This is delicious. A limited-time Thai curry. After working on the maintenance of the borrowed land... Since it's the equinoctial week next week, I cleaned and weeded the grave at their house... Where should I go next? I ended up at Coco Ichibanya. They have a special curry, so I ordered it without hesitation. This is delicious. The regular curry at Coco Ichibanya is also delicious, but this limited-time one was extremely tasty. I wonder if they still have it if I go again? (laughs)

I was feeling hungry and wanted to eat something light and crispy, so I went there. It was around 7 pm and it wasn't too crowded, so I was able to get in easily. I ordered the reliable pork shabu curry. I ordered everything in the regular size. It was delicious as always. The prices were cheap too, so it was good.

Curry rice used to be something that people would eat while complaining to their mothers, "Curry again today?!" But finding a place where you can easily eat curry rice nowadays is quite difficult. High-end and sophisticated curry rice places tend to be expensive, and soup curry has become more popular. That's why I came to this specialty store, a big chain with a spacious parking lot, which is convenient for drivers. Even in heavy snow, being able to park your car and enjoy lunch is wonderful. Inside the restaurant, the smell of curry fills the air, and there are counter seats and booth seats with partitions for infection control, creating a bright and clean atmosphere that feels safe no matter where you sit. Looking at the menu, there are so many options to choose from that it's hard to decide. After much contemplation, I ordered the "Shrimp and Clam Curry (780 yen, tax included)" with a side of "Half Vegetables (125 yen, tax included)." The curry arrived, and I always pay attention to the boundary between the curry roux and the rice. For me, the curry rice experience is incomplete if the roux is not visible through the rice, as it should be. I dislike curry rice where the roux and rice mix together, turning into a curry version of "neko-manma" (a cat's meal). I quickly devoured the curry to prevent the roux from overtaking the rice. The shrimp were plump and the clams had a slight seafood flavor. The roux had the familiar taste of CoCo Ichibanya, with a hint of chutney and spices. It was a bit salty, but I finished the meal quickly. Overall, it was a satisfying meal.

I visited this place for lunch after a long time, so I'll just upload the photos. I had the "Fried Chicken Curry (Cheese MIX) for 1,077 yen". The rich and mild curry sauce, crispy fried chicken, and melted cheese combination was excellent. It was so delicious that I will definitely be revisiting soon.

Following yesterday's soup curry, today I had curry from Coco Ichibanya. I was a bit late and had limited choices to choose from. Parking spaces in Sapporo are generally small, especially with the snow making it even tighter. However, this restaurant had a relatively spacious parking lot. It was around 12:10 when I arrived, and the parking lot was about 80% full. Inside the restaurant, it was surprisingly empty. I sat at a table with my senior colleague, I-san, and looked at the menu. I decided to try the Coco Ichibanya Veggie Curry, priced at 857 yen including tax. I ordered it with 300g of rice and medium spiciness. There was also a similar menu item called "Vegetable Curry" priced at 820 yen including tax. I couldn't quite figure out the difference between the two. After ordering, the curry was ready in about 7-8 minutes. As always, the cost performance didn't seem very good. The taste was average, typical of Coco Ichibanya curry. I added some pickles and finished it quickly. Adding any toppings would have made it over a thousand yen, so I didn't opt for that. Overall, the satisfaction after finishing the meal was not particularly high, as usual.

I ended up going to CoCo Ichibanya again, even though I'm not a big fan. I ordered the Pork Cutlet Curry (with 400g of rice) for 907 yen plus an additional 110 yen. The curry had no vegetables and the sauce was watery and thin. It was hard to tell if that was a good or bad thing. After work, I bought the CoCo Ichibanya Curry Hot Pot Soup at the supermarket, even though I'm not a big fan of it.

The other day, on a Sunday evening, I wanted to finish up early as not many restaurants were open. I ordered curry and salad. I ordered a Caesar salad, but it had too much dressing and I couldn't eat it, so I left it. The curry was not bad, but it was disappointing.

When it comes to Cocoichi, people usually think of chain restaurants and curry rice. However, they also have soup curry on their menu, which is just as good as specialized soup curry shops. When I visited, I was overwhelmed by the variety of options, but I decided to go with the soup curry. I ordered the crispy chicken and vegetable soup curry, opting for the maximum level of spiciness for an extra charge. The service was quick, and the portion of soup was satisfying. The spiciness was just right, making me break a sweat. The flavor had a unique taste that I found somewhat addictive. The vegetables and meat were all deep-fried, but surprisingly, it wasn't too oily and I was able to finish it all. The mysterious spices added a nice touch, allowing for some flavor variations. Since there was no line, it was a convenient place to eat without any hassle. They also have plenty of parking spaces available. I will definitely visit again!

