This shop is located in Higashi Ward, Sapporo City. It is a chain store that mainly operates in the central region of Hokkaido. It is an old gyoza specialty shop that is well known to people living in Sapporo. Recently, there has been a surge of gyoza shops expanding nationwide. I hope Miyoshi's shop will continue to do well. Jumbo Set Meal: Compared to the past, the size of the gyoza has become smaller. The filling of the gyoza has a higher ratio of meat. Perhaps that's why it goes well with curry. This time, I didn't order it, but the cabbage pickles are all-you-can-eat. Personally, I like to eat cabbage pickles and gyoza together. The crispy texture of the cabbage and the meat gyoza combination is excellent.

It's been 10 years? No, maybe even longer... Miyo's is a place that is cheap and delicious♡ I always rely on it at the supermarket haha. It's cheap, fast, and tasty! I had the gyoza curry with cheese topping. It was delicious. If I have the chance, I would like to go again. Thank you for the meal!

- Pork miso soup set meal 720 yen (tax included) Pork miso soup, 6 pieces of Miyoshi dumplings, rice, and pickles. You can have unlimited refills of pickles. The miso soup is on the sweeter side and contains pork, daikon, carrots, and other traditional ingredients. One whole boiled egg is also included. The staff seemed unusually low-energy and lacking enthusiasm.

2023/1 Revisit January 2023. My daughter has returned home, but we haven't been able to go out for ramen yet. She doesn't like eating out and often says she wants to eat "Dad's fried rice," which makes me happy, but on holidays, she wants to go "food hunting" on Tabelog. When I ask her, "How about Miyoshi?" she replies, "I might eat at Miyoshi." It's truly a Sapporo kid's soul food. She's a frugal daughter. "Miyoshi Set" 660 yen The whole family ordered the "Miyoshi Set." We're a frugal family. However, Miyoshi has gotten more expensive. The set used to be 560 yen two years ago and 510 yen four years ago. (I was surprised when I looked at past reviews.) I also noticed that the curry is less spicy now. Everyone in the family now chooses the spicy option. Sometimes, I crave Miyoshi's soft and chewy gyoza. When my daughter comes home, we usually go to Miyoshi right after New Year's. It's our annual tradition. With prices rising, I worry that Miyoshi's uniqueness might disappear if they raise prices even more.

There's no need for a late evaluation. It's the soul food of Sapporo locals. Fast, cheap, and delicious! The gyoza is delicious! The curry is delicious! And the shin-tsukemono is delicious!!! It's often compared to "Gyoza no Ohsho" in Minami, but they are completely different genres. Ohsho is a popular Chinese restaurant that focuses on gyoza. Miyoshi is a fast food restaurant specializing in gyoza and curry. There is no competition between them!

Sometimes I crave Miyoshi's gyoza. I started with 2 servings of the new pickled gyoza and 2 sauce dishes. The hot gyoza is delicious with a combination of pepper and vinegar, and chili oil and sauce alternately. I also love cheap curry. Oh, I just realized that I can use PayPay at Shinshu-an but not at the main branch. I wonder why that is?

Today's lunch was at "Miyoshi no Kanjo Kosei-ten"! I've been coming here for a long time, so I felt like I should post on Tabelog, but this is actually my first post (lol). This place has a traditional counter-only setup, which I really like. I prefer the older store layouts of Miyoshi no, rather than the newer ones. I ordered the Miyoshi no set for 660 yen, which includes gyoza and curry. I asked for the curry to be spicy. It's a classic menu item at Miyoshi no! It was ready in less than 10 minutes. The gyoza had a crispy bottom but was soft overall, which is characteristic of Miyoshi no's gyoza. The curry was a mildly spicy, home-style curry, nothing fancy but I like this kind of curry. Another delicious meal at Miyoshi no! Oh, I've been curious about their ramen for a few years now, so I might try it next time. I'll be back again soon!

1-2 Higashi 9-jo, Kita 14-jo, Higashi-ku, Sapporo, Hokkaido. Located along the circular street in Higashi-ku, Sapporo, is Miyoshi-no. There is a parking lot on the left side of the store. Upon entering the entrance, there is alcohol disinfection at the main entrance. The store is spacious, with the kitchen space at the back. There are two aisles extending from there, with counter seats arranged. It's lunchtime on a weekday. The place is one-third full. Customers continue to arrive, and by 12:30, it's fully packed. The limited-time dishes like Hokki Curry and Hokki Salt Ramen look incredibly delicious and intriguing. However, I always go for the Miyoshi-no Set. I've never ordered anything else (laughs). The Miyoshi-no Set has increased to 660 yen, which is unfortunate, but with the recent news of price hikes, it's understandable. I chose the spicy curry and asked the staff for some extra spicy powder to sprinkle on top. With the Fukujinzuke on the table, the curry is ready. The spicy powder really enhances the flavor, adding a nice kick. The gyoza is freshly grilled and juicy. I first enjoy it with vinegar and pepper, then with sauce and chili oil. The thin skin and moist filling make it easy to eat without being dry. I almost wanted to order another serving but resisted. The combination of this curry and gyoza is like the soul food of Sapporo. The fresh cabbage pickles at this store are incredibly delicious. The perfect amount of salt and well-pickled cabbage make it a delight to eat. I wanted to have seconds, but the place was getting crowded, and they needed the space, so I held back. Next time, I want to try the ramen set and mapo tofu set!!

