It looks like cold udon with a beautiful arrangement of noodles. The broth, a blend of bonito flakes and dried sardines, combined with a sweet soy sauce flavor, created a unique taste more reminiscent of udon than ramen. The broth had a distinct Japanese flavor with the essence of bonito and soy sauce. The medium-thick noodles had a chewy texture and were very satisfying. I visited a ramen shop that only operates in the morning. I ordered the seafood ramen with salt (since I plan to have soy sauce ramen at the next shop). I also added a soft-boiled egg. The noodles were medium straight type, and the seafood soup with chicken oil had a gentle yet rich flavor with a punch of salt sauce. The hint of yuzu was a nice touch for a refreshing wake-up in the morning. The pork shoulder loin was tender and juicy, and the other toppings were also delicious. Oh, they also had a summer limited TKM egg over rice noodle dish.

Ramen Shuki in Higashi Sumiyoshi Ward, Osaka City. We visited this restaurant located a 2-minute walk east from Tsuruhashi Station on the JR Loop Line, Kintetsu Osaka Line, Nara Line, and Osaka Metro Sen-Nichimae Line. We arrived around 11:30 and the place was almost full, with a line forming quickly. The clean interior has 14 seats, a combination of counter and table seats. I ordered the Soy Sauce Tsukemen (regular) for 1100 yen. It arrived in about 10 minutes. The dipping sauce was rich with a slightly sour dashi flavor. The toppings included three types of chashu (pork slices), two types of green onions, and menma (bamboo shoots), offering a satisfying amount of ingredients. The noodles were beautifully presented, with a smooth and chewy texture that paired well with the soy sauce broth. The dish was so delicious that I finished it in no time. The service was excellent as always, and I highly recommend this popular restaurant to everyone. They also serve morning ramen, so it's a great spot for early risers. They are currently offering a limited-time cold noodle dish until September, which I heard is also incredibly tasty. I look forward to visiting again soon. Thank you for the meal. - Ramen Shuki - Hours: 7:00-9:40 (L.O.), 11:00-14:40 (L.O.), 18:00-21:00 (L.O.) - Closed: No scheduled holidays - Address: 3-14-10 Higashi Kobashi, Higashi Sumiyoshi Ward, Osaka City, Osaka

I love the cold noodles at Shuki-san, especially with the special toppings of beef shigure and grated yam. The noodles are soft yet chewy, with just the right amount of oily broth. Adding the beef shigure and grated yam gives it a Japanese twist. The noodles are just so delicious. As a bonus, the kimchi served as a palate cleanser is authentically spicy, sweet, and savory - a perfect match.

First visit. Around 12:50 PM. Checked out this place. Remembered it on the way to Nara, so got off the train. Waited for 8 people. Got my bowl at 1:40 PM. Might be able to sit without waiting around 1:50 PM. Got the soy sauce dipping noodles for 1100 yen. The dipping sauce had a refined saltiness that I liked. Thank you for the meal. The Baki exhibition was also good.

Tsukemen + white rice On a weekday Friday in September 2023, I arrived at the restaurant at 11:10 AM, just after it opened at 11 AM. Usually, there is a long line, but this time there were only 2 people inside. I ordered the tsukemen. As indicated, it arrived in about 15 minutes. The color and presentation of the noodles were great. The dipping sauce seemed a bit strong to me, but the younger male customers and couples seemed very satisfied. I usually enjoy mixing the soup with rice, and it was delicious.

The popular restaurant lived up to its reputation. I managed to slip in just before the lunch rush at 11:30 on a weekday. I had an early lunch in between meetings. Since the lingering summer heat was still intense, I tried their limited-time chilled ramen "Shukirashiku". The noodles were smooth with a gummy texture, the slightly sweet sauce had a hint of broth, the char siu was lightly warm, the soft-boiled egg didn't dissolve in the soup, there was grated wasabi on the side, and they even offered complimentary kimchi. I was completely satisfied with the regular portion, it filled me up nicely. Thank you for the delicious meal.

