I had lunch at a newly opened restaurant in a bustling area about a 5-minute walk from Okachimachi Station. The goal this time was to try the "Wagyu Three Sisters," which has been popular on Instagram and TikTok. I arrived around noon, and there were about six groups ahead of me in line, resulting in a wait of about 40 minutes. The restaurant is small but always busy and full of energy. The "Wagyu Three Sisters" set was priced at 2500 yen, and it includes unlimited rice and miso soup, which is a nice touch. The eldest sister's dish, the rich egg-topped yukke don (raw beef bowl), featured incredibly tender meat, and the flavor of the yellow egg combined with the sauce was absolutely delicious. The second sister's dish, the tender steak bowl, had a perfect rare doneness and was wonderfully meaty. I tried it with tororo (grated yam) for the first time, and surprisingly, it paired well with the meat and was tasty. The youngest sister's dish, the seared yukke don topped with scallops and three types of fish roe, had plump scallops that went perfectly with the beef and was quite delicious as well. When I went in just after noon, it seemed like there were many couples and women dining there. The food was served quickly, and the turnover was high, making it a comfortable spot to visit alone too. It's also great that they are currently offering a 500 yen discount for the opening promotion. I'm also interested in their grilled shabu-shabu set, so I definitely want to come back again.

【Nearest Station】3 minutes walk from Okachimachi Station, 5 minutes walk from Ueno Station【Budget】2,000–3,000 yen【Payment Methods】Cash, Credit Card, QR Code, Transportation IC Card【Menu】・Wagyu Three Sisters Set Meal 2,750 yen【Comment】This time, I visited Wagyu San Shimai with a friend for lunch. As the name suggests, Wagyu San Shimai offers a delightful selection of bowls inspired by three sisters. The dish we ordered, "Wagyu Three Sisters Set Meal," is a luxurious menu featuring three bowls, each with its own unique character. First, the "Elder Sister's Rich Egg Yuke Don" is centered around wagyu yuke with a perfect balance of meat and fat. The addition of the rich egg enhances the creaminess and smoothness, creating an incredibly delicious experience in the mouth! Next, we have the "Luxurious Younger Sister's Tender Steak Bowl," which features a rare steak that pairs wonderfully with tororo (grated yam). The tororo elevates the flavor of the meat, and there's no doubt that it'll make you want to keep eating rice. It's a simple yet indulgent flavor to enjoy! Lastly, there's the "Greedy Youngest Sister's Three Types of Fish Roe Yuke Don," a lavish dish with generous amounts of fish roe on top of white rice, enhanced by the delicious fat of scallops and wagyu. The saltiness and umami explode in your mouth, offering a sense of bliss! Wagyu San Shimai is a restaurant where each bowl shines with its own individuality and deliciousness, making them all incredibly appetizing! I definitely recommend visiting at least once. Thank you for the meal!!

It was reasonable, not bad, and just ordinary! I paid extra because I wanted to drink beer! The meat was undeniably satisfactory and just fine! There were a lot of young people who ordered Instagram-worthy dishes, and not many adults like us were there!

I ordered the three-sister meat bowl, which includes Yukhoe, steak, and seafood meat bowl—each offering a different delicious flavor. While it was tasty, the seasoning was a bit on the strong side, and I felt it could be toned down a bit to better highlight the ingredients' natural flavors. As an adult male, I found the portion size slightly insufficient, so it might be a good idea to go for the large size, which is free. There are also four different lunch bowls to choose from that looked delicious and seemed to offer good value for money.

I was glad I made a reservation. It was a small restaurant with limited seating, so it was always full. Everything was delicious. They offered unlimited refills on the soup and free large servings of rice. The soup was so good that I had a second helping. I think the regular portion might be on the smaller side for men, so a large serving of rice is just right. The potato salad with beef was also very tasty. I want to add this restaurant to the list of places I want to visit again.

I made a reservation for Tuesday at 12 PM. When I arrived, there were still available seats, but by around 12:30 PM, it was fully booked. I ordered the Wagyu Three Sisters Set for 2750 yen. Everything was delicious, but my favorite was the rich egg-topped yukhoe! I was worried it might be too much food, but the bowl was smaller than it looked in the photos, making it just the right portion for women. It might be a bit small for men, though. I was also pleased that the miso soup could be refilled for free!

I went with my coworkers for lunch. Perhaps because it was a weekday, there was no line, but the restaurant was at full capacity, so we waited about 5 minutes before being seated. The menu featured the Wagyu Three Sisters dish and a few other items, but it seemed like everyone in the restaurant ordered the Wagyu Three Sisters rice bowl! The red miso soup and rice were either unlimited or had one round of free refills, but I can't quite remember. I apologize for the fuzzy details. The taste was very delicious, and it was just the right amount to leave me feeling full! I would love to visit again for a celebration or to uplift my spirits. Thank you for the meal!