I stopped by for dinner after work at Miyoshi Kanko Hoshi Store in Sapporo, located about 240m from Higashi-Kuyakusho-Mae Station on the Sapporo Municipal Subway Toho Line, along Kanko-dori. They have a dedicated parking lot available. The seating is at the counter, where you order after sitting down and pay after finishing your meal. This time, I ordered the "Large Gyoza Set Meal (770 yen)." I'm happy because you can eat a lot of gyoza.

Today is the first day of my two-day weekend~♪ Summer seems to be taking its time to arrive in Sapporo, doesn't it~? The weather forecast did mention that this summer will be scorching hot?? We don't even use a fan at home! So for lunch, I had a salt ramen set~♪ Lately, there's a commercial playing on the car radio at FM 80.4 for "Miyoshino~ Miyoshino~♪" It's quite an unimpressive commercial~! It's also on TV~♪ My wife said, "Isn't this commercial a bit dark?" I replied, "It's the soul food of Sapporo folks." She's from Niigata, so she just said, "Hmm." So, I decided to go to "Miyoshino" alone (laughs). The Miyoshino locations near my home, Higashikanrai or Kanjokosei, are about the same distance away? The ramen menu is available only at the Kanjokosei location, but it's only available from 11 a.m.~♪ Everyone, please take note. Upon arrival, it was a bit difficult to find parking? There was only one car parked in front of the store~♪ Upon entering, this store has a pay-after system, so I looked at the menu and oh~ I'm curious about the Hotzuki Curry! I'll try it next time. I ordered the salt ramen set for 930 yen including tax~♪ It might be a bit pricey for Miyoshino! Visuals: Salt ramen with thin slices of chashu, 2 pieces, lots of menma, and chopped green onions. The ramen comes with shrimp-flavored oil! What's this?~♪ The gyoza comes with 6 pieces, and there's a bit of new pickles, just a little bit! After eating: The ramen soup has more depth than last time~♪ The noodles seem to be improved, no instant noodle feel, which is good! The gyoza, though, has a little less filling!! Was it always like this?~(laughs) Adding the shrimp-flavored oil for a different taste? It might be cool~♪ PS: The customer after me ordered, "Hotzuki with salt ramen!" I checked the menu twice~? The Hotzuki menu only has curry!! But ordering the Hotzuki curry with a side of salt ramen is possible! I recommend it to everyone~♪ Keep it up, "Miyoshino"! The soba shop may not be great, but~?

I wanted to eat Miyoshino Gyoza for the first time in a while, so I went there. I also wanted to eat curry, so I thought about getting the Miyoshi set, but since I was quite hungry, I ordered the large serving set. It was delicious as usual. The pickles were a bit strong.

Dinner time was busy and lively inside the restaurant, with takeout also being very popular. I ordered the Miyoshi set for 560 yen. The curry arrived in less than 5 minutes after ordering, which was impressive. The gyoza was hot and consistently delicious. The curry had plenty of minced meat, which I liked. Personally, I felt that the rice was a bit mushy. Overall, it was good value for money. Thank you for the meal.

In January 2021, my daughter who had returned home for a visit is now staying with us, and we are all "hikikomori" together. This year, we decided to cancel our usual tradition of going to the shrine for New Year's Eve after the Kohaku music show. Normally, our family and our dog would go to the shrine near our house. When I asked what they wanted to eat, my daughter, as always, said she wanted "Miyoshi's." It's a soul food for people from Hokkaido that we eat twice a year. The "Miyoshi Set" costs 560 yen. Last year, when we ate it at a shop in Ebetsu, the price had already gone up. The curry was not as spicy as we had hoped, so we decided to try it at our usual spot. Even though we all ordered the "spicy" version, it wasn't spicy at all, not even for my daughter and husband who usually prefer "mild" flavors. It seems like they have reduced the spiciness in all their stores. Next time, we will definitely need to add some "spicy powder." When we get tired of New Year's dishes, we always turn to "Miyoshi's curry." It's a dish we want to eat twice a year from now on.

I went to a soba restaurant that opened further into the suburbs of Sapporo, beyond the circular line. However, there was someone who pretended to have been there and left a fake review. Right behind Totoro, there was a big shot. If I don't go to Totoro, it will interfere with the big shot's first review. I wish they would understand that. Anyway, the soba there was like a children's portion, so I ended up getting the Jumbo Set (12 gyoza) for 850 yen. It was worth it! The volume, taste, and cost performance were all good. Even ramen, taste aside, is cheap. So why did they make the soba like that?

