I had a late lunch at Burger King in Otaru while working in the area. It's been about 2 years since I last visited, but their double cheeseburger set was delicious as always. The 100% beef patty cooked over direct flame was really tasty. I'll definitely be back again. Thank you for the meal!

I visited for breakfast. I had some free time, so I came here. This time, I ordered the "Whopper Cheese Jr. Set". I came to Otaru for a trip. There is no Burger King in my hometown, so I chose to have lunch here two days in a row. The burgers were light and delicious, and I was impressed. I didn't think it was this delicious when I ate here a few years ago. I wonder when I'll be able to eat it again. I want to come back to eat it again.

I went to a seafood market with my husband, but he said, "Denny's offers all-you-can-eat for 2000 yen, so everywhere else seems expensive," so we ended up going around and going to Burger King at Otaru Station. It's been a while since I've seen one since Tokyo? Coming all the way to Otaru for Burger King... (laughs) My family isn't really into seafood, so... But it was cheap, delicious, and really good. If you're in Sapporo, there was a Burger King in Shiroishi Ward, right? ★Quattro Cheese Whopper Jr Set 650 yen! ★BBQ Whopper Jr Set 600 yen ★Teriyaki Lettuce Set 550 yen ★Whopper Cheese Jr Set 600 yen ★Hash Brown 100 yen With a drink and fries included, these prices are cheaper than McDonald's, right? And it was much more delicious than I expected~! I was a little worried because it had a lot of raw onions (I don't like raw onions), but wow! There was no strong onion smell, so I could eat it deliciously. The patty cooked over direct flame had a smoky flavor and was delicious~! You can really feel the charcoal aroma. It has a great meaty texture for this price. The Whopper Jr was a relatively normal size, so I could eat it easily. The fries were thicker than McDonald's, but thinner than Mos Burger. They had a strong potato flavor. Until the 31st, they had a "2 for 500 yen" fair! (Only 3 types though) If it's nearby, I'd like to visit again~ It was delicious! Thank you for the meal!

Burger King inside Otaru Station. I got a Whopper Junior for half price starting at 2 pm for takeout. I arrived just after 2 pm and had to wait in line for a bit. They accepted various electronic payments. The Whopper was delicious as always. They also had seats where you could charge your phone.

The Burger King chain, headquartered in Florida, USA, used to be operated by Seibu and Lotte in the past. The Otaru Station store, the first in Hokkaido, now has two stores in the region. Located in the area selling souvenirs on the opposite side of the green window at Otaru Station, it is tucked away in the coin locker area. I revisited in the morning on February 14, 2021, for breakfast to take out before boarding a local train to Kutchan. When deciding what to buy, I always think I can easily eat 2-3 items, but in reality, one is enough. The bread was not quite baked well today, and I have never been a fan of the patty, which is just my personal preference. It has become a pattern for me to have breakfast here before heading to Kutchan, Niseko, and Rankoshi. So, despite my complaints, I will definitely come back again.

[Visit on December 6, 2020, around 9 am] During a transfer at Otaru Station on the way to Kutchan, I stopped by for a quick breakfast. Luckily, they had a special promotion for the Whopper Jr., so I ordered about three of them, but it turned out the promotion didn't start until 10 or 11 am, so I had to settle for just one Whopper Jr. and five nuggets, which I ate inside the store. Nowadays, there are no trash cans in the train cars, so eating inside can be a hassle later on. The wait was only a few minutes until my order was ready. The clientele inside the store consisted of families, students, and couples, typical for a fast-food restaurant. There was also an elderly man who I see here often, always just having coffee. The buns lacked the usual crispiness, and the patty, which I've never been a fan of since childhood, was ordered out of hunger but one burger was enough. The nuggets were more than enough, with 2-3 being sufficient. Overall, my hunger was satisfied for now.

I've been going to university for 3 years now, but I've only used it about 3 times? It always seems to pass by quickly haha. I always go to the restroom next to it though haha. I used an app coupon to order a Spicy Whopper (M) set for 520 yen with extra everything. Warning: You can add options like extra vegetables or extra sauce to just the Whopper burger for free. This set is great because you can eat a burger, drink, and fries for this price, it's cheap and has a good amount of food. I haven't had a Whopper in a while, but it's so big that I got full with just one. It might be good to eat junk food like this occasionally!

