This is a shop located in a residential area. I heard good things about it, so I decided to visit. This time, I ordered the "tenzaru" (1,300 yen). I had heard that it was hand-made soba, but it seems I misheard. First, a large teacup of tea was served, which surprised me. Then, the soba dipping sauce and broth arrived, which was another surprise. When the tray was brought out, I was really amazed. It was a quite enjoyable soba restaurant experience.

This is a review of a restaurant in Nanporo, Shichinohe Town. The location is relatively close to the town hall, just off a main street and into a residential area. I used the GPS to navigate to the address, but had to circle around a couple of times before finally finding the place. There is parking space for about 4-5 cars in front of the restaurant. When I arrived around 12:00 on a weekday, there were a few customers finishing their meals and only a couple of groups already seated inside. The seating options included a 6-seater table, a 4-seater table, and two 4-seater raised tatami tables. There was no counter seating available. Due to social distancing measures, the staff asked us to wait near the entrance as some tables were still occupied. Eventually, we were seated at a table that had just been cleared. The restaurant had already run out of their daily special, so I ordered the cold soba noodles and oyakodon set (hot). The first bowl of soba noodles arrived at 12:35, about 15 minutes after ordering. The noodles were very thin, and while they were cooked well, I personally prefer slightly thicker noodles. The broth was on the sweeter side for the cold noodles and a bit too strong for the hot noodles. The service was a bit slow, but the flavor of the broth was good. Overall, the restaurant is cozy and suitable for a leisurely meal. It may not be the best choice for those in a hurry. It's worth visiting when you have some time to spare and maybe try to arrive early to secure the daily specials.

I went to this restaurant based on a friend's recommendation! There was no signboard, and it was located in a residential area, but it had a nice atmosphere. I tried the oyster course, which was surprising for a soba restaurant. The oysters they used were called Hidemi Oysters from Mori Town. It was my first time trying them, and they had a rich flavor and were delicious! I had raw oysters, steamed oysters, oyster hot pot, oyster fry, oyster rice, and basically a year's worth of oysters! I also tried their soba, which was thin and had a good texture, and it paired perfectly with the flavorful soba broth. The interior of the restaurant had a traditional Japanese feel, which was very calming. Surprisingly, they also had a variety of drinks, including Maou.