CoCo Ichi ٩(ˊᗜˋ*)و It's been a long time since I visited! I sometimes order takeout, but it feels like it's been over a year since I dined in at night. They have a limited-time special spice curry, but I decided to go with the shrimp curry since it's been a while. The curry has clams, shrimp, and squid in it, called "Seafood Curry." I added shrimp cutlets on top and also ordered squid salad. As usual, when I come here, I tend not to order meat. The spiciness level was 4, and with shrimp in the curry and cutlets, I felt truly happy♡ It was really delicious! They accept credit cards and electronic money, which is convenient for me since I sometimes forget my wallet when I go out shopping. It was delicious! Thank you for the meal!

I felt like having Cocoichi's curry after a long time, so instead of ordering delivery from home, I decided to visit the restaurant for dinner. The menu had been updated with some changes, but I stuck to my usual order of "Fried Chicken Curry (780 yen)" and "Caesar Salad (170 yen)". The mild and flavorful curry paired perfectly with the meat toppings, suiting my taste preferences. The portion size was generous enough, making it a very satisfying meal. I noticed some limited-time menu items that caught my interest, so I plan to revisit soon.

I visited for lunch after a long time, so I'll just post some photos. I ordered the limited-time menu item "Cabbage Menchi Katsu Curry with Cheese (1,186 yen)" and "Caesar Salad (262 yen)". The menchi katsu with plenty of cabbage gives a healthy impression. Personally, I feel that regular menchi katsu is more delicious, but the combination of cheese topping and curry roux was excellent.

"Old Miss" headed to CoCo Ichibanya for lunch. In front of her was a white ceramic bowl filled with a generous 400g of rice topped with pork cutlet curry. She scooped and ate, but as a big eater, she didn't feel full. Not bad, she thought, wiping the sweat off her forehead.

I visited for lunch. I occasionally crave CoCo Ichibanya. It's been a while since I last came. This branch is new to me. This time, I ordered the "Handmade Curry Trio," "Rice 400g," and "Spiciness Level 3." It's a curry feast with tonkatsu, chicken katsu, and pork katsu! All the katsu dishes are delicious, but the quantity can be a bit overwhelming (・_・; Maybe I'm not feeling well today. It took me a while to finish. Eating fried food is tough when you're not feeling well... I'd like to come back again sometime. Thank you for the meal٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶

This year, the season for Grandmother's Curry has arrived, so I revisited for dinner. I ordered the "Grandmother's Curry (898 yen)" and "Vegetable Salad (189 yen)". The curry made by grandma has a taste similar to curry with lots of big vegetables. This year, it felt like the ginger was too strong, so personally, I think the taste from previous years was better. Instead of the spoon from the lottery, this year I received a clear file. It may no longer be on sale now since it is a limited-time offer, but I think it's good for those who like old-fashioned curry.

On a certain weekday, which happened to be a public holiday, I noticed there were not many cars parked in the parking lot as I passed by, so I decided to stop by CoCo Ichibanya along Ishiyama Street for lunch. The parking lot had enough space for parking. The interior of the restaurant was made up of a slightly unconventional layout with counter and table seating, and it was still quite clear at this early hour, which was convenient. I could hear faint jazz-like background music playing. Looking at the menu on this day, I noticed that there was an abundance of information other than curry, which made me feel a bit confused if you're not a regular customer. From the variety, I chose the "Low-carb curry with scrambled eggs and cheese topping (989 yen)" just because it sounded unusual! The spiciness was an additional charge, so I decided to pass on that. Taking a bite... Oh, cauliflower! It had been a while since I had curry, and it was indeed easy to eat. It was a well-balanced dish that anyone could enjoy, with just one piece of beef included. The scrambled eggs topping was fluffy, and the melting cheese required some skill to scoop up with the curry without making a mess. The cauliflower, which initially looked like dry rice, was actually finely minced and boiled, providing a cauliflower-like texture that I didn't mind at all. If it's low-carb, then I was delighted. Glancing at the menu again after a while, I felt that there was a lot of information that needed to be communicated to customers, but I think a simpler approach might be better. Nevertheless, the excellent customer service and efforts to survive by actively incorporating delivery services are commendable. Thank you for the meal.