Otaru day trip tour for one personヽ(´▽｀)/ I originally planned to go to Sapporo, but changed my mind last minute and decided to go to Otaru instead and took the JR train❗️I only have 7 hours, so if I walk around Otaru like usual, I'll have to turn back midway(≧∀≦) So, I arrived at Otaru Station! I wanted to eat something, but only Mister Donut and Burger King were open. I couldn't decide which one to choose, but I decided to go to Burger King for my first stop! Quite a few customers were already there early in the morning^ ^A Set Hot Dog Combo 290 yen It's been a while since I've been to Burger King, but the Hot Dog Combo didn't feel like Burger King^ ^ I made the wrong choice^ ^ The bun was soft, the sausage was juicy❗️With ketchup sauce and onions, it was even juicier‼️I ate while sipping coffee leisurely, and searched for other open stores. The coffee was hot and just right for the morning! It was a good start, taking a break with power outlets and Wi-Fi for this price. It was a nice way to start the day^_^ ===========

There were too many options to choose from, so I used a LINE coupon for a good deal. Plus, I love shrimp. I was curious about the spicy nuggets, but I decided not to get them since I didn't know how big the Whopper would be. I received a buzzer and waited. The store was set up for social distancing, with only about 30% capacity. When the Whopper was ready, it was huge! I forgot to check if I could add extra vegetables. The meat was slightly less juicy, with a nice smoky flavor from grilling. The sauce was spicy and tasty. The combination of tomato juice and mayonnaise was great. The shrimp was surprisingly delicious, with a light coconut flavor. Overall, it had a big, American-style taste, just like I heard. It was different, but in a good way.

I had a seafood bowl, took a leisurely walk to the canal, planned to buy the famous "panju" and catch a train to Kutchan. However, when I arrived at the panju shop right at opening time, I was scolded by the somewhat strange old man there, saying "Oh, look at the situation here! It will take at least 20 minutes!" (just as my brother had warned me about the eccentric old man haha). So, I ended up getting a half-price sundae using a coupon at a shop inside the station. It was cold and delicious! It really hit the spot on this hot summer day. It only took 30 seconds to get to the ticket gate, so I think it's a perfect shop to visit while waiting for the train. The Birkin shop is really good value for money. I hope they reopen their store in Osaka soon!

First visit in November 2019, second visit in March 2020 to a hamburger shop inside Otaru Station. The shop first opened along Route 12 in Sapporo. Initially, Sapporo had a high-class image. I wasn't particularly into eating hamburgers, so I hadn't visited before. I started using it when commuting to Otaru. Initially, I used it as a substitute for convenience store coffee. The coffee costs 190 yen. It's slightly better than convenience store coffee, with a deep roasted machine coffee taste. It's a coffee break before work. The Teriyaki Lettuce Burger costs 200 yen. I like Mos Burger the best, but this one is on the sweeter side with teriyaki sauce. It's priced accordingly, with no lettuce. The Morning Combo costs 390 yen. It's basically a fish burger. I initially thought it didn't have tartar sauce, but it was on the side. It's been a while since I had a fish burger, and the deep-sea fish patty is not bad. This was my first time trying Burger King in Otaru. It's not as inconvenient as I thought. However, due to the impact of COVID-19 or labor measures, they now open at 9:00 instead of 7:30, so it's a shame that you can't use it for breakfast.

Adjacent to JR Otaru Station, there is a hamburger shop. Since the dining room at the Triangle Market that I was aiming for was unfortunately closed, I decided to have breakfast here instead. I usually try to have a balanced meal for breakfast, but since this is a hamburger shop, I decided to indulge in some junk food (although they do have salads too). I ordered some french fries, chicken nuggets, and a Heineken beer. The nuggets weren't very tasty, but the french fries were delicious. They were similar in thickness to KFC fries, which used to be thicker in the past but have now slimmed down a bit. This thickness is just right for me. If they are too thin like McDonald's fries, they tend to get quite hard after the moisture is gone. And then the Heineken beer, a 350ml can for around 380 yen. Adding it to the set was only an additional 140 yen, which is quite affordable. The smooth taste of Heineken paired well with the morning ambiance. Sometimes it's nice to have a drink in the morning. The delicate flavors of alcohol seem to be better appreciated in the morning. I find myself coming up with excuses even though no one is judging me. Perhaps this sense of indulgence adds to the enjoyment? It's like a conflicting feeling similar to ambivalence. Well, the conclusion is that a morning Heineken is delicious. Bon appétit!

