Business days are only on Fridays and Saturdays. Arrived on Saturday at 11:25. One person waiting. There are 3 chairs for waiting. Sat down on a chair and waited. By 11:40, there were 13 people waiting. The shop opened exactly at 12:00, with 15 people waiting at that time.
- Mont Blanc with Japanese chestnut 750 yen (tax included): Description "A tall Mont Blanc with a crispy tart and almond cream base, filled with one whole chestnut, topped with whipped cream and Japanese chestnut cream." A tall Mont Blanc with a fragrant cream. The base is a substantial baked good.
- Croissant aux amandes 400 yen: Description "A large croissant with plenty of fermented butter, filled and topped with almond cream." A large croissant that is crispy and fragrant, with a good amount of sweetness.
- Financier 232 yen
- Galette 200 yen
- Sablé amand 240 yen
My family enjoyed the delicious cakes and croissants. The shop has limited business days and always has long lines, making it a rare find. Some customers were buying in bulk.
[Regarding reservations] According to their website, reservations are only available for whole cakes. Customers can call on business days or send a direct message on Instagram (until 5:00 PM one week before). There is a sign in the shop saying, "Customers picking up whole cakes without additional purchases can enter without waiting in line."

Visited in the afternoon on a regular day. Arrived before 2:30 pm and there was only one other customer. This shop was selected for the first time in the recent announcement of the top 100 sweets shops, and it seems to be from the super popular Tokyo shop "Patisserie Ryoko". This time, I purchased two items.
<Milk Crepe 600 yen> The homemade crepe was chewy. The custard and cream were well balanced, giving a refined impression without being too sweet. The texture of both the dough and cream was solid, providing a satisfying eating experience. While it didn't have fruits, it felt a level above other milk crepes I've had before.
<Chocolat Noir 620 yen> The 65% chocolate mousse had a smooth texture and a strong cocoa aroma. The crispy Feuillantine added a great accent. Overall, the sweetness was kept at a moderate level, resulting in a non-cloying finish. It's a challenging shop that only opens on Fridays and Saturdays, but the taste is definitely worth the popularity. I would like to try their tart if I have the chance. Thank you for the meal.

I visited Rafca for the first time. It's a shop I haven't been able to go to before. I bought Mont Blanc, Muscat Tart, Fromage Gateau Chantilly, and Chocolate Noir. The Chocolate Noir is rich and delicious. The Gateau Chantilly has a fluffy sponge which is nice. The Muscat Tart is fresh and the tart crust is crispy and tasty. The Fromage is rich but not too heavy, and delicious. The Mont Blanc has a rich chestnut flavor which is good. Thank you for the meal.

Located near the Imperial Hotel in Sakuranomiya, "Lafca" is a popular spot that is only open on Fridays and Saturdays. I once tried to visit at 12:30 and there was already a line of about 20 people, so I gave up. Today, I went to the nearby popular ramen shop "Hiyoko" for lunch and then rushed over to Lafca, arriving at 11:55. Even though it was before opening time, there were already people waiting, and the restaurant only allows 4 customers inside at a time. I waited for about 10 minutes before being able to enter, as the previous 3 customers were still settling their bills. I was able to take my time choosing what to order. I tried the Grapefruit and Pistachio Cream Tart for 680 yen, which was a crispy tart filled with almond cream, custard cream, grapefruit, and pistachio cream. The combination of pistachio and grapefruit, especially the pink grapefruit, was delightful. The pistachio flavor was rich, the grapefruit was refreshing and sweet, and the tart crust was deliciously almond-flavored and moist. It was the best tart crust I've ever had. The cream, grapefruit, and tart all came together perfectly. I understand why this place is so popular, even with its limited hours on Fridays and Saturdays. Be prepared to wait in line, but it's worth it. If you're interested in this restaurant, please save it based on this review.

