Tokachi Gardens Hotel in front of Obihiro Station. Stay at a great deal with GOTO & Obihiro discount♪ This time, 4 of us stayed for 300 yen per person per night with breakfast included. Not 3,000 yen, but 300 yen. At first, I thought it was a lie, but it's a true story. GOTO will be temporarily suspended from December 28th to January 11th, so staying at the above price is not possible. It may be possible before that or after January 12th. However, as far as I researched, the plan for 1 night at 300 yen when I stayed was not available. In simple terms, as of December 27th (Sunday), a stay for 2 people in a twin room with breakfast for 1 night is available for 2,100 yen (including tax) (about 1,000 yen per person). You can also use GOTO coupons worth 2,000 yen, so it is still possible to stay for free. The world has become a bit unfair with these tricks. These are the taxes that everyone usually pays. Some people criticize this, but since I pay a lot of taxes usually, I want to take advantage of this opportunity! We stayed for 2 nights as a family trip while following the infection prevention measures set by the government. I will list the detailed amount when I stayed at the bottom. This is a review on Tabelog, and I don't think anyone is interested, but I only use Tabelog for SNS and want to keep it as my own record. First, about Tokachi Gardens Hotel: ◎Location It is located in front of Obihiro Station, directly across the road. ◎Parking fee 600 yen per night. It used to be 550 yen, but it has increased by 50 yen, which is still reasonable as many places in Asahikawa charge 800 to 1,000 yen. I stayed for 2 nights, so it was 1,200 yen. You can park in the open-air parking lot next to the hotel with free access (you need to inform the staff of your car model and number at check-in). ◎Hot Springs Mall Onsen. One indoor bath, one cold bath, one sauna (recently available for loofah). ◎Breakfast Choose between Japanese or Western breakfast at check-in. If you have a room-only plan, you can add it for 1,310 yen. This review will focus on the breakfast. ◎Ice There is an ice maker in front of the bath on the 3rd floor. ◎Restaurant It is located on the 2nd floor. The breakfast venue and dinner restaurant are the same. You can also get takeout menus at night and enjoy them in your room. You can also use GOTO Regional Coupons (both paper and electronic). ★Review★ I chose Japanese breakfast for both nights, so it was delicious. I will write a review of the second night. Breakfast is from 7:00 am, so when I arrived at exactly 7:00 am, there was already a line. Is this a lie!? And there were people already eating in the breakfast venue! When did this start? We waited in our room until the designated time feeling like fools for waiting 10 minutes. During that time, it was crowded, really crowded! It felt like someone's going to get angry, like a certain governor. Everyone wore masks and waited quietly. Some people just got coffee and handed their breakfast tickets to the staff, entered the venue, made coffee, and went to the elevator... Seeing that, I wondered if this system was okay. I suggested to the hotel that they should determine the breakfast time at check-in, but will it change? By the way, when I stayed the first night, I arrived at the same time, but I was able to enter smoothly, so maybe the second night was busier. Inside, surprisingly, it was not crowded. I understand the entrance restrictions, but I don't understand why they make over a dozen people wait in the narrow space in front of the elevator. It seems more crowded that way. Certainly, when eating, you take off your mask, so the risk... but thinking about that would make me tired from the morning, so I decided to enjoy the delicious breakfast. I didn't like the grilled fish and sashimi the previous day, so the grilled salmon on the second night was a hit. The sashimi was squid, also a hit. I'm so happy. Even with consecutive nights, the style is the same, with some of the same menu items here and there. It's a half-buffet style, with a main tray +α. This +α part is quite appreciated. First, the main tray. The soft-boiled egg seems to be standard equipment. The grilled fish was red salmon that day. It was a bit salty, but the taste that goes well with rice. I'm so happy that it's red salmon, not autumn salmon! The vinegared dish also has an elegance. It's crab for breakfast, crab = crab.