I visited Wagyu San Shimai, which is located just off the street next to Ameyoko, close to Ueno Station! I entered the restaurant after 5 PM and was able to sit right away. At first, I was a little worried that the portion sizes might be large based on the photos. However, the bowls were actually slim at the bottom, so I was able to enjoy all three types without any problem! There was no distinctive odor typical of wagyu, and the flavors weren’t overwhelmingly strong, which made the meal surprisingly easy to eat. Overall, I was very satisfied with the price, portion sizes, and deliciousness of the meal!

I've been craving Wagyu lately, and I happened to find this restaurant while passing by. I was able to enjoy three different flavors, and surprisingly, even during lunchtime, it wasn't crowded, so I could eat right away. The soup was free for an extra large serving, and it was really delicious!

I took a day off on a weekday and visited the restaurant with a friend. It was early afternoon, so the place was quite empty. We ordered the "Wagyu Three Sisters" and everything was delicious. The meat was, of course, tasty, but I was blown away by the richness of the egg yolk in the yukhoe. There are other items on the menu too, so I'd like to go back again.

I had been wanting to visit this restaurant that I saw on social media. I made a reservation for 12:30. I loved that I could try three types of luxurious mini rice bowls – they looked amazing, tasted great, and everything was just perfect! The rice was soft and just to my liking. The star of the meal for me was the rich yolk beef tartare bowl, which was the most delicious. I left feeling completely full! Thank you for the wonderful meal!

Wagyu Three Sisters Meal ¥2750 (tax included) - It came with three bowls, each with its own unique flavor, and they were all very delicious! The second sister's steak bowl was enjoyed with grated yam on top. The pickles helped cleanse my palate, and I was happy to have a large serving of rice and unlimited refills of the clear soup (I went with the large serving).

I made a reservation for lunch and was able to enter smoothly. The "Wagyu Three Sisters" and "Beef Tongue Set" were served in about 10 minutes after I ordered. Both dishes were really delicious. The highlight was definitely the Yukke Don; the richness of the egg yolk combined perfectly, making it the best dish of all.

Late October. On a weekday around 3 PM, I was strolling along Chuo-dori in Ueno Okachimachi when I discovered a restaurant called Wagyu Three Sisters. I entered by climbing the narrow stairs next to Gyukatsu Aona. When I reached the second floor, I found a surprisingly spacious and clean restaurant. It didn’t seem like a typical place for an older gentleman to have lunch; it felt more like a spot for girls' gatherings or couples on a date. However, since it was rather quiet at that time, I took a seat at a table. Looking at the lunch menu, I noticed the weekday lunch exclusive "Gattsuri San Kyodai Gozen" (1,500 yen, tax included), which looked reasonable. Though it’s called "Three Brothers," it actually features four options: melting beef tendon rice bowl, spicy minced meat rice bowl with a soft-boiled egg, grated radish hamburger rice bowl, and roast beef rice bowl. You can choose three out of these four. I decided on the melting beef tendon rice bowl, grated radish hamburger rice bowl, and roast beef rice bowl. About ten minutes later, the Gattsuri San Kyodai Gozen arrived. It came with three bowls on one tray. Each bowl was smaller than I expected. I wouldn't quite call it "hearty." However, each bowl looked very appealing. Since the restaurant prides itself on its meat, the roast beef was indeed delicious, though the sauce was a bit on the salty side. Given how good the roast beef itself was, I thought a lighter sauce would be better; perhaps it was tailored for rice bowls. The melting beef tendon rice bowl featured beef tendon stew and grated yam. It was eye-opening to taste such different quality beef tendon. The combination with grated yam was delightful. The grated radish hamburger rice bowl had a chunky hamburger patty topped with perilla leaves and grated daikon. It didn’t feel piping hot, suggesting they may cool it slightly for serving. Therefore, there wasn't much juicy flavor bursting out. The grated radish sauce was quite strong in flavor, overshadowing the natural taste of the hamburger, which felt a bit regrettable. Initially, I thought the bowls were smaller and wouldn't be very filling. But by the time I finished the three bowls, I felt quite satisfied. Additionally, the service was attentive and very pleasant. Thank you for the meal!

