Chilled tomato noodles for 950 yen. Nori rice for 120 yen. A summer limited cold ramen dish. They recommend adding lots of chili oil when eating. The soup is made with tomato and basil, giving it a refreshing taste. You can adjust the flavor with chili oil. The portion of noodles is generous, and towards the end, you can mix in the nori rice for a refreshing tea rice bowl-like dish. It's quite filling. Perfect for the hot summer weather. It would have been even better if the air conditioning was a bit stronger.

Arrived at 5:30 pm on a regular day. No previous customers, one group arrived after. This is my third visit in 2 and a half years. I found out on Twitter the day before that they had started offering a summer limited menu. There was one male staff member. The background music was from a community FM radio station. The menu prices had increased by 50-150 yen since my last visit, but that's understandable. This time, I ordered the "Chilled Tomato Noodles" (950 yen) and "Nori Rice" (120 yen). The noodles arrived first, along with a bottle of chili oil. The soup had a good chicken broth base with plenty of refreshing tomato and basil flavors. The noodles were firm, just the way I like them. It came with two thick slices of chicken ham, half a boiled egg, mitsuba, paprika, and a slice of lemon. I added five dashes of chili oil halfway through, and it went really well with the noodles. After finishing the noodles, the rice arrived. It was a small bowl of turmeric rice, slightly warm, with perfect nori and soup combination. It was delicious! I was quite satisfied this time as well. The rice filled me up nicely. It would be great if they had variations like shrimp or salsa for the rice, similar to the warm dishes. Next time, I'll try the "Herbal Curry."

I visited the restaurant around 11:30 am. There was one customer already seated and five customers came in after me. I sat at the counter facing the street and ordered the most popular dish, "Shrimp Jyurashi," and the "Cheese on Rice" for the finale. The dishes arrived in about 5 minutes. The appearance was more like a Western-style dish than ramen, with noodles that seemed more fitting to be called "noodles" rather than ramen. When I tasted the soup, I could taste the shrimp at the forefront, supported by the tomato cream. It made sense that it was a soup for risotto. The soup, made without any chemical seasonings, was even more delicious. The noodles were medium-thick curly noodles that had a satisfying texture. I would have preferred them to be a bit chewier. After finishing the noodles, I added the turmeric rice. I forgot to take a picture of the rice, but it was cooked quite firm. Even when added to the soup, the rice still had a good firmness to it. It was not hard, but had a good bite to it. Eating the rice with the soup was delicious. I think having rice for the finale is a must. Overall, it was a tasty meal! It's getting warmer now, and I noticed a few small flies, but that may have just been a coincidence. Rating: 3.44

Fukunoki is located just off Ishiyama Street, turning towards Susukino. I tried their Salsa Tomato Noodle with Cheese on Rice. The ramen uses a lot of tomatoes, making it more like a soup pasta than traditional ramen. The most popular dish is the Shrimp Jyarashi. It doesn't feel like ramen, but it's filling and has a distinct flavor. The tomato taste is not too light, but rather bold. They accept various electronic payments and the restaurant is non-smoking.

The most popular dish was the shrimp noodles. It was clear that the female owner prioritizes health-consciousness and uses no artificial seasonings. The rich tomato and shrimp flavors were delicious. It's more like noodles than ramen, and the rice dish at the end was also tasty like risotto. The umami flavor that penetrates the body in this blissful dish with no artificial seasonings left me completely satisfied.

I had the Ebi Curry Noodle and it was delicious! I've always been curious about what Tomato Noodle is, and I'm glad I tried it this time. Apparently, all their ramen dishes use three tomatoes, which seems good for the body. I chose the limited-time Ebi Curry Noodle this time, and it was a great combination of tomato and curry flavors. Adding shrimp made it even more delicious. The generous amount of cheese was luxurious. The soup was really tasty with a rich flavor. The original medium-thick twisted noodles were perfect for soaking up the soup. I also tried the Cheese Ojiya after finishing the noodles, and it was delicious too. It felt like eating a delicious curry soup. I'm already full. I'm interested in trying other menu items, especially the most popular Ebi Jarashi next time. I'm glad I tried it. Thank you for introducing me to new flavors! Thank you for the meal!