After finishing up errands in Temmabashi, I moved to Sakuranomiya. This place was even more challenging than the sushi restaurant earlier, as they only open on Fridays and Saturdays. I arrived around 11:50 and there were already 10 people in line. It seemed like they opened just before noon, with a limit of 4 people inside at a time, so I had to wait outside for about 10 minutes. I heard the peach dessert was recommended, but I've been spending too much money lately, so I just ordered one. I also got a small soft serve ice cream because it was hot outside. I paid with my mobile wallet and it cost 1080 yen. The soft serve was delicious, rich, sweet, and cold. I decided to check out the sushi restaurant again to see if the situation had changed. When I got home, I chilled the Mont Blanc dessert and tried it, it was good but not mind-blowing.

My favorite patisserie, Ryo from Takanawadai. The shop is run by someone who used to work in Osaka, and I bet the pastries there are amazing. A friend who went on a sweets tour in Osaka brought me a financiers from there. It was delicious, with a strong buttery flavor from being baked at a high temperature. But of course, I have to try their cakes too! It's a popular shop with long lines even before it opens. I definitely want to visit when I go to Osaka.

On June 3, 2023 (Saturday), I tried the Millefeuille dish for ¥750 (tax included). It is made with pastry dough using domestic wheat, folded with plenty of butter and baked until crispy. It is combined with a rich mousseline. It sandwiches a strawberry and raspberry confit mousse sauce between the layers of pastry. The Caramel Cake for ¥1,300 (tax included) is made with domestic wheat and butter, with a hint of salt as an accent. When brought to room temperature, it becomes moist.

[Rafuka]さん...This popular sweets shop in Osaka is open only on Fridays and Saturdays♪(#^.^#) On a rainy day, I was able to visit when the showcase was filled with cute cakes. I have been here many times, but it may be the first time it was so full (laughs). I purchased the Tart Frais and Chocolat Noir. The Tart Frais is a crispy tart filled with almond cream, raspberry confit, custard cream, strawberries, and fresh cream, creating an exquisite combination that was very delicious(^o^)丿 The Chocolat Noir is a 65% chocolate mousse with vanilla cream, crunchy feuilletine, and chocolate dough, which was a superb match. The cakes were of high quality and matched my taste preferences. I would definitely like to visit again in the future (≧▽≦)/~♡

Osaka Sakuramiya pattisserie LAFCA - Taiwan Pine Tart (680 yen) and Japanese Lemon x Mascarpone Mousse (650 yen). They are only open on Fridays and Saturdays, so it's hard to go there often. It had fewer items due to the late hour, but it made decision-making easier for me. The visuals are still cute, and the taste is delicious. I wish they had more opening days...

I visited after a long time. Today, there was only one person in line, so I was lucky. The cakes are delicious, of course, but the cream croissant is exceptional. The buttery, crispy croissant pairs perfectly with the fresh cream and custard cream, making it very delicious. ★ Payment with PayPay is available.

The other day, I finally visited a bakery that I had been longing to visit for 3 years, and to my surprise, I was also able to secretly visit this patisserie that I had been wanting to go to for a long time!!! It is a cake shop in Sakuranomiya, Osaka called "Patisserie Lafuka." It turns out that it is from the famous "Patisserie Ryoko." Originally popular in Higashi Osaka, it really showed its true colors after moving to Minato-ku, Tokyo. It is now ranked number one in the cake department on Tabelog, even earning the BRONZE title. As an Osaka resident, I am so proud ♡♡♡・:*:・(*˘︶˘*).。*♡・:*:・ Now, about "Lafuka." It is only open on Fridays and Saturdays, and sometimes only once a week if there are events. Furthermore, they often sell out before noon, making it quite a high hurdle to get their cakes. When I go to cake shops in Tokyo, I often see long lines, but on this day, there were many customers who had come from Tokyo. The time was 2:00 PM. There were only a few cakes left, but there were still macarons and butter sablés that were perfect as gifts! Phew ♡ ◉ Mont Blanc 630 yen ◉ Caramel Tart 650 yen There are two types of Mont Blanc available: the popular Japanese chestnut type and a French type with a strong liquor flavor. I prefer the French type! The Mont Blanc with French chestnuts and a fragrant liquor aroma is the classic choice! The meringue on top is sweet and crispy. That's the charm of Mont Blanc, right? There are also large chestnut pieces inside, making it very satisfying. The Caramel Tart is filled with nuts, semi-dried fruits, and sticky caramel toffee!! It's incredibly sweet. But it has a nice sharpness and a refreshing taste. The tart is generously filled with butter and has a crunchy texture! The round, pure white mascarpone cheese mousse with a texture like a snow rabbit was also lovely. I've found a patisserie that I want to complete after a long time ♡ I wish they were open more often~ (՞o̴̶̷̤ ̫ o̴̶̷̤՞) Thank you for the delicious meal ✩.*˚

