Today is Nukazoko Day. Now, onto Takanotsume. The other day, I received a gift from the Shihoku store, and it was delicious, especially the Dragon's Ultimate miso. So, since I had some business at Altimore, I decided to go there this time. The entrance was different, which made it a bit challenging to find my way around. Altimore is not a place I frequent, so I am not very familiar with the layout inside. Plus, the parking lot is huge. This time, I chose the right entrance, so I found it quickly. However, if you park far away, it might be better to move your car again, so be careful. Will I conquer the Dragon series?? Today, what position will I be in?? If it looks delicious, please click the "↓" button!! ⇒ Please click once for me
Here is the food ticket. Now, what should I eat? Should I go for the Dragon's Ultimate like I had the other day, or should I try the Charred Lard Shoyu? What is Dyna Maibuta Pork?? It piqued my curiosity. As I was deciding, someone got in line behind me, so I had to shift a bit haha. The concrete is exposed. In Tokyo, there are a lot of places with this kind of design. Altimore is mostly like this. However, I didn't feel it was too cold inside. Maybe the heating was working really well. Concrete usually gives a cold impression, but maybe it's not so bad after all. And here it comes. In the end, I chose the Charred Lard Shoyu. By the way, Charred Lard has a salty flavor to it. There is also the Dragon's Drop, which is also shoyu, but I wonder what the difference is. I went with Charred Lard because it sounded interesting. More Bamboo Shoots I got a coupon from becoming LINE friends, so I asked for extra bamboo shoots. The bamboo shoots are cut into a size that gives a satisfying bite, and the flavor is well infused. Bamboo shoots are so delicious, right? I think they are better with a bit of texture rather than being too soft. Chashu Quite large. You can enjoy both the taste of the meat and the fat with this type of chashu. It was slightly cold, so I first dipped it in the soup to warm it up. It's a big piece, so it gives a satisfying feeling when you eat it. Thin straight noodles. The noodles are medium-thin, straight noodles. They are low hydration noodles with a firm texture, just like the ones I had in Shibetsu. Noodle preferences vary from person to person. I grew up in Tokyo, so I like high hydration chewy noodles. But in Asahikawa, they are used to this type of noodles, so there is a demand for it here. I want to compare it with high hydration noodles someday. Punchy Soup The shoyu flavor is made using Kikkoman soy sauce from Asahikawa, which gives the soup a unique taste. However, it is much milder than the typical Asahikawa soy sauce. It feels like they added soy sauce to the soup base. I added some garlic miso that I learned about last time to the soup. And the taste changed dramatically, with a super punchy flavor. If you don't have plans to meet anyone after this, I highly recommend adding this to your soup. But it's best to taste the original first and then add it later. Now... should I go for salt or the Dragon series next? Thank you for the meal. ⇒◇There are also stores in Canada and at Asahikawa Airport, it seems◇When it comes to curry in Sapporo, this is the place, right?Coming soon...