Today's dinner was at Fukunoki, a famous restaurant known for its tomato noodles. They are particular about using no chemical seasonings and use the equivalent of three tomatoes in each bowl of ramen. I ordered the summer limited cold tomato noodles with chicken sausage, seaweed rice, half portion of medicinal herb curry, and cheesecake for dessert. The water served was like lemon water, very refreshing.
First, the cold tomato noodles arrived. As soon as I took a sip of the soup, I thought it tasted more like pasta tomato sauce than ramen soup. The tomato flavor was prominent and paired perfectly with the chilled noodles. The chicken was topped with basil sauce, giving it an Italian touch. The chicken sausage topping was tender and flavorful with spices.
After finishing the noodles, I mixed the seaweed rice to create a cold tea rice dish. Despite usually finishing my soup completely, I struggled a bit this time because the tomato sauce was delicious but not something you would drink on its own.
Next, I tried the medicinal herb curry. It was a waterless curry made with plenty of onions and ginger, without extra spices. The strong ginger flavor and the sweetness of the vegetables made this curry quite unique and flavorful.
Finally, I enjoyed the exquisite cheesecake made with fermented Tokachi cream cheese and fermented cream. The sauce on top seemed to be made from haskap berries. It was a light and elegant cheesecake with a refreshing taste, not overly sweet.
Overall, the dishes at this restaurant are light and won't burden your stomach. If you prefer rich and heavy flavors or seek a feeling of fullness, this might not be the best choice for you. Thank you for the delicious meal!

Tomato x shrimp x Chinese herbal medicine x cheese x curly noodles = A harmonious umami flavor with an addictive dashi taste that is incredibly delicious. Gentle. + Rice on cheese = The ultimate risotto. Even if you're not in the mood to eat, you'll find yourself irresistibly drawn to order it... A restaurant that I had been curious about for a while but never found the right timing to visit. If you're tired of the usual ramen flavors like miso, salt, or soy sauce, this is a must-visit spot. It seems like it would appeal to women. Taking shrimp broth in a pressure cooker and using a luxurious three tomatoes per person... I definitely want to try replicating those tips.

2020 Review Omitted Series, still going strong (*'ω'*)
- Ebi Jarashi (980 yen): Apparently the most popular dish. The rich shrimp soup is mellowed out by the tomato cream. Delicious♬ Tomatoes are said to boost immunity, so it's perfect for the current times♪ Even though I usually don't like ginger, I didn't even notice it and enjoyed the dish.
- Cheese on Rice (120 yen): After finishing the noodles, add this in. It turned into a delicious finishing risotto♪ The soup was also tasty, and I was able to finish it without any guilt!! While eating, I started feeling warm from the inside, thanks to the effects of Chinese herbal medicine. It made me feel so energetic, Chinese herbal medicine is amazing~ Also, the fact that the water was lemon water left a good impression. I would definitely visit this place when feeling low on energy (*'ω'*)

I used the Go To Eat campaign to find a restaurant for dinner and found a place that caught my eye. I knew that they served ramen with tomatoes as the main ingredient, but this was my first time dining there. As I looked at the menu, I noticed that they had more Italian-style dishes with tomatoes, often paired with cheese. I was also intrigued by their medicinal curry. I'll try that next time I visit. There were many posts emphasizing the health benefits of tomatoes and the fact that they don't use pork or lard. I wonder if health-conscious people are the ones who choose this restaurant. Despite the variety of menu options, I was in the mood for something closer to ramen, so I ordered the least Italian-sounding dish - a white sesame tantan-style tomato ramen. While waiting for my food, I noticed that the counter table was sticky. I tried wiping it down with alcohol and napkins, but couldn't get rid of the stickiness. I gave up trying to clean it. After about 5 minutes, my dish arrived. I took a sip of the soup and felt that it lacked depth of flavor. It seemed like they almost got it right, but the final seasoning of the soup was not done well enough. I could taste the flavors of the minced meat, tomatoes, and sesame ingredients, but they were not well combined to create a soup that complemented the noodles. As a result, it still felt unfinished. The saltiness was also lacking, so I added some salt from the container on the counter, which helped the flavor a bit. Of course, taste preferences and desired saltiness levels vary from person to person. However, if they are using noodles that are usually used for Sapporo miso ramen, then they need to create a soup with an equally impactful flavor to avoid an unbalanced noodle dish. I had higher expectations for the ramen, but you never know until you try it. I would like to try their curry next time. One thing that bothered me was the service. I wish the staff had been a bit more relaxed. When I tried to use QR code payment at the checkout, I told them the name of the QR code, but they didn't seem to do anything. I had to tell them again to read the code. If they needed me to present the code for them to scan and input manually, they should have told me when I offered to use QR code payment. It was a bit off-putting. Of course, cash is easier for the staff to handle, but if they accept QR code payments, they should provide proper assistance. I hope the service will be more pleasant next time I visit.