Visited for the third time! I loved the cold noodles I had in June so much that I had to come back already! Located near Tsuruhashi Station, known for its Koreatown. Despite being known for yakiniku, there are also several delicious ramen shops in the area. I tried the limited-time cold noodles "Shukirashiku" with special toppings (beef flakes and grated yam). The noodles are firm and chewy (boiled for 20 minutes) with a flavorful soup. Just like last time, the noodles were delicious and I was impressed by the straightforwardness of the menu. I will definitely come back to try their tsukemen!

Today I was in a good mood so I decided to try out this place for the first time. I chose the special salt chicken white broth ramen! Normally there's a long line here but it was empty due to heavy rain, lucky me! But it quickly filled up and got busy. The ramen arrived with a lot of foam on top, giving off a classic white broth vibe. The flavor was rich and I really liked it. The two types of chashu were substantial, just the way I like it - almost falling off the chopsticks. The homemade noodles were the perfect thickness, firmness, and shape. It was a perfect match. I'll definitely come back on a rainy day when it's less crowded.

Second visit. I don't usually go to the same place twice, but the cold noodles at "Shukirashiku" looked so delicious. Around 1:30 pm on Sunday, there were about 2 groups waiting. The service by the staff was still excellent. And the taste of "Shukirashiku" was also excellent. I usually don't like cold noodle dishes, but this was different and incredibly delicious! The meat was thick and satisfying to eat. I want to go to this restaurant again and again if I'm nearby.

I arrived a little early, so there were about 4 groups waiting at that time. The turnover was fast, so I didn't have to wait long to get seated. I ordered the limited-time cold noodles "Shukirashiku" ✨ The beautiful noodles and thick slices of chashu stimulate the appetite ♬ The cold soup has a refined taste of bonito flakes and kelp ✨ The noodles are smooth and have a firm texture, so they are quite filling. Around halfway through, I added the complimentary kimchi for a change in flavor. It was even more satisfying ♬ It's the best to eat on a hot summer day ☀️ Thank you for the meal~♬

[Situation] Solo date in the ramen and yakiniku town of Tsuruhashi, which is surprisingly a fierce ramen battleground. Among the garlic and super spicy ramen shops, this place has a modern store front and handsome staff welcoming you. The specialty here is the chicken white broth ramen, which has become a classic. I tried the soy sauce flavor on this day. It may depend on personal taste, but the saltiness is on the stronger side. The rich soy sauce flavor is well balanced, enhanced by the chicken umami in the soup. The homemade noodles are thin and have a nice texture. It's a popular spot and there was a line on this day as well. I'll definitely come back! Thank you for the meal! 🍜

It's lunchtime! I went to Tsukahashi to eat tsukemen. I was tempted by the limited cold noodles, but since it was my first time at this restaurant, I decided to go with the recommended menu item, the tsukemen with extra noodles and deluxe toppings (4 slices of chashu and seasoned egg). It was delicious, but I was a bit disappointed that the noodles were not firm enough for a tsukemen dish. It lacked that tension! Last month, I had the perfect tsukemen at Seiryu, so maybe I'm being too critical in comparison. But overall, it was not bad, so I'll give it a rating of 3.7. I didn't see the kind owner who often appears in Instagram photos with his daughter, but the staff said he rarely comes to the restaurant now. No wonder the noodles weren't firm enough! Anyway, the taste was decent, hence the 3.7 rating.

I tried the limited-time cold noodles with special toppings at a restaurant, along with a bottle of beer. The kimchi they served was delicious, especially paired with the beer. The cold noodles had a refreshing fish-based broth and chewy noodles. The thick and tender chashu was a great addition, especially when topped with the meat and grated yam. It was a fantastic meal overall!