Rafuka in Sakuranomiya. After waiting for 4 years, I finally managed to purchase it! I had been dealing with changes in business days, long lines, and constantly checking Instagram without being able to buy it at all. I thought I would wait until things calmed down, but 4 years had passed. Currently, they are open on Fridays and Saturdays from 12 pm, so I decided to go on a Friday. Miracle of miracles, no line! This is even more amazing than a zero-calorie drink being truly zero! (in terms of scientific control or lack thereof) I bought some cakes that caught my eye. Oh, I bought three of them! Is it okay? Well, I went to the gym for 2 hours this morning, so maybe that will offset it...? (wishful thinking) ★Chestnut Mont Blanc (750 yen) The Mont Blanc was popular, especially this limited edition one only available until tomorrow. Not too sweet, but the cream is sweet and the chestnut even sweeter! Delicious! The crispy cookie at the bottom is irresistible! What a carb bomb! I'm going to fly! ・Mille-feuille (750 yen) It's hard to eat! But it's delicious! The tartness of the strawberries, the sweetness of the custard, and the crispiness of the pastry are irresistible! ★★Fromage Cru (560 yen) This was the one with the least left, so I decided to go for it. And it was a hit. The acidity of the cheese is irresistible! Even with the added sweetness, I can't get enough! I could keep eating it forever! Personally, this was my favorite. It's been a while since I've had cake, but efficient consumption of large amounts of carbs and fats is truly scary. And the fact that it can be eaten one after another without realizing it is even scarier. It's uncontrollable, unconscious addiction that is dangerously alluring. But, after waiting for 4 years. It's like waiting for a whole World Cup. Just a little bit, right?

After enjoying delicious Spanish cuisine, we headed to Sakuranomiya for some sweets time. The store page states irregular holidays, but when we visited at the end of 2022, it was only open on Fridays, making it quite a challenging place to visit. However, on the first day of the New Year, which happened to be a Friday, we checked their Instagram and it seemed like they were open that day. We arrived at the store just before 2 o'clock, and even at that time, there were already six people in line! Since it was a take-out only place, we bought two delicious cakes and enjoyed them at our usual hideout. We got the Mont Blanc, made with French chestnuts and Italian chestnuts in chestnut cream with meringue, and the Tart Caramel, a tart filled with nuts, semi-dried fruits, and caramel topped with mascarpone mousse. Both were absolutely delicious! A local lady passing by on her bicycle asked us what kind of store it was since it was mostly closed. We told her it was a popular Western confectionery store, and she ended up lining up behind us and happily bought a Mont Blanc made with Japanese chestnuts. We hope this store continues to be loved by locals and fans from afar. Thank you for the meal!