Arrived at 12:00 on a regular day. There were 2 groups of customers before us, totaling 3 people, and 2 people arrived after us. It was my second visit in 9 months. Besides the female owner, there was one staff member. It seems that the prices have been revised since my last visit, with an increase of 20 to 50 yen. This time, I ordered the "White Sesame Tomato Tantanmen" (930 yen). It arrived promptly. The soup was slightly thick, with a smooth sesame flavor and plenty of refreshing tomato. It was delicious! The spiciness was just right for those who prefer medium spiciness. It made my body feel warm. There was a faint scent of Sichuan pepper. The noodles were similar to the "Shrimp Jyara-shi" dish, slightly firm and satisfying. There was plenty of coarse meat miso, along with Mitsuba and paprika as additional toppings. It was a satisfyingly delicious meal with a unique taste. I might prefer it over the "Shrimp Jyara-shi". Next time, I will try the "Herbal Curry".

Located at the western end of Route 36, this restaurant asked if it was my first time there before taking my order. They explained the menu to me and recommended trying the cheese & rice as a finishing touch to fully savor the soup of their ramen. I ordered the tantanmen for 930 yen, with the noodles changed to spicy ones for an additional 50 yen (a special offer according to a sign on the wall), and a half portion of medicinal curry for 470 yen, bringing the total to 1570 yen. The menu stated that prices include tax. With only one other customer dining, my tantanmen was served quickly. The tomato-based soup had no noticeable sourness, making it suitable even for those who don't like tomatoes. Despite its appearance, the spicy noodles were not actually spicy. After considering everything, I concluded that I probably wouldn't visit this restaurant again.

I arrived at Fukunoki in front of the Chuo Ward Office. I had tried some unusual ramen the day before, so my interest was piqued once again. I remembered hearing about tomato ramen, so I decided to try it here. There were no other customers at the counter. I looked at the menu and saw the most popular item listed: Shrimp Jalapeno for 980 yen. The description said, "Our pride made with three types of shrimp! A rich shrimp soup cooked slowly in a pressure cooker with tomato cream flavor! Please enjoy it while breaking the special shrimp paste." The entrance sign mentioned the benefits of tomatoes, such as improving intestinal health and boosting immunity. This ramen is perfect for the COVID-19 pandemic. Let's dig in! This is like Italian ramen! Tomato with cheese! It's a shrimp broth ramen, but it has a strong Italian influence. The shrimp complements the ramen nicely. The curly noodles are chewy like pasta. It may be a matter of personal preference, but it's delicious. I finished every drop of the soup! A ramen that makes you crave French bread. I was satisfied. Thank you for the meal. This is my 123rd ramen review this year.

Recently, I have gained weight (´Д` ). It's probably because I have been indulging in ramen quite frequently since the beginning of this year, which I like to call the "4th Ramen Boom" in my own little world. Honestly, Sapporo has many delicious ramen shops, so I tend to overeat (o^^o). But, I need to start being more health-conscious...
Today's lunch was at a health-oriented restaurant called "Fukunoki," where tomatoes are the main ingredient. I'm not particularly excited about tomatoes, and I'm not a fan of them either (汗). However, the term "health-oriented" caught my attention.
The restaurant is located on the left side of the road before Ishiyama Street, just past Susukino on Route 36. There are 2 parking spaces in front of the store. I had to give up on visiting last time because the parking lot was full (ノД`).
The interior of the restaurant is stylish with a white color scheme. They have designed it with the intention of welcoming female customers.
I ordered the popular "Ebi Jarashi" (shrimp chili) from the abundant menu featuring tomatoes as the main ingredient.
The dish arrived promptly. The soup was bright red with a large shrimp, paprika, mizuna, and powdered cheese. The aroma of the powdered cheese was appetizing. The soup was rich and creamy, a combination of shrimp broth, stewed tomatoes, and chicken bone soup. The flat, curly noodles were like fettuccine and paired well with the soup.
The red and yellow bell peppers were nutritious and added a sweet flavor. The green mizuna was a nice touch to the creamy soup. The dish did not contain any pork ingredients, so instead of chashu, there was a large shrimp that had been cooked until tender.
Tomatoes are rich in lycopene, which has been proven to reduce "free radicals" that can damage the body, promote metabolism, aid in fatigue recovery, and improve skin health. They are also high in potassium, which helps eliminate salt from the body.
I finished every last drop of the soup and enjoyed it thoroughly. It was a healthy and delicious ramen experience.
The restaurant owner is apparently a well-known female food creator. It was my first time visiting and learning about her.
Overall, despite my initial reservations about tomatoes, I found the dish to be delicious and beneficial for my health (≧∀≦).
Thank you for the meal!♬