This shop is located along the Circular Route, between the Subway Tozai Line's Kanjo-dori Higashi Station and Higashi Ward Office Station. I occasionally pass by in front of it by bus, but lately I've been mostly using the shop near the Subway Sapporo Station, so I've never been here before and was curious. I saw the shop's name in a Sapporo city crowdfunding campaign, so I thought it was a good opportunity to visit and applied for one share. I tried the limited-time "Simmered Hamburg Steak Set" (840 yen). It comes with miso soup, pickles, and 6 dumplings. I couldn't finish all the dumplings, so I took half of them home. I also added a coleslaw salad and almond jelly set (+140 yen). To reach the 1300 yen for crowdfunding, I also ordered a "Kids Shrimp Fry Curry Bento" (450 yen) to take home, which came with a snack (Bisco and mini pudding). Honestly, the taste wasn't incredibly delicious, but it was a familiar taste that's nice to have occasionally. I've never tried the "Miyoshi Set" before, maybe I'll try it next time. Oh, they're offering Hokkaido surf clam curry now. Probably another limited-time offer. I love the surf clam curry in Tomakomai, so I'd like to try it. I'll visit again. Thank you for the meal.

Today is the second day of my three-day weekend! Today, I completed the application form for my mother's (actual mother) facility admission while she is in a rehabilitation hospital. It's quite an event! I ended up making a lot of copies at the nearby Seven-Eleven, but forgot my Nanaco card on the copier! I realized it two hours later and rushed back to the store. Luckily, the staff found my card and returned it to me. I even made 8,000 yen profit! My Nanaco card has a One Piece design on it. Lunch was at a popular local spot featured on the TV show "Kyou Doki" - "Miyoshino" curry and gyoza. The host said the ham cutlet curry was the best, so I decided to try it. The place was packed, but I managed to find a parking spot and went in. I ordered the ham cutlet curry and salt ramen. The salt ramen was a limited-time menu item made with salt from the Sea of Okhotsk that flows into Lake Saroma. The curry was delicious, with a choice of mild or spicy, and the beef chunks were plentiful. The gyoza I had were from the night before, chilled Miyoshino gyoza. Overall, the food was great and I enjoyed my meal.

Since the declaration of the state of emergency in May 2020, I have been avoiding eating out at 12-1pm and choosing other times for dining. On this day, I arrived at the parking lot at 11:20 and was intrigued by the salt ramen on the separate menu. I didn't want to make a mistake, so I decided to get it as a set with an insurance - adding curry roux. It took about 5 minutes for the food to come out, and I was overwhelmed by the aroma of gyoza and curry. The ramen insurance was definitely a good choice as the soup was not very reliable. The chashu was so disappointing that I gave up after one bite. The gyoza had the usual crispy skin and was delicious. I poured the curry roux over the rice and ate it with the gyoza. This is it, gyoza curry. I quickly finished my meal and by 11:40, it was all done. Thank you for the meal.

I have been friends with Miyoshi-san since I moved to Sapporo. During lunchtime, I saw Miyoshi-san's sign while driving. The restaurant is not very crowded because the turnover is fast. The service is quick, from ordering to serving. This time, I had the Miyoshi set, which includes curry rice and a serving of gyoza. It costs 510 yen, almost like a one-coin meal. The curry and gyoza tasted the same as always. Is the curry still the same taste as decades ago? I wonder. They also have ramen on the menu, which I haven't tried yet, so maybe I'll go for the ramen set next time.

I revisited "Miyoshi Curry" in June 2019 and once again, I had a strong craving for it. Having spent 7 years in Obihiro, Tokachi, I have eaten a lot of "Indian Curry," but for Sapporo residents, "Miyoshi Curry" holds a similar position in their hearts. A serving of curry alone costs 330 yen, and while it may be just stand curry, it has definitely evolved over the years. They offer options like "sweet," "spicy," and even "spicy powder." I personally like to add a spoonful of garlic to the spicy curry for an extra kick. Of course, it's quite obvious afterwards that I've eaten at "Miyoshi Curry." But that one spoonful of garlic really enhances the flavor. The perfect accompaniment to curry is, without a doubt, "Miyoshi Gyoza." I've said it before, but don't expect regular dumplings from "Miyoshi Gyoza." It's a different kind of food altogether. They also offer dishes like mapo tofu and ramen, but in my personal opinion, they might not be as good. It seems like they should stick to curry and gyoza.

Everyone knows Miyoshi, right? I can't even count how many times I've been there (lol). However, my debut at Miyoshi was late. It was after I met my husband. My husband, who is a Miyoshi lover, judges whether a place is better or worse than Miyoshi based on the taste of the gyoza. Recently, they have also added ramen and other menu items, but I think curry and gyoza are the best here. I usually order the Miyoshi set (mild) and add an egg. I enjoy changing the flavor by crushing the yolk and dipping it in the gyoza or pouring it over the curry. However, curry and gyoza are both high in carbohydrates, so I avoided going there after becoming pregnant. I thought I could handle just the gyoza, so I went there. I had 9 gyoza, an egg, and coleslaw. I also took a bite of my husband's curry. It's still delicious. You can also get takeout, but eating in the restaurant makes it taste even better. Thank you for the meal.