I had been really wanting to try the Wagyu Three Sisters Bento, so I made a reservation and finally visited the restaurant! The dining area has about 20 seats, and most people were there in pairs. They offer free sizable servings of rice, so of course I went for the large portion! It wasn't overwhelmingly large, so no worries there! After a wait, I finally got to enjoy the Three Sisters Bento. I thought it might be heavy, but each sister had a different appearance and vibe, making it very enjoyable! My personal favorite was the bowl with steak topped with grated yam. I'm also curious about the other menu items, so I definitely want to visit again!

I made a reservation in advance and visited around noon on Saturday. By the time I entered, the seating was almost full, so I recommend making a reservation if you plan to go on weekends or holidays. There were many tempting menu options like the steak set and beef tongue set, but since it was my first time, I chose the signature dish, the "Three Sisters Set." - The first sister: Hisatoko's rich egg yolk yukke bowl - The second sister: Luxurious tender steak bowl - The third sister: Greedy scallop and three kinds of fish roe yukke bowl Everything was delicious, but I particularly liked the first sister's yukke bowl! It was visually beautiful and made for a highly satisfying lunch. Thank you for the meal! o(^-^)o

I found out about this restaurant through social media and was really excited to finally go! There were surprisingly many menu options, but I decided to try their signature dish, the "Three Sisters." Since I love meat and Yukhoe, I enjoyed all three of them, and the portion sizes were just right. It might be about two-thirds full for men? Perhaps because it was a weekday lunch, the atmosphere was quiet and I was able to eat calmly.

I visited the Wagyu Three Sisters Gozen restaurant right when it opened and was the first customer! I made a reservation, but I noticed they were asking everyone if they had a reservation, so I highly recommend making one in advance. The dishes included a topping of egg and wasabi, along with tororo, as well as scallops, salmon roe, and tobiko topped with caviar. Everything was delicious and quite filling, yet I finished it all! Personally, I found the dish with wasabi to be the best! The service was quick, and the presentation was beautiful and impressive. Considering the price, the taste was worth it! However, as time passed and the restaurant got busier, I felt a bit pressured to leave, which was a little disappointing. Since it's not a place you can visit often due to the price, I took my time to enjoy the meal. Overall, it was a delightful experience!

I was drawn in by the enticing sounds of wagyu, yukke, and three different ways to enjoy them, so I decided to enter the restaurant after seeing the sign. I ordered the signature dish, "Wagyu Three Sisters." The oldest sister was the yukke bowl. Having only eaten minced yukke before, the sliced version was refreshing. The egg seemed to be one of those rich "maximum something" types I've seen recently. The second sister was the steak bowl, which came with grilled meat enjoyed with tororo (grated yam) and wasabi – a delightful dish that brought out the sweetness of the meat. The youngest sister was a sushi bowl topped with raw meat, lightly seared scallops, ikura (salmon roe), caviar (?), and tobiko (fish roe). Each ingredient was a luxury item, and I found myself wondering how best to eat it. I opted to savor each one individually, but maybe I should have eaten them all together instead... By the way, each bowl was tea-cup sized and had a reverse Fuji mountain shape. Thinking I might be still hungry, I ordered a large serving of rice (which was free), but to my surprise, I ended up extremely full! The staff's service was pleasant, and while it’s not a place where you can linger during lunch hours, I was able to enjoy my meal comfortably. What I realized during my visit is that it's not about the restaurant itself; I seem to prefer grilled meat over raw meat. I plan to focus on grilled meat next time!

These punchy wagyu dishes... You can enjoy the three sisters during lunch. I don't think there's anyone who dislikes this, haha! Personally, the eldest sister, the yukke, was extremely delicious. The sauce was so good that I could eat plenty of it by itself. That said, it's all about the three varieties, so please make sure to check it out!

The restaurant that was trending on Instagram or TikTok was available for reservation on Tabelog, so I made a booking in advance. However, it seemed like you could get in without a reservation if you arrive early. I ordered the Wagyu Sisters Set for ¥2,750. There are other menu items, but it looked like most customers were ordering this one. It includes luxurious items like yukhoe and steak, so it definitely has Instagram-worthy visuals! As for the taste, it wasn't bad, but it wasn't exceptionally delicious either. The steak was tender enough to chew, but I couldn't really taste the rich flavor of the meat, which was a bit disappointing. If you go in expecting high-quality yukhoe like you'd find at a premium yakiniku restaurant, you might be let down, but if you think of it as B-grade gourmet, it's fine. They offer free refills on rice, but since there weren't many ingredients, I didn't end up getting a refill. The bowls are rather small, so some people might find it insufficient. Thank you for the meal! ★

I visited for lunch after making a reservation. There are quite limited seats, so I was reminded that booking is essential. The Wagyu Three Sisters I ordered was visually stunning and incredibly delicious. I think it's a great deal to be able to taste three dishes at once.