Today, for the first time, I visited a restaurant and tried their signature dish "Ebi Jarashi" for 980 yen (tax included). It's a dish that is hard to categorize, not a ramen, pasta, or minestrone, truly unique. The perfect balance between tomato and shrimp soup was truly surprising. I expressed my respect to the owner for their dedication and perseverance in creating such a dish. Most restaurants stop menu development after a certain number of tries, but this dish shows a strong sense of self-trust and determination. I was truly impressed by the dedication and effort put into creating this dish at Fukunoki restaurant in Sapporo.

I visited for dinner after a long time, so I will only upload photos. "Shrimp Chili (980 yen)" + "Cheese on Rice (120 yen)" Tomato + shrimp soup with shrimp as an ingredient. I'm not a big fan of shrimp, so I prefer regular tomato noodles, but I think it's good for shrimp lovers.

I finally visited a famous beauty ramen shop with a high-minded concept. Despite its somewhat inconvenient location and lack of parking, the shop has been featured on local TV shows and magazines multiple times. Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, I decided to stop by while walking around to avoid contact with others. The glamorous female owner, a renowned herbalist, was not there, only a quiet young man. I ordered the most popular shrimp jalapeno ramen but with a spicy chili noodle option. They also had gluten-free noodles available. The wait was short, and the dish arrived quickly. The appearance resembled soup pasta, with a noticeable layer of oil on top. I took a bite and was pleasantly surprised by the gentle, mellow flavor, with a subtle tomato taste and a delightful aroma of shrimp broth. The soup was thick and creamy at the bottom, while clear and light at the top, allowing me to enjoy two layers of flavors. The chili noodles were delicious, blending well with the soup. I finished it quickly, thoroughly satisfied. As I paid and left, I noticed the frozen herbal curry, so I bought a set of three. For dinner at home, I tried one, and the spicy flavors were superb, with a rich taste despite being waterless curry. I ended up eating two in a row. Now, I'm debating whether to go back for the second most popular white sesame tomato tantan noodles or the third most popular salsa tomato. Overall, it was a delightful experience. Thank you for the delicious meal.

I was curious about the word "rich flavor noodles," so I went for lunch. The interior of the restaurant was bright and clean, with a cafe-like atmosphere. The very friendly female owner recommended the most popular dish, the Ebi Jarashi. I ordered the Ebi Jarashi (980 yen) with spicy noodles instead (+100 yen) and added cheese on rice (+120 yen). The rich herbal soup made with three tomatoes was amazing, with a fantastic flavor of shrimp and tomato cream. The spicy noodles had a nice texture and paired well with the soup, making it incredibly delicious! To finish, the rich risotto with cheese on rice was a perfect combination, creating an exquisite harmony. I was very satisfied with the rich flavor noodles. Thank you for the meal.

Sesame tomato tantan noodles, 930 yen. It's sweet with little spiciness. And it's hot. It's delicious, but it may be far from the typical tantan noodles taste. With tomato as the main ingredient, it might be expected. It's made without using artificial seasonings and includes many Hokkaido ingredients, so it's best to consider it as a healthy tomato dish.

Visited Fukunoki, a restaurant located at 1004-1 Minami 4-jo Nishi 10-chome, Chuo-ku, Sapporo, Hokkaido on October 8, 2019. It had been a while since my last visit. The menu has changed and now includes options like Tomato Noodles for 780 yen, Meat Miso Noodles for 870 yen, Salsa Tomato Noodles for 870 yen, Veggie Tomato Noodles for 910 yen, Curry Tomato Noodles for 930 yen, White Sesame Tomato Noodles for 930 yen, Ebi Jarashi (Shrimp) for 980 yen, and Meat Lover's Tomato Noodles for 1,300 yen. I decided to try the Ebi Jarashi for 980 yen. The creamy soup had a rich shrimp flavor, with a whole shrimp sitting in the bowl. The flat noodles carried the soup well, creating a deep and flavorful experience. Despite being rich, the soup was refreshing as it was made without any artificial seasonings. The tomato flavor was also prominent, making it enjoyable even for those who are not fond of tomatoes. I thoroughly enjoyed the meal. Thank you for the delicious food.