Location-wise, the restaurant is located along Ishiyama Street in Minami 20-jo Nishi 11-chome in Chuo Ward. To find the exact location, as always, please check the map on Tabelog. I felt like having curry while driving along Ishiyama Street, so I decided to visit this restaurant. Upon arrival, I parked my car in the parking lot and entered the restaurant. I sat at a counter seat where social distancing measures were in place. I checked the menu and found a small size menu, and ordered the limited menu item "Small Pork Fillet Curry" with spice level 1. I waited for my order to arrive. It came in about 7-8 minutes, along with a "fragrant sauce" brought by the staff. I checked the thickness of the pork fillet, which was as expected. I poured the curry sauce over the fillet and enjoyed it. The meat was tender with a crispy texture. I also had some Fukujinzuke on the side of the rice. The curry sauce had a perfect level of spiciness for me. The fragrant sauce, which tasted like a chutney with a balance of acidity and sweetness, intrigued me. I tried it on its own and then added a bit to the curry, which enhanced the flavor. The small portion size was just right for me, leaving me satisfied but not overly full.

I visited for lunch on a holiday. I was looking for a place to have lunch on the way back from Mount Teine, but all the famous places and small restaurants with small parking lots were full. I thought I could park easily at Coco Ichibanya, so I locked on to it and was able to park smoothly. I entered the restaurant thinking it would be nice to warm up with curry in the cold weather. I was seated at the counter, with each seat separated by acrylic panels. It is the largest curry chain in Japan, so I carefully chose my menu as it can become quite expensive if you're not careful. I opted for the chicken curry, which seemed to offer good value for money. Today's order: Chicken Katsu Curry, spice level 1, topped with boiled egg, 883 yen. The spice level goes up gradually in price as you go from medium to spicy curry. You can also adjust the spiciness with the hot sauce on the table. I didn't have to wait too long. Chicken dishes (katsu, simmered, crispy) seemed to be popular this time. It's not anything special, but I think it's a delicious curry that everyone can enjoy. It has a good richness, and spice level 1 was just right for me. The freshly fried chicken katsu was tender and easy to cut with a spoon. I didn't see any other ingredients besides that. They have pork curry on the menu, but it's the type where everything is melted together. The default 300 grams of rice is starting to feel like a lot. Next time, 200 grams should be enough. Thank you for the meal.

Casual lunch with a passionate Coco Ichibanya fan, of course we went to Coco Ichibanya. We visited before 12 pm and the parking lot was about 70% full. Inside the restaurant, there were mostly booth seats and about 60% of the customers were seated. We were seated in a booth towards the back and looked at the menu. The curry menu was quite extensive with many different options, including soup curry. The prices were a bit high, with some dishes costing over 1000 yen, especially if you add toppings. I was going to go for the reliable pork cutlet curry, but I found an interesting menu item and went with my gut feeling to order the beef cutlet curry for 860 yen with a spice level of 5 for an additional 110 yen. The dish arrived quickly, within about 6 minutes, and the beef cutlet was impressively shaped. I dug in immediately and found the beef cutlet to have a thin layer of meat and a thick coating, giving it a frozen texture with less meatiness and a noticeable greasiness in the coating. The curry itself was tasty, with a moderate level of spiciness, aroma, and umami that would appeal to most people. However, I underestimated the spice level of 5... it was really spicy! By the time I finished, I was sweating quite a bit. The bill came out to almost 1000 yen, and for me, the cost performance was just okay. Thank you for the meal.

I had a quick mission to deliver a package and greet someone, and then I was planning to return to Tomakomai via Ishiyama Street for lunch. However, for some reason, I suddenly felt like having CoCo Ichibanya curry, so I found a restaurant nearby and quickly went in. As I looked at the menu, I noticed a new option called "CoCo Ichibanya Veggie Curry" which uses no animal-derived ingredients in the curry sauce. I was intrigued and decided to order it. The Veggie Curry had a modern twist compared to the traditional CoCo Ichibanya curry, with a refreshing and clean aftertaste. It seemed like they had toned down the richness of the basic pork sauce, but it didn't feel lacking in flavor. Perhaps the slight lack of richness was compensated by the saltiness. This type of curry would probably go well with vegetable or fried toppings to enhance the flavor. While I didn't have any complaints, I don't think I would choose this option again in the future as it is not particularly low in calories or salt content. It seems like a special menu option tailored for vegetarians.

I often come here to eat. My favorite dishes are the shrimp cutlet topping, shrimp simmered curry, and shrimp. I love the seafood feast. Today, I was in the mood for the seafood feast, so I had two pieces of fish fry with shrimp cutlet and curry with shrimp and clams. It's my favorite menu, so delicious! I don't usually choose meat dishes, I prefer fried foods because they are crispy and the curry is especially delicious. Even though it's not incredibly amazing, the balance is just right. I could eat it every day without getting tired of it. It's so delicious that I might not need to eat it every day, but I will definitely come back again! Thank you for the meal!