Tanrei Ramen (Soy Sauce) (Chicken + Seafood) 900 yen ★★★★ The soup is a seafood soy sauce flavor based on chicken broth. The noodles are medium straight noodles. The toppings include pork loin and pork belly chashu, green onions, chopped white onions, charred onions, menma, and seaweed. The soup combines chicken broth with three types of dried fish and kombu dashi, adding richness with a bit more chicken oil, and using the smoky flavor of charred onions and refreshing yuzu flavor as accents. The rounded seasoning with a hint of soy sauce adds depth and complexity to the chicken umami and seafood broth. The noodles are homemade using a blend of wheat flour called Setokirara, offering a supple texture with a glossy surface and a rich wheat flavor. The thick and tender chashu slices are delicious, allowing you to savor the meat umami. Black pepper is provided for flavor variation. Unlimited kimchi from Shariji Temple is included. Hiyakake Ramen for 1000 yen. The soup has a light flavor with a hint of sweetness and a strong umami taste, complemented by a sharp salty taste and a subtle acidity. The noodles are thin, moist, smooth, and have a good chewy texture with a strong elasticity that enhances the flavor and aroma. The fish flavor and taste permeate the refreshing soup, and the homemade noodles perfectly balance the dish, providing a satisfying cold ramen experience.

10 minutes before the opening, there was no line, but 5 minutes before the opening, a line formed with customers eagerly waiting. The menu offers rich chicken broth ramen and light soy sauce ramen, as well as tsukemen and rice dishes as side menu options. They also have two limited-time menu items, "Shukirashiku" cold noodles and "Hiyakake" which will soon be discontinued. On this day, I tried the "Shukirashiku" cold noodles with special toppings of beef shigure and grated yam. I ordered the large portion, and it came with thick slices of chashu, chopped green onions, a soft-boiled egg, and wasabi. The noodles were thick and chewy, with a nice texture. The thickly sliced chashu provided a satisfying bite. Adding the beef shigure and grated yam halfway through enhanced the dish with a lighter flavor. After finishing the meal and leaving the restaurant, I saw several groups of customers lining up outside, showing the popularity of this bustling ramen shop among ramen enthusiasts. I enjoyed the limited summer menu and the lively atmosphere of the restaurant.

I heard that the cold noodle season is ending soon, so I tried Shuki-san's cold ramen. It's called "Shukirashiku"! While I enjoy cold noodles with dipping sauce, this cold ramen (not the sour type you find at Chinese restaurants) really brought out the best of ramen. Sometimes cold noodles can be too heavy or have a confusing taste, but this ramen had a well-balanced soy sauce broth, delicious chashu, onsen egg, and was easy to adjust the flavors. It was very easy to eat and enjoyable. It seems to be a limited-time offer, so be sure to try it! It was delicious! Thank you for the meal.

Shuki is a ramen shop located in Tsuruhashi. They currently offer morning, lunch, and dinner service, with the option to enjoy ramen in the morning. The morning hours are from 7:00 to 9:40 (last order). The shop is clean and the owner and staff provide friendly service. The morning menu includes three types of ramen: seafood ramen, light ramen, and chicken white broth ramen. I chose the light ramen for 900 yen! It arrived in about 6 minutes. The dish consisted of two thick slices of chashu, green onions, seaweed, and bamboo shoots in a simple presentation. First, I slurped the soup... The soup had a light taste with a base of chicken broth, a hint of seafood, and a slightly charred green onion flavor as an accent. It was a light and refreshing soup. Next, I slurped the noodles... The noodles were medium-thin and had a nice chewy texture. They paired well with the gentle soup. This ramen was perfect for a morning meal. Thank you for the delicious meal.

I arrived around 11:30 AM when the restaurant opened at 11 AM and was able to eat without waiting in line. After that, everyone started lining up. I ordered the "shukirashiku" (large portion) and had to wait 10 minutes for it to be cooked. The chashu was thick, but easy to eat because it was rich. The noodles were smooth and had a good texture. The condiment was wasabi, so it felt like udon? Or was it udon? Some people might be confused. The staff was energetic, and I would like to visit this restaurant again!

I was able to go from 7 am. I ordered Chicken Paitan Ramen (Soy Sauce) for 1000 yen and a medium rice for 100 yen. The Chicken Paitan Ramen had finely chopped ginger in it and looked rich, but the soup was surprisingly light and the noodles were soft and chewy, which was delicious. Thank you for the meal ♡