Currently, the business hours are only in the afternoon on Fridays and Saturdays, which seems like a familiar but unstable business model. The variety of products is similar to before, with around 20 types of wagashi (Japanese sweets) and a wide range of baked goods and cakes.
Purchased Items (including tax):
- Chocolate Tart (650 yen) - Rating: 4.0
- Apple Pie (650 yen) - Rating: 3.9
- Shine Muscat Tart (720 yen) - Rating: 3.9
- Chocolat Noir (560 yen) - Rating: 3.7
- Millefeuille Pistachio (750 yen) - Rating: 3.4
- Other: Mont Blanc with Japanese chestnut (750 yen) - Rating: 4.2
Overall, the experience was good, with some standout items like the Chocolate Tart and the Mont Blanc. The business days being limited may cause some concern, but surprisingly there wasn't much of a line and the products were plentiful. It's a shame that Miserables was closed on the day of the visit. Will definitely revisit in the future. Overall rating: 4.0.

Recently, the restaurant is only open on Fridays and Saturdays. They offer a fig tart for 720 yen, a Praline for 600 yen, and a cream and red bean croissant for 480 yen. The figs used are from Kukajitsu-en. The tart crust is crispy and delicious. The Praline has chocolate cream, apricot confit, vanilla cream, and praline cream on top.

Visited on Saturday after 1:00 PM and there was a line forming. Luckily, they had Croissant Amande today. I bought 2. The Shine Muscat tart was incredibly delicious with a cheese cream and slightly salty, crispy tart base. The combination was even more delicious. The shortcake had a moist sponge and delicious cream with tasty figs. The Nagano Purple Panna Cotta was refreshing with a rich grape flavor. The lack of sponge at the bottom was a bit disappointing, but it was still very delicious as a dessert. The Croissant Creme was a crispy on the outside, moist on the inside croissant filled with plenty of cream, custard, and red bean paste. It was very delicious. All the cakes were outstandingly delicious, so I'm glad I got to eat them today. ★Payment with PayPay available★ Parking at OAP Tower for 1,500 yen tax included, 2 hours free with use.

I went around 15:30 and there were many types of cakes available. I had a Macadamia Nut Tart. It had a subtle banana flavor, was not too sweet, and was very easy to eat. The tart was crispy and delicious.

Popular sweets shop "LAFCA"♪ The shop is a 6-minute walk from Sakuranomiya Station West Exit, near the Imperial Hotel Osaka. During my visit, it seemed that the shop was only open on Fridays and Saturdays, and I finally managed to visit on a Saturday around noon. There were 5 people waiting outside the shop, and I became the 6th person in line on the sidewalk. After about a 15-minute wait, I entered the shop and purchased 4 cakes: Chocolat Noir, Gateau Fraise, Setouchi Lemon Pie, and Rich Fromage. I also wanted to try the milk soft serve, but unfortunately, it was sold out that day. The Gateau Fraise was a fluffy shortcake made with rice flour and seasonal fruits, with a light cream and fresh strawberries. The Setouchi Lemon Pie had a lemon cream filling on a pie crust topped with mascarpone mousse, creating a rich and flavorful combination. The Chocolat Noir featured a 65% chocolate mousse with vanilla cream and crispy nougat, coated in a smooth and bitter chocolate. The Rich Fromage was a smooth and rich cheesecake with a creamy texture and a delicious taste. Overall, I was very satisfied with all the cakes and would love to try more in the future. Thank you for the delicious treats!

The mille-feuille had a crispy pastry with a hint of salt and plenty of butter, which was delicious. It was filled with strawberries, custard cream, and whipped cream. Unfortunately, the cream croissant was sold out today, which was a bit disappointing... It's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

I visited the store on Children's Day, which is only open on Fridays and Saturdays, and was worried about the long line. Luckily, it was not crowded and there were plenty of cakes available. I bought the Gâteau Chantilly for 560 yen including tax and the Croissant Crème for 450 yen including tax. The cakes here have delicious whipped cream and sponge cake. The strawberries are sweet and go well with the cake. The Croissant Crème is a crispy croissant with a rich aroma of fermented butter, filled with plenty of whipped cream and custard cream. The part where the croissant is moistened by the cream is also delicious. I'm glad I could enjoy these cakes today. ★ Payment with PayPay is possible.
