu items are often posted on Instagram! This place is definitely popular!

I initially missed the shop and passed by it. I went at a time when it wasn't crowded, but there were 3 cars in the parking lot in front of the shop, squeezing into one space. I was torn between tan-tan-men and ramen, but ended up choosing ramen. I was happy to receive a cold towel as a service. The ramen was served in just 5 minutes in a slightly unusual bowl. The soup seemed to be a hot chicken broth base with a simple soy sauce flavor that wasn't too strong, but had a good dashi taste. I could smell the scent of Mitsuba coming from the soup. Wakame seaweed was also included. The chashu seemed to be made from pork thigh, with a strong flavor and a firm texture. The noodles were thin straight noodles, which are rare in Asahikawa. Despite being thin, they had a good chew and didn't get soggy until the end. Overall, it was a very carefully made bowl of ramen. Considering the quality, the price of 580 yen was quite reasonable. It was a light and enjoyable meal. Thank you for the meal.

I visited Honesty-san which I had been curious about for a while. A child occasionally showed their face and got attention from regular customers, they were friendly and cute. The atmosphere felt homely. The manager was friendly and cooked alone, but the dishes came out one by one without much wait. The Mapo Tofu, the specialty of the restaurant, had a slight spiciness and was delicious. The meat soboro omelette with melted cheese was also amazing. The butter-grilled shiitake mushrooms and crispy fried nagaimo were all delicious. The whimsical salad with homemade dressing was tasty too. Next time, I definitely want to go for lunch and try the tantanmen! Oh, they have tantanmen on the dinner menu too, but I might not be able to try other appetizers then. I want to visit this lovely restaurant again.

On 20/09/26, I had the "Spicy Sichuan Noodles for 850 yen" for lunch on a day off. My wife and daughter were not home on a Saturday afternoon, so I headed to a residential area in Toyooka. A well-known reviewer highly praised this lunch-only menu. The enticing spicy Sichuan noodles were calling out to me. I sat at the counter and pondered for a moment. The ramen looked delicious. The ginger pork fried rice was tempting. Hmm, decisions, decisions. In times like these, stick to your initial choice! Excuse me, I'll have the spicy Sichuan noodles, please. The spicy Sichuan noodles were delicious. The chicken-based soup even had aged Parma ham in it. The owner's original spicy oil added a deep spiciness to it. Inside the bowl, carefully roasted sesame seeds and seasoned minced meat were ready. When mixed well... it turned into an even more flavorful and delicious soup! The noodles were straight noodles made by Ichiryu Seimen, using 100% Hokkaido wheat. I quickly devoured the noodles. Perhaps due to the spiciness, I was sweating on my forehead. Of course, I finished every last drop. It seemed like a husband and wife were running the place. They even had their wedding photo displayed. The cozy atmosphere made it seem like a fun place for drinking too. Next time, I definitely want to visit for the evening session.

When I arrived a little earlier than my reservation time, the dishes were just being prepared, and I appreciated the effort to provide freshly made food. The service was very polite and welcoming. ✲Food✲ I wanted to try a variety of dishes, so I ordered an assortment of appetizers. Just as recommended, every dish I tried was delicious and had a rich flavor that shone through in each genre. However, each dish had a strong flavor profile and was quite rich. Alcohol is a must-have accompaniment. By the way, the shrimp was huge and so succulent, it was the best. Honesty-san's lunch is back! My husband said he wanted to go, so we decided to go. It was my first time going! I had the soy sauce ramen, with thin straight noodles, lots of green onions and leeks! It also had mitsuba and grated ginger. It was delicious!!! We also ordered the Zangi (7 pieces) from Honestya, and it was incredibly delicious. They also sell rice directly from the farm, so I would like to buy it next time! I'll have my husband take me there again☆

It has been a year since it moved from Toyooka to Toyooka. The parking lot has expanded. The restaurant is now bigger and cleaner. It's a bit hard to find now, but it's a great place. I went to have lunch at a newly relocated restaurant for the first time. I ordered the A lunch, which was a mapo tofu rice bowl. The lunchtime staff, a young man, seemed a bit nervous while serving. I wondered if the mapo tofu would be too spicy as usual. The dish had a strong flavor of Sichuan pepper, with the spiciness kicking in a bit later. Since it was my first time trying mapo tofu, I couldn't really judge, but the group of four people from a nearby company seemed to enjoy it, taking lots of pictures and saying it was delicious. The atmosphere was lively with many regular customers. The lunch hours are from 12:00 to 14:00, with the last order at 13:30, so it's a short lunch window. On my way out, I received many flowers from the restaurant. I'm curious about their dinner service as well.