Well, well, it's been a while since I had a Burger King (*´ω`*) I spotted the Chicken Nuggets, 8 pieces for 200 yen including tax, and decided to give them a try ( ´θ｀) Hmm, even though they're probably made in advance and kept warm, I wish they were kept hotter. Well, that's fast food for you... They may be small, but the 8 pieces come with the option of choosing Honey Mustard, but I went with Barbecue Sauce (*´ω`*) The sauce has a nice smoky flavor that goes well with the chicken. Otaru Station. It has been renovated for several years now. There are now more delicious restaurants than before, such as authentic standing sushi, Burger King, which is only found in a few locations in Hokkaido, and a delicious bakery. Among them, I visited Burger King for the first time. I saw on the internet news a few days ago that they were offering it at half price, and thought, "If it's 180 yen, I'll give it a try." I had some business at Otaru Station today, so I went there. I parked my car in the free parking lot in front of the station and entered the store. There seemed to be only one register open, and I wasn't sure where to line up. After looking around, I realized that I should line up from the entrance inside Otaru Station. It was a bit confusing. But with "HERE!" written, I was sure that was the right place to line up. Although only about 10-20% of the seats were occupied, there was no guidance or anything. There were about 4-5 staff members visible, but no one was helping with the line. I ended up waiting for quite a while. Eventually, the person in front of me kindly let me go first, maybe because my frustration was showing on my face, so I thanked the foreign person. I felt a bit pathetic buying a hamburger for 180 yen. I lined up at the register and ordered a Whopper Jr. "Is there anything else you would like to order?" was the standard response. "Just the burger, please." I paid 180 yen and waited by the register. In about 30 seconds, the Whopper Jr. was ready. It was bigger than I expected, which made me happy. I couldn't find any water, though. I don't usually eat hamburgers, so I'm not sure if not providing water is normal. The seating area had two-person tables and single tables, and the smoking area was separate, which was a great point. When I opened the package, I found a small but solid hamburger. For 180 yen, it was decent. I took a bite... and continued eating. The hamburger patty itself was delicious. It wasn't very thick, but being made from 100% beef, it had a strong flavor. However, the amount of buns and lettuce (crispy texture was good) was disappointing, as well as the tasteless tomato. The seasoning like mayonnaise wasn't used much, which was good as it wasn't too heavy. Since it was a Junior size, there must be a Papa size as well. I found out that the regular price for a Papa size is 490 yen. If this cost 360 yen, well, it's just okay. If it had cost 360 yen, it would have been hard to judge. But since it was 180 yen, I thought, "Well, it's fine." As for the service, it was definitely below McDonald's or MOS Burger. I didn't expect a smile for free, but I wanted them to at least do the minimum. Overall, I didn't have a good impression in any aspect.

I conquered two Burger King locations in Hokkaido! I ordered two Cheeseburgers and two Fish Burgers for takeout. They will be my dinner tonight. I think these burgers will still be delicious even after being reheated in the microwave. I hope they open more locations soon. Thank you for the meal!

I had a delicious cheeseburger in Otaru! I've eaten burgers in Kansai before, but the burgers in Hokkaido are exceptional (lol). Maybe it's the atmosphere that makes them taste so good? I enjoyed it very much, and now I'm looking forward to sightseeing!

Located at Otaru Station, this burger shop was chosen for breakfast after finding the desired diner at the Sankaku Market closed (it always seems to be closed whenever I go). Last time, I had breakfast beer at a different market diner, so this time I decided to try something different with a burger. While Burger King has another location in Sapporo Shiroishi, I have not visited there yet. I have been to the Otaru Station shop a few times, but always just had a Heineken, so this was my first time trying their burgers. The Whopper, a large burger, seems to be their specialty. I opted for the smaller Whopper Jr. set. The Whopper Jr. comes with various vegetables. The composition from bottom to top includes the bottom bun, meat patty, pickles, ketchup, onions, tomatoes, lettuce, mayonnaise, and a sesame seed crown. The taste was neither exceptional nor disappointing. The fries were delicious, freshly fried and seasoned with salt, oil, and carbs, making them undeniably tasty. The service from the male staff, who seemed to be in a higher position, was a bit off-putting. Overall, it was a decent meal. Thank you.

It's connected to the station, so it can be a bit crowded, but there are outlets for charging. There is no parking lot, but you can park in the rotary parking for free for up to 30 minutes.
